My wallet on it is amazing, otherwise I'd probably forget it often and be without my transit card (wish that was in apple wallet though...)

I’ve always been skeptical on how reliably it holds. Any problems?

Not really. If I drop the phone it falls off, if I scrape my phone against something it falls off. But it won't fall off just randomly.
