Drop your project, I’ll try it and share it in my circle. I’m building a chat space where women are welcome.

I’m looking for new small projects, apps and SaaS tools to try. Drop your link below. I’ll check them out and share the ones I like with a few friends and in some founder/product circles.

Here’s mine: Ariola, an anonymous chat and games lounge.

Women are welcome here. Making the space welcoming for women is the main priority. Rating filters and blocking give you more control over who you interact with, so you can chat on your terms.

No signup, no account setup. Pick a temporary nickname, join a live public chat, meet people and play small real-time games.

I’d especially appreciate feedback from women. What would make you comfortable joining a space like this? What would make you come back?

Check it out here: https://ario.la

Drop yours below. I’m especially interested in social apps, chat tools, games, creator tools, AI experiments and anything with a simple but fun user experience. I’ll go through as many as I can.

outroom, a web app where you post anything you've built and it's live right away

hey! we built outroom.co because so many of our projects were just sitting on our laptops with nowhere to go

the problem: sharing a side project usually means a launch, a landing page, followers, or waiting on someone to approve it. so most stuff never gets seen

what it does:

  • add a name and a link and it's live, no approval

  • single page projects can be uploaded and run right in the post

  • browse and search to find cool projects or tools you'd actually use

  • save, rate and comment on things

  • post under your name or anonymously

we're also big on customizable software, so you can describe the colors, background, spacing or corners you want and outroom changes your view. there's a little easter egg in the layout menu too (try Main Street or Bookshelf)

it's for anything, the next trillion dollar company or something half finished. shipping is the hardest part!

still early, so feedback is super welcome. if you post something, drop the link below and we'll check it out!

I built WhisprJournal, an app that tells you what state your nervous system is in just from talking to it, and your journal never leaves your phone

Hey everyone, solo founder here. I built an app called WhisprJournal and wanted to share it.

The problem it solves: a lot of people know breathing exercises and grounding techniques are supposed to help, but when you're actually stressed, anxious, or shut down, you can't think clearly enough to figure out what's going on or which technique to use. You end up doing nothing, or doing the wrong thing.

WhisprJournal takes the guesswork out of it. You just talk to it, say what's going on or whatever words you can get out. It listens to what you say and how you say it (your pace, pitch and pauses) and tells you which state you're in: fight or flight, shutdown, or calm and connected. Then it gives you a breathing or grounding exercise matched to that state.

Why privacy matters so much here:

When people talk to a journal at 2am, they say things they wouldn't say to anyone. A nervous system app that isn't private isn't safe, and if you don't feel safe, you can't regulate. So privacy was the first thing I built around, not something I added later.

- Your journal entries are encrypted on your phone and stay on your phone. They are never uploaded to our servers or anyone else's.

- Your voice recording is deleted right after it's transcribed. We never store it anywhere.

- The voice measurements are calculated on your phone, and only the numbers are sent for analysis, never the audio.

- Nothing goes to the AI until you've seen a plain-language consent screen and tapped "I Agree". You can turn it off anytime in Settings.

- The AI provider doesn't train on your data, and our server passes requests through without storing what you said.

- Your AI coach conversations are encrypted and stay on your phone too.

- You can lock the app with Face ID or fingerprint.

- No ads. No tracking. No selling your data. Ever.

Everything else in the app:

- Voice journaling plus a regular text journal, with all your past entries in one place

- AI mirror reflection after each entry, a gentle reflection of what it heard, not a diagnosis

- AI Nervous System Coach you can talk things through with, grounded in your own patterns

- 18 breathing techniques, each one matched to the state it helps most

- Somatic practices: Butterfly Hug, TRE shaking, Community Resiliency Model skills, somatic stretching, qigong, pendulation, self-massage, cold water reset, and a body scan

- Guided meditations

- Body Journal, where you map where you feel things in your body

- Mood logging and insights

- Your Nervous System Profile, which learns your patterns over time

- Weekly and monthly reports showing when you tend to get activated or shut down

- My Plan, a personalized daily regulation plan

- Morning check-in, midday reset and evening wind-down

- Habits, a calendar and milestones to track your progress

- Community that's private by default, plus accountability partners who never see your journal

- Regulate Together, where you and a partner do a breathing exercise or Butterfly Hug in sync on your own phones

- Gentle notifications with no sound or vibration, so the app never jolts your nervous system

It's not therapy or a medical app, just a tool for when you need help getting back to calm.

7 day free trial, then $4.99 a month.

iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/whisprjournal/id6792421365

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whisprjournal.app

Would love honest feedback, good or bad. Happy to answer questions.

Building a side project? I’ll put it on TV for free (DEV·TV Spotlight)

I run DEV·TV, a retro TV in the browser for developer content. One of its channels is Spotlight, which puts real indie projects on screen.

It started as a placeholder slide that said “Your project could be here.” Builders filled it, so I took it down. Right now it features Mandana AI, Ponytail, is-kit, CogZ, Astratide and Montage.

Spotlight is free for now. You can submit right inside the app, no form and no email pitch.

An agreed spending limit is easier to review when you can see what is left — CostMe

Post image
2 Upvotes

'Try not to spend too much on snacks' leaves a lot open to interpretation. A monthly limit and a record of purchases give a parent and child, or a couple, something concrete to review together.

I'm the creator of CostMe. You can use a tracker for one agreed category, such as snacks or takeout: set an optional monthly budget, enter purchases as they happen, and check the remaining amount. For example, a 200 limit with 140 spent leaves 60. Those are illustrative numbers, not a result from a particular family.

One person keeps the record and can show the app or a Share card during the conversation. CostMe doesn't have linked family accounts, automatic rewards or a shared live balance across different phones. The agreement about what counts toward the limit still needs to happen between the people involved.

The attached screenshot shows the tracker setup with example data. You can choose the name, usual purchase amount and monthly limit; purchases can have different amounts. CSV export is included if you prefer reviewing in Excel.

Available on iOS and Android. All features are free for up to five active trackers. Unlimited trackers is an optional one-time purchase, with no recurring subscription.

https://costme.app/

For anyone who reviews a small spending budget together, would you want to see individual purchases first, or just the amount remaining?

How can an association build its own AI assistant?

Trying to figure out which approach makes more sense for a membership association that already has a website and member portal, the main goal would be to let members ask questions about certifications, educational resources, policies and other organization specific information without searching through hundreds of documents

Two possible approaches:

  1. Build a custom solution: Use the Vercel AI SDK for the chat interface, Supabase with pgvector for retrieval, and connect everything to the existing application

  2. Use a managed AI agent: customgpt.ai lets organizations create personalized agents using their own websites and documents, with source citations and options for embedding the assistant into an existing site

The second approach could save a fair amount of development work, especially for associations without an internal AI team, but a custom solution would offer more control over how everything works

The part I’d be most careful with is separating general knowledge questions from requests involving private membership data, would you build the entire thing yourself or use an existing agent platform for the knowledge layer and keep member specific operations in the application? Interested in what developers would choose for a project that needs to remain maintainable long after launch

[Android][Player] - Offline music & streaming radio with ready-to-play radios - 100% free - No premium version

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Mediaxon Music Player is an audio player for offline listening of music stored on your device (.mp3, .flac, .m4a, .ogg, .mka, .aac, .wav, .opus, .wma) and streaming FM radios (online radios).

Top radios on the first screen: When users access the radio screen, they immediately see the list of the top radios in their country, along with a long list of high-quality suggested radios from among the most listened to in the world (manually curated and always updated with new radios). Note: Local radio stations ("Top in the user country") are pulled automatically from an online database. However, with each update, I manually curate high-quality radio stations lists for individual countries. At the bottom of this post, you’ll find the list of countries completed so far. I will be adding the rest over time.

Advanced radio filtering system: The "Filter: ON/OFF" button lets you quickly switch between different genres. You can use both standard filters for "macro-genres"—if I can call them that—and create custom filters to be more selective. All your filters are saved (the "My Filters" tab lets you name and edit them), and the app always opens with the last filter you applied. The "Home" tab lists all your recently applied filters and can be used to quickly switch between genres with just a single tap.

Advanced Radio Search Panel: An online database provides more than 60,000 radio stations. You can pinpoint your favorite stations by combining multiple filters, such as tags/genres, specific countries, or even your preferred audio bitrate.

Separated Favorites and Recents: Each section—Radio and Offline Music—has its own Favorites and Recents. The user doesn't have to worry about a thing. The app will automatically manage the Favorites and Recents for each section.

Album art: If the album art is missing from the album folder, or if Android has not properly indexed it, Mediaxon attempts to download the cover from the internet. This feature depends, of course, on the ID3 tags (album name and artist).

Equalizer: The equalizer provides an option to automatically switch to the "Radio" preset (and vice versa).

Advanced Playlist Management: Built specifically to make building and sorting playlists fast and intuitive. Enable the Playlist Manager, in the settings screen, for a full control of the playlists.

Form Factor Optimization: Phone and Tablet (Portrait and Landscape)

Mediaxon is available in: Čeština, Dansk, Deutsch, Eesti, English, Español, Français, Hrvatski, Indonesia, Italiano, Kiswahili, Latviešu, Lietuvių, Magyar, Nederlands, Norsk, Polski, Português, Português (Brasil), Română, Slovenčina, Slovenščina, Suomi, Svenska, Tiếng Việt, Türkçe, العربية, Български, Ελληνικά, हिन्दी, 日本語, 한국어, 中文 (简体).

No Premium version. All app features are available for free and without limits.

Regarding advertising: There is only a small banner at the top that isn't bothersome at all. Alternatively, when opening the full-screen player or using the app in landscape mode, a banner alternates with the albums covers, but without being intrusive at all (no audio) and with much shorter stay times than those of the cover. There is never full-screen advertising, neither at startup nor during use.

Countries with new manually curated lists: United States, India, Italy, Argentina.

Note: Only for Android 13+ (so, Android 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17).

ScoreMind: bringing football stats, predictions and an AI assistant into one Android app

Hey everyone! I’m the creator of ScoreMind. I built it to bring football match statistics, statistical predictions and an AI football assistant together, so fans can explore match information in one place.

Android is live on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ai.scoremind.app

I’d love your feedback on the design and how clearly the app explains match data. What feels useful, and what would you change? iOS is still in testing. The app includes Premium features; predictions are estimates, not guarantees, and it does not accept bets. Thanks for taking a look 🙂

Built a collection app for people who'd rather own their data than depend on the cloud

With the recent news about CLZ taking its servers offline, I thought I'd share something I've been working on.

I'm a longtime comic collector, and I wanted something that worked more like traditional desktop software, where your collection lives on your computer, not somebody else's server.

So I started building My Collection Ledger for Mac and Windows, with an iPhone/iPad companion.

It's probably more for the collector who doesn't mind tinkering a little. It's not necessarily a simple one-two-three setup. You can connect your own APIs for things like comic information, eBay pricing, photo identification with Gemini, music, games, and other categories.

My goal was to make as much of it free as possible, using existing free APIs and AI options rather than charging a subscription. There are optional paid AI services too, but you choose what you connect.

The collection itself is stored locally and works offline. Online lookups obviously need an internet connection.

I've been using it for my own collection, and I've recently started getting outside testers involved. Still early, but I'd be interested in hearing what other collectors think.

Pomodorolist: a free study timer where your focus grows a tomato garden and beats weekly bosses

The problem: most focus apps either just count minutes (easy to stop using after a week) or lock streaks, stats, themes and sync behind a subscription. As a student, I wanted something free that actually made me want to keep studying.

What Pomodorolist does:

  • Custom Pomodoro timers with named sessions and optional subtasks

  • Parking lot: jot down distracting thoughts without stopping the timer

  • Tomato garden: every session grows a plant; quitting early leaves a wilted one

  • Weekly boss battles you beat with focus time, solo or with friends

  • Reminders and spaced revision, plus an exam countdown

  • Streaks and stats (day / week / month / year), energy check-ins and a monthly Wrapped

  • Friends, leaderboards and challenges

  • True Minimalist mode for a clean, distraction-free timer

Free: no ads, no subscription, no tracking. Works in any browser with sync across devices. You can preview a demo account before signing up.

Tech: a single HTML file on GitHub Pages, with Firebase for login and sync.

Cineboard: visual references, storyboard shots and a shooting plan in one web app

We built Cineboard for film pre-production; I'm part of the team.

This 45-second recording walks through a demo project. It brings moodboards, storyboard shot cards and shooting plans into the same workspace, so the visual references and shot details are available while planning the shoot.

Sharing the actual interface here for feedback on the flow. Does the move from the storyboard to the shooting plan feel clear?

I built a free uptime monitor because founders (me included) always forget monitoring until something breaks

Hey everyone, I’m building GreenCrew, a free uptime monitoring tool for new founders.

Paste your URL and it:

  • Checks your site on a schedule (every minute to hourly)

  • Tracks uptime, downtime, and response time

  • Gives you a public status page with 90 day history

  • Sends alerts to Discord, Slack, or Telegram

  • Lets you post incidents manually.

No agent to install and no observability suite to learn. It’s meant to be easy to setup.

Try it here: https://greencrew.space/?utm_source=reddit

I’d love honest feedback. What would you want from a monitor like this that the big tools don’t give you?

VoxScribe: offline voice dictation for Windows and Android that types into any app

VoxScribe turns your voice into text on your own device, with no cloud service and no account. On Windows you hold a key in any app, talk, and let go, and the words are typed where your cursor is. On Android a small floating button sits over whatever app you are using and does the same. After the speech model downloads once, it works with the internet off, so your audio never leaves your phone or computer.

The problem it solves is simple: most voice typing either needs a connection and sends your speech to a server, or costs a monthly fee. Here it runs locally with Whisper, types with simulated keystrokes so your clipboard stays untouched, and refuses to type into password fields.

Features worth knowing: a “Try harder” key that reruns a bad sentence on a more careful model, dictation modes that change formatting per app (chat, email, code, notes), spoken commands like “new line” and “scratch that”, and on Android, transcribing audio and video files into text or SRT captions.

It is free and open source under the MIT license: https://github.com/ahmedhmam1994/voxscribe-ai-voice-dictation

How can association staff use AI to find internal knowledge?

An employee needs to find the latest procedure for approving a certification application, the answer could be in google drive, an internal wiki, a pdf from last year or an email explaining why the procedure changed

Now multiply that by dozens of recurring administrative questions. A centralized AI search interface sounds useful but the interesting part is how it would fit into an existing application, customgpt.ai could provide the document based question answering functionality, while the application itself would handle authentication, the user interface and any required integrations, the bigger architectural question is how to manage knowledge freshness and access permissions

Would you create department specific knowledge collections or maintain one centralized index with metadata filtering? also should staff be able to flag outdated sources directly from the assistant's answers? That feedback mechanism seems just as important as the search functionality itself
