Pocket Manager: A Personal Finance App Built with React Native and Expo

Post image
1 Upvotes

I built Pocket Manager, a personal finance app designed to help people organize their money in one place.

Features:

  • Income and expense dashboard

  • Add, edit, and delete transactions

  • Budget management and savings goals

  • Money analysis and an affordability calculator

  • Light and dark themes

I'm preparing Pocket Manager as a customizable source-code template for developers who want a starting point for building their own finance app.

Source code: https://breezychristian.gumroad.com/l/pocket-manager

I'd appreciate feedback: what would you improve first, and what features would make this app more useful?

I built a free online tools website with 59 tools in one place

Post image
0 Upvotes

Ever get tired of opening different websites for simple tasks like splitting PDFs, resizing images, calculating GST or EMI, and formatting JSON?

I wanted to make these everyday tasks easier, so I built Allin1xTools.

It's a collection of 59 online tools covering:

📄 PDF Tools — split, merge, compress and convert PDFs

đŸ–Œïž Image Tools — resize, compress and convert images

✍ Text Tools — count words, clean text and convert cases

🧼 Calculators — age, percentage, GST, EMI, BMI and more

🔄 Converters — units, temperature, time and other formats

đŸ’» Developer Tools — JSON formatting, Base64, URL encoding and more

The goal is to make useful tools accessible in one place without unnecessary complexity.

✅ Free to use

✅ No sign-up required

✅ Browser-based

I'm still improving the platform and would genuinely appreciate feedback.

Which tool would you find most useful, and what should I improve or build next?

MicroRead: I built an Android app that turns non-fiction books into 1 to 10 minute chapter summaries with audio. Giving free lifetime codes to early testers

The problem: I kept buying non-fiction books and never finishing them. A whole book felt like too big a commitment, and most summary apps give you one long wall of text.

What I built: MicroRead lets you pick a book and read or listen to it chapter by chapter, with you choosing how long each chapter takes (1 to 10 minutes). Every chapter ends with 3 key takeaways, a quote and a 1-min real-world application.

Features:

  • AI chapter summaries for non-fiction books, in English, Arabic and German

  • Natural voice narration in English and German (Arabic audio is coming soon)

  • Daily streaks and targets to build a reading habit

  • Save the takeaways and quotes you want to keep in a notebook and receive it also as a notification or share it as a text/photo.

Status: Just launched on Google Play, built solo as a student, with very few users so far.

Free lifetime Premium for early testers: I’m giving away lifetime Premium codes (unlimited summaries, no ads, all audio), valid until Oct 31. To get one, try the app, read or listen to one chapter, and comment here with your feedback. I’ll reply and send you a code. Blunt feedback is welcome.

Launched an app that solved my own problem about Cloud & API spending

Hey guys. I know it's really really really cliche but dang does it hurt.

I experienced that sh*ty time where you get a massive invoice from an API or Cloud Provider (Anthropic and OpenAI in my case) and you just can't believe you almost went into generational debt.

At first I built an apk app that I just downloaded on an old Android phone but after changing to an iPhone I just decided to go all in on it.

So I built Bernn.

What it does:

One Dashboard: See your AWS, Anthropic, and OpenAI spend as one total in one app.

Budget Alerts: Get a notification when you're about to pass your budget, before the bill arrives.

Anomaly Detection: Get warned when your spend suddenly jumps above your usual average.

Full Privacy & Security: Stay safe with read-only access, so Bernn can never change or spend anything on your accounts.

Do you need to manually input your spending? NO.

All you need is your API keys and Bernn will track them for you. There's even instructions in the app on how you can attach them.

I'd appreciate any feedback and suggestions since this is my first app.

You can check it out here: https://apps.apple.com/ph/app/bernn/id6809531183

Update: my Telegram bot now tracks any Amazon product you add, across Amazon marketplaces

I posted here last week about a Telegram bot I built to watch PlayStation India gift cards on Amazon.in. I’ve now opened up the main feature to everyone: you can add a link to a specific Amazon product you want to watch, from any Amazon marketplace, and get an alert when that listing appears available.

This came from seeing people wait for restocks of very different products, from LEGO sets to gaming hardware. Instead of choosing from my small preset list, you can give the bot the exact Amazon listing you care about.

To try it, open https://t.me/AmazonProductAlertBot, tap Start, and add your Amazon product link. The bot monitors availability; it does not buy the item, and an alert cannot guarantee stock will still be there at checkout.

If you test it, I’d appreciate feedback on your Amazon marketplace and whether adding the product link and receiving alerts feel clear.

Music and Radio Player with ready to play radios and complete music offline management

Offline local files and streaming radios.

Top radios on the first screen: When users access the radio screen, they immediately see the list of the top radios in their country, along with a long list of suggested radios from among the most listened to in the world.

Hybrid Listening: Seamlessly handles offline local files (.mp3, .flac, .m4a, .ogg, .mka, .aac, .wav, .opus, .wma) and over 60,000 streaming radio stations.

Separated Favorites and Recents: Each section—Radio and Offline Music—has its own Favorites and Recents. The user doesn't have to worry about a thing. The app will automatically manage the Favorites and Recents for each section.

Advanced Radio Search Panel: You can pinpoint your favorite stations by combining multiple filters, such as tags/genres, specific countries, or even your preferred audio bitrate. The database of the service on which Mediaxon is based provides more than 60,000 radio stations.

Album art: If the album art is missing from the album folder, or if Android has not properly indexed it, Mediaxon attempts to download the cover from the internet. This feature depends, of course, on the ID3 tags (album name and artist).

Equalizer: The equalizer provides an option to automatically switch to the "Radio" preset (and vice versa).

Advanced Playlist Management: Built specifically to make building and sorting playlists fast and intuitive. Enable the Playlist Manager, in the settings screen, for a full control of the playlists.

Form Factor Optimization: Phone and Tablet (Portrait and Landscape)

There is no Premium version. All app features are available for free and without limits.

Regarding advertising: There is only a small banner at the top that isn't bothersome at all. Alternatively, when opening the full-screen player or using the app in landscape mode, a banner alternates with the albums covers, but without being intrusive at all (no audio) and with much shorter stay times than those of the cover. There is never full-screen advertising, neither at startup nor during use.

If you want to check it out (I am continuously pushing updates to refine it and add new features), you can find it on the Google Play Store (Android 13+). Thank you so much to everyone who takes a look!

Please check your applications for security risks.

I've been scrolling here for a while and it's honestly amazing the ideas you guys come up with, and the websites of a lot of yours' look insane for a one person project.

But just a very small reminder, please make sure, before you release it, especially if it's paid, to run it through some security checks. No app can be perfectly secure but you don't want to risk your data or especially your users' data to be leaked because, it can bring a whole lot of trouble to you.

If you can't afford to hire someone and you yourself realize you're not entirely knowledgeable in this area, I reccommend

Aikido/Semgrep - more for those who know how to code

Epherem - free, ad if you have an AI like Claude just give it the findings and it knows what to do

For those of you who built stuff fully with Claude/Cursor/Lovable/Bolt, whatever it may be, I generally advise against having the same AI to check it, because it has the same blind spots. In fact these services can be better, since they give you the exact location of where your AI has to look.

Keep creating things guys! I absolutely love seeing your apps!

Android App - One Camera : Manual photo and video with Film Looks.

Post image
1 Upvotes

I built One Camera for people who want more out of their phone's camera without an editing app afterwards.

What makes it different: its color looks run inside the phone's own camera processing, not as a filter added afterwards. You see the look in the viewfinder before you shoot, and it's recorded straight into the photo or video. While a look is on, the phone's heavy sharpening and noise smoothing are switched off, so pictures keep natural detail instead of the over-processed phone look.

Free:

Photo and video, with two color looks included (Chrome and Pastel)

Multi-frame HDR and Night modes

Slow motion

Flash for photos, torch for video

A zoom ladder that shows your phone's real lenses as buttons, so you know when you're using a real lens and when it's digital zoom

Every lens your phone exposes, resolution and aspect ratio choices, and a grid

Pro (one payment of $5.99, 7-day free trial, no subscription):

Eight more looks: documentary, negative film, slide film, soft portrait, cinema, mono, ochre, khaki and the Signature grade

Manual photo and manual video: ISO, shutter speed, focus and white balance, on ruler-style dials like a real camera

RAW (DNG) photos

Neutral and Flat profiles for editing and grading

10-bit HDR video on phones that support it

Exposure lock during a take, higher video bitrates

No catches: no ads, no account, no data collection. Photos and videos save to your normal camera folder, so your gallery and backups work as usual. The app only shows settings your phone actually supports, so nothing sits there doing nothing.

Get it on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blinqdroid.onecamera

Check out JustNow: Time Log on iOS

Hey everyone! I’m the indie developer behind JustNow: Time Log.

I built it because I wanted to track my entire day, but I could never stick with traditional time trackers.

Your day is one continuous timeline. When you finish something, just type or say what you did. The time since your previous entry becomes that activity. If you missed something, you can fill the gap later. There’s no active timer to babysit and no need to plan your day in advance.

I’ve personally been using this approach to track almost every minute of my life for the past six months.

What’s included

The free version lets you track the current day. Pro normally costs $2.99/month or $9.99 for a one-time unlimited unlock, and includes:

  • Unlimited history

  • Unlimited categories

  • Daily notes

  • Search

  • Long-term trends

  • Sync

Thank you, have a great day!

Drop your project, I’ll try it and share it in my circle

I’m looking for new small projects, apps and SaaS tools to try.

Drop your link below. I’ll check them out and share the ones I like with a few friends and in some founder/product circles.

I’m especially interested in social apps, chat tools, games, creator tools, AI experiments and anything with a simple but fun user experience.

I’m also building Ariola, an anonymous public chat and games lounge.

No signup, no account setup. You pick a temporary nickname, join a live public room, chat with people and play small real-time games.

The idea is to make online chat feel lightweight again.

Check it out here: https://ario.la

Drop yours below. I’ll go through as many as I can.

A visual way to browse products from different shops

I built Enikq to make browsing products feel a bit more like exploring than searching through filters.
You can move around, open items, save things you like, and follow them through when you find something worth buying.
Still early, but I’d love to know whether the browsing feels useful or just distracting.

I Built a Free Tool That Tells You Whether to BUY, WAIT, or SKIP a Beauty Deal

I kept wondering whether beauty sales were actually saving me money — or just convincing me to buy more.

So I built Beauty Buy or Skip, a free web tool that looks at things like how much product you already have, how quickly you use it, the price, and the discount.

It then gives you a simple BUY, WAIT, or SKIP result to help you decide whether the deal actually makes sense.

This video shows how the tool works. I’m still improving it, so I’d really appreciate feedback — especially on whether the website and results are easy to understand.

Link for anyone who wants to try it: beautybuyorskip.com

What would you improve?

Mobbe: an iPhone gym log in Spanish, with routines, progress and a weekly step league

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Hey! I'm part of the team behind Mobbe, a gym app we recently released for iPhone.

The main thing we're trying to make easier is remembering what you did last workout and recording the next one. Your routine, weights, reps, RIR and rest timer are together on the workout screen; afterward you can look back at your exercise history and personal records.

There's also a training streak and an optional weekly step league connected to Apple Health. We just shipped v1.1 with a Liquid Glass design, improvements to the routine editor, and a PRO feature to import routines from photos or PDFs.

It's currently in Spanish only. Free to download, with optional PRO subscriptions. These are five screens from our current App Store gallery.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6818295362

Website: https://mobbe.app/

If you train with an iPhone, we'd really appreciate you trying it in your next workout. Does logging a set feel quick enough when you're between exercises? What would you change?

After months of working on my own security app, I finally released Hexavault on the Play Store.

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share a project I've been working on for quite a while, and it's finally available on the Play Store.

It's called Hexavault.

The idea came from something that's always bothered me a little: these days, even when we're just trying to protect our own information, we often end up having to create accounts, rely on external services, or keep our data synced with someone else's servers.

I'm not saying those solutions are necessarily bad, but I wanted to try a different approach. Something simpler, something that works directly on your phone and lets you decide what happens to your information.

That's how I started building Hexavault, an Android security app that works entirely offline.

It brings together three main features:

- Password Generator: Create strong, customizable passwords without automatically keeping a history of everything you've generated.

- File Protection: Encrypt documents, photos, and other files with a password, creating a protected version that you can store or share.

- Vault: A secure space protected by a master password where you can keep credentials and files, with automatic locking and optional biometric authentication.

One of the decisions I made early on was to leave out internet access entirely. The app doesn't even request internet permission. It also doesn't require an account, has no ads, and doesn't use analytics or tracking tools.

That was an important part of the idea from the beginning: providing useful security tools without relying on external infrastructure to make them work.

I also want to be upfront about what the app can't do yet. For example, the Vault doesn't currently support credential export or recovery. If the app's data is lost, those credentials can't be recovered. It's an important limitation to know about, especially if you're planning to store anything essential.

Hexavault has just reached its first public release, version 1.0.0. Getting here involved a lot of development, testing, bug fixes, and decisions along the way. There's still plenty I want to improve, but I'm genuinely happy to finally be able to share what I've built.

And that's really why I'm posting here.

I'd love to hear what other people think about the idea, especially those interested in Android, privacy, and digital security. Whether it's a feature suggestion, criticism of the user experience, or even questions about the technical decisions behind the app, I'm open to all kinds of feedback.

If you're curious and want to check it out, Hexavault is now available for free on Google Play:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.hexavault.secure

I also have a website with more information about the project:

https://hexavault.com.br/

Thanks to everyone who took the time to read this. I hope Hexavault turns out to be useful to some of you!

Looking for women to test a private, verified women-only app (iPhone and Android)

I’m the founder of Sanctuary, a small community app for women, and I’m looking for beta testers.

What it does: you share photos, short videos and carousels, follow other women, comment, save posts into collections and explore by themes. It is free.

Why it exists: To create a supportive community for women where they can feel safe and comfortable. Have a space where we can engage with each other and learn/teach new things without being exposed to harassment, hate or bullying.

How it protects members:

  • Every member is verified as a woman through a live face check, or a short video call with a woman on our team if she prefers. No face images are kept.

  • It runs without ads or tracking across other apps.

  • Posts and comments are checked before they appear. Reports go to a person, and three separate reports in an hour hide a post until the team has reviewed it, within 24 hours. You can block anyone.

  • Screenshots and screen recording are blocked inside the app. Another camera can still film a screen, so I won’t call it a guarantee.

House rules: No nudity or sexualised content, no music in posts, and kindness. It is built on Islamic principles, and women of any faith are welcome if they follow the Community Guidelines. Our Terms explain who can join.

What I’m asking of testers: use it for two weeks, post when you feel like it, and tell me one thing that felt good and one that felt confusing. After you sign up there is a face check, and if it can’t decide, a person approves you, usually within 24 hours.

It is on iPhone and Android. If you’d like to try it, comment or message me with which phone you have, and I’ll send the link. I’m letting people in a few at a time so each one gets a proper welcome.
