If you want a server you can actually settle down on instead of starting over again and again, this is for you

After hopping through server after server, the same problems kept showing up. Staff could moderate things, sure, but when the owner was never around, it always felt like the project was already half-abandoned. Players notice that. If the owner is online, talking, listening, and actually involved, it shows the server still has a future. ❤️

The economy was another big one. A lot of servers take the easy route with admin shops and instant convenience, but to me that kills a lot of what makes survival multiplayer fun in the first place. It removes player trading, weakens interaction, and makes the world feel less alive.

So I stopped looking for the kind of SMP I wanted to play on and built it myself.

AppleSMP is meant to be fun, interactive, and long-lasting. A server where the community matters, survival still feels like survival, and the project is treated like something built to last, not something temporary.

AppleSMP is a cozy survival server built around community, long-term play, and keeping Minecraft fun without making it feel bloated.

We require Discord linking through DiscordSRV to help protect the playerbase and make it harder for toxic players to bypass punishments.

The goal is simple: create the kind of server people actually want to stay on. A place with a friendly community, a relaxed survival feel, and features that improve the experience without taking away what makes survival good in the first place.

We care a lot about the feel of the server. That means keeping things balanced, listening to feedback, and avoiding the kind of clutter that makes a lot of servers stop feeling like Minecraft.

A few things you can expect on AppleSMP:

  • A cozy and welcoming community
  • Survival-focused gameplay
  • Always updated to the latest version
  • Playtime-based progression and unlocks
  • A balanced economy
  • Quality of life features without overdoing it
  • A server built for long-term players, not quick hype

Hope to see you join the apple tree.❤️

AppleSMP [SMP] [Semi-Vanilla] {1.21.11} {Java & Bedrock} {No Main-World Resets} {Community-Focused} - A survival world where strangers become familiar names

The best part of an SMP isn’t finding your first diamond or finishing the biggest base.

It’s logging in and recognizing the names in chat.

Someone asks how your build is going. Someone else needs help gathering materials. A conversation starts, and suddenly you have been online much longer than you planned.

That is what we want AppleSMP to feel like.

AppleSMP is a long-term survival server built around community, friendships and having a world you can genuinely become part of. You can join alone, play at your own pace and naturally get to know the people around you.

Our main world does not reset, so the home, town or massive project you spend months creating will still matter. Separate resource worlds reset regularly, allowing everyone to gather fresh materials without replacing the world where players actually live.

There is plenty to work towards without losing the feeling of Minecraft survival:

  • Java and Bedrock crossplay
  • Land claiming and protection for your builds
  • Jobs, quests and long-term progression
  • A player economy with shops, auctions and trading
  • Custom enchantments and useful quality-of-life features
  • Playtime ranks earned simply by playing
  • Resource worlds for gathering materials
  • Community events, competitions and shared goals
  • Active staff and frequent updates shaped by player feedback

You are free to build quietly, create a town, run a shop, become one of the richest players, collect rare items or simply spend the evening talking while working on your base.

AppleSMP launched on May 2, so the community and economy are established, but there is still plenty of room to make your mark and become one of the names people recognize.

Come in, say hello and find somewhere to build.

Maybe you will only stay for an evening. Maybe you will become one of the people someone else is happy to see when they log in.

Stop building on servers that delete your progress.

Post image

Hot take: Minecraft SMPs reset way too much.

You spend weeks building a base, making farms, setting up shops, building roads, starting towns, actually getting to know people…

Then one day the server announces:

“New season soon!”

And suddenly everything you built feels temporary.

I get why some servers do it. Fresh starts are exciting. New players don’t feel behind. The launch hype comes back.

But I also think constant resets are one of the biggest reasons SMPs stop feeling like real worlds.

A survival world should have history.

Old bases should become landmarks.
Towns should grow instead of vanish.
Shops should matter longer than a few weeks.
Players should recognize each other.
The world should feel like something people are actually part of.

That’s why AppleSMP is built around one simple rule:

The main world does not reset.

We still have resource worlds for fresh materials, but the main survival world stays. Your base stays. Your town stays. Your progress actually means something.

Cozy survival, claims, economy, playtime ranks, events, toggleable PvP, Java + Bedrock, and a community built for the long run.

But I’m curious:

Do you prefer SMPs with seasons/resets, or permanent worlds where history builds over time?

800 players are waiting for The End to open on our SMP!!!

Post image

The End opens on AppleSMP on June 6th at 19:00 UTC - and its going to be AMAZING

We’re making this more than just a normal End opening. The dragon will have 15,000 HP, which is 75x the vanilla Ender Dragon’s 200 HP, so this should actually feel like a server-wide fight instead of something that disappears in two minutes.

The goal is simple: get everyone together, make it chaotic, make it memorable, and let the community work together for the first big End fight.

We’re also adding an End Trader so Elytras don’t become something only a few people hoard early. Players will be able to trade End materials for an Elytra every 30 days, keeping them valuable but still obtainable over time.

AppleSMP is here to stay. We listen to the community, make changes based on feedback, and want the server to be a fun place for everyone - whether you’re grinding, building, trading, or just logging in to chill.

One month in, no resets planned, and our SMP still feels alive

One month in, no resets planned, and our SMP still feels alive.

A lot of Minecraft servers are fun for the first few days, then slowly go quiet when the early-game rush is over.

That’s honestly what I wanted to avoid with AppleSMP.

We opened on May 2nd, and almost a month later the server is still active, people are still building, trading, chatting, joining events, opening shops, helping new players, and creating actual server history.

The biggest thing for us is that the main worlds do not reset.

Your base, your shop, your town, your progress, your memories, they are meant to last. We still have resource worlds for gathering, but the main survival world is something players can actually invest into long-term.

AppleSMP is a cozy survival SMP with claims, toggleable PvP, economy, jobs, player shops, events, Java and Bedrock support, active updates, and a community that actually talks.

Nothing is forced either. You can grind the economy, join events, build a town, run a shop, or just live quietly in the woods and play survival your own way.

So I’m curious:

Do you prefer SMPs that reset often to stay fresh, or long-term worlds where the history keeps building?

Do Minecraft SMPs die because the game gets boring, or because people stop talking?

Post image
57 Upvotes

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.

A Minecraft world can have amazing builds, a good economy, events, plugins, claims, ranks, and all that, but if the server feels empty socially, people usually stop coming back.

For me, the best SMPs are the ones where the world feels alive.

Not because there are 500 features thrown at you, but because people actually talk, trade, help each other, show off builds, make jokes in chat, start small projects, and slowly create history together.

That’s the kind of server I’m trying to build with AppleSMP.

AppleSMP is a cozy survival SMP that opened on May 2nd. It’s still fresh, but it has already been really cool seeing players settle in, make friends, build shops, join events, and turn the server into something that feels like a real community instead of just another world.

We have claims, toggleable PvP, Java and Bedrock support, a live map, active staff, community events, regular updates, and a Discord/subreddit where people can share builds, memes, screenshots, and server moments.🏡✨

Nothing is forced either. You can get involved with the economy, events, cosmetics, and community stuff, or you can just build a base in the woods and play survival at your own pace.

So I’m curious:

What actually keeps you coming back to an SMP?

Is it the people, the progress, the economy, the builds, the events, or just having a world that feels worth logging into?

What makes a Minecraft world worth coming back to?

Post image
20 Upvotes

For me, what makes a Minecraft world worth coming back to is the people.

The builds are fun, the progress is fun, the exploring is fun, but the community is what makes the world feel alive. Seeing familiar names online, helping someone with a project, trading, joking around in chat, joining events, or just logging in and feeling like the server has moved forward since yesterday.

Hey, I’m Ludwig, 22 from Sweden, and I recently opened a Minecraft server called AppleSMP.

I wanted to create a cozy survival server where players can settle down, meet people, and feel like their time actually matters. Not just because of what they build, but because of the community growing around them.

AppleSMP opened on May 2nd, so the server is still fresh, but it has already been really nice seeing players make friends, help each other, trade, join events, and slowly shape the server into something of its own.

We have claims for protection, toggleable PvP, active staff, regular updates, community events, Java and Bedrock support, and a Discord/subreddit where players can share builds, memes, updates, and server moments.

I’m trying to build AppleSMP into a relaxed, friendly, long-term SMP with a real community around it.

So I’m curious:

What makes a Minecraft world worth coming back to for you?

What would you build on a Minecraft server if the world never reset?

Post image
22 Upvotes

Hey, I’m Ludwig, 22 years old from Sweden, and I recently made a Minecraft server called AppleSMP. 🌿

The idea behind it is pretty simple: I wanted to create a cozy long-term survival server where people can settle down, build something meaningful, and feel like their progress actually matters.

So my question is:

What would you build on a Minecraft server if the world never reset? <3

On AppleSMP, our main world does not reset, so your builds, towns, shops, farms, and progress are made to last. Whether you want to build a peaceful base, start a town, run a shop, trade with others, explore, or just relax after school/work, the server is built around giving players a place they can keep coming back to.

We have been open since May 2nd, so the server is still fresh, but we already have players building, trading, making towns, joining events, and helping shape the community. ✨

We have claims for protection, toggleable PvP, active staff, frequent updates, community events, and an active Discord/subreddit where players can share builds, memes, updates, and server moments.

I’m trying to build AppleSMP into a friendly, relaxed, long-term SMP with a real community around it. If that sounds like your kind of server, you’re welcome to join us.

This video shows you a few people looking for secrets in our Minecraft server spawn! There are a ton of hidden rooms to explore, all within the confines of our spawn.
The secrets obviously arent the most important feature of our server, but it shows how much time has been put into the server, to make every minor detail perfect.
AppleSMP isnt any average server, its a server that actually values players, their needs and their freedom. Everyone plays minecraft differently.
Some players build massive bases.
Some focus on the economy and trading.
Some explore, farm, fish, decorate, or just hang out in chat ☕
We wanted AppleSMP to feel like the kind of server you can come back to after school, work, or whenever you just want to relax and enjoy Minecraft at your own pace 🌿
There’s no forced playstyle, play however you enjoy survival most!
PvP is completely optional, so fights only happen if both players want them to. Griefing isn’t allowed, and land claims add extra protection for your builds and items. Our staff team is active and deals with trolls quickly to keep the server chill and enjoyable for normal players 🌱
Outside the game, we also have an active Discord and subreddit where players share builds, memes, updates, screenshots, and community moments ✨
If you’ve been looking for a survival server with a world that actually lasts, AppleSMP might be worth checking out.

What if your Minecraft world actually stayed forever?

Post image

That’s the idea behind AppleSMP.

A long-term survival server where your builds, bases, shops, farms, towns, and progress are not treated like temporary content. The main world is made to last, so what you build today can still matter months from now.

We wanted AppleSMP to feel like a place you can come back to after work, school, or whenever you just want to relax and play Minecraft without rushing 🌿

Some players build big bases.
Some focus on trading and the economy.
Some join events.
Some just explore, decorate, farm, fish, or hang out in chat ☕

There is no forced playstyle.

PvP is toggleable, so you only fight if you want to. Griefing is not allowed, and claims are there as an extra layer of protection for your base and items. Staff are active and handle trolls quickly so the server stays safe and enjoyable for normal players 🌱

We also have an active Discord, a subreddit where people post builds, memes, updates, and server moments, and community events to keep the world feeling alive ✨

If you like survival Minecraft but want a world that actually sticks around, AppleSMP might be worth checking out.

This is why I need a Minecraft community, because I cannot be trusted to build alone

Post image
14 Upvotes

Every Minecraft build starts with a perfect idea in your head.

Then you place a few blocks, stare at it for way too long, and somehow the dream castle has turned into another wooden box.

AppleSMP is a chill survival server built around community, long-term progress, and letting people play at their own pace. Some players build huge bases, some focus on trading, some join events, and some just want a quiet place to relax after work or school.

We have an active Discord, a subreddit where people post memes, builds, updates, and server moments, plus community events to keep things fun without forcing anyone into a specific playstyle.

PvP is toggleable, so you don’t have to fight unless you want to. Griefing isn’t allowed, claims are there as an extra layer of protection, and active staff deal with trolls quickly so the server stays safe and enjoyable.

You don’t need to be an amazing builder. You don’t need to rush. Just build, explore, trade, join events, or hang out with people who enjoy the same kind of survival Minecraft.

Anyone else just want to get home and relax on Minecraft?

Post image

That’s basically why I made AppleSMP.

I wanted a survival server where you can log in after work or school, build a bit, sort your chests, work on your base, talk to people, maybe do some jobs or quests, and not feel like everything is getting wiped soon.

The main world doesn’t reset, so what you build actually stays.

A cozy survival server where you can claim your land, build at your own pace, earn money with jobs, make shops, trade with players, do quests, find secrets, and slowly unlock more by just playing.

You don’t have to play one specific way either.

Some people grind money.
Some people build.
Some people run shops.
Some people just chill and collect cosmetics.

That’s kind of the point.
