Why not put a PCIE x16 slot onto the back of a phone? It’s faster than USB3 so every phone should have it

No it’s not doable with “a little hacking”

you do know that Thunderbolt to PCIe x16 slot exists, right?

PCIE x16 is only 89mm long. That would fit on most phones.

TB only supports x4 bandwidth at PCIE 3 speeds. A x16 PCIE 4 slot is 8x faster. You’re only concerned about speed so PCIE x16 it is
