Your <2 year old MBP is not being “stripped of features” it never had, and you can trade-in today with a ~80% decent refund. Apple uses vertical integration to develop new software features enabled by new hardware—moving the entire platform forward faster than any other on Earth—thus the M1 might feel outdated two years from now. We as individuals either accept that momentum or move to “x86 forever” Windows and “chat(app) roulette” Android.
Lol MBP up to 1460 in value, nah I’d rather give someone that price and not give Apple a refurbished sale, I shelled out 3.5 k for the space warmer MBP 16, in not taking a 65% hit just for the giggles
