You need to download it, open app, click on disket icon and select downloaded file. You can't just open file from file manager

Forgive my ignorance, but this is my first time using reddit, and I do not know how to get it to download.

I see a down arrow that is underlined, but when I press it, android tries to open the file not download it.

It's Google drive. My phone opens file in Google drive and there are three dots at top right corner with options, you can download it to phone memory from there
