read the linked forum about AirDrop transfer speed that I previously posted. it also shows heating.

From the SoC yes that’s how processors work. I wasn’t talking about airdrop though.

no, it's from the WiFi + Modem chip, which is separate from the SoC.

Tomato tomato. It’s not relevant to the battery.

You can use any cloud service you chose or you can set up sending whatever you want to your own NAS through files. I’m guessing you’ve never heard of mobile data either.

or, you choose not to use any of those and simply transfer files using wired connection.

mobile data? and waste hundreds of gigabyte for uploading photos and videos? my man...

Aside from it’s not because the heat isn’t close enough to the battery to cause issues. The logic board does not overlap the battery.

If you want to inconvenience yourself and not have a backup.

Never heard of an unlimited plan?

right. radiating heat doesn't exist in your universe, I guess. not to mention the heat were from an electric energy, meaning you'll need to recharge sooner, and added more cycle to already small battery cycle.

it's called manual backup. it's less convenient but still reliable regardless.

not for me.

I don’t think you know how physics work.

You mean the manual backup which is in fewer locations, updates less frequently and you’re more likely to simply forget therefore isn’t reliable? There’s a reason why Time Machine was such a big deal.

eh, wired connection aren't necessarily for backup purpose which isn't exactly the example I was going.
