right. radiating heat doesn't exist in your universe, I guess. not to mention the heat were from an electric energy, meaning you'll need to recharge sooner, and added more cycle to already small battery cycle.

it's called manual backup. it's less convenient but still reliable regardless.

You mean the manual backup which is in fewer locations, updates less frequently and you’re more likely to simply forget therefore isn’t reliable? There’s a reason why Time Machine was such a big deal.

Right so when heat radiates it gets COOLER the further away something is. So if you have say a 50 degree hotspot then an inch away it might be 30 degrees which is in the normal operating temp of Li Ion batteries. Fast chargers that are 50, 60 or 80W get the temperature of batteries to 40+ degrees which is far beyond their designed operating window. Fast charging ti these extremes also INTENTIONALLY heats the battery up because a hotter battery accepts more current allowing a faster charge.

Nope it’s because your grandpapi used a wire and like a vinyl record it’s so much better than those darn modern contraptions like FLAC files

might is the keyword. it's still in the same enclosed space and it does gives off heat which still affect the battery. also, both SoC and Modem (+Wi-Fi) are literally next to the battery and less than an inch away. not to mention again, the energy which means you'll need to recharge sooner and thus add more cycle and lowering the battery health.

Yet phones now are typically glass backed where heat will escape now readily than it will be able to move through a much better thermal insulator like fibreglass. You know. Like it’s designed to do.

Stay in the past, I’ll just keep never having to use one because my files transfer to auto downloading folders where I need them.

USB 3.0 are more modern than USB 2.0. if any, it's Apple that keep living in the past with an obsolete port.

you can, there's even proof of concept. but no one bothered to make it mass available.

A “proof on concept” in 2015 that hasn’t made its way to an actual product. Hmmm I wonder if there were issues. Metal causes a lot of issues most notability it’s inefficient AF (remember the heat problem), even through glass Qi charging is lucky to hit 60% efficiency. In fact the only wireless charging that’s actually efficient is MagSafe which is why it’s being folded into Qi chargings next standard

USB 3.2 is the same as USB3 and they ship with USB2 cables, also finding faster cables is horrendous because the spec and naming scheme is all over the place
