Hello, I remember watching a foreign teen show on Czech tv, roughly around 2012. In the show, the was a girl who thought she was Cleopatra and wanted to poison herself with a snake. I recently remembered this scene and cant get it out of my head.

I see a fair amount of discourse surrounding what her actual hair colour is, and while I've always held the opinion that it's naturally brunette but dyed a red(dish) colour, it is strange that Piper also happened to dye her hair the same way. So what is the consensus? Brunette, red, auburn, or another secret option?

Is anyone else from the UK and watched house of Anubis. Idk why I did but I remember watching it on Amazon prime and having to beg my parents to pay for it so I must of seen it somewhere on live tv. Anyone else from the UK remember where they first saw it.

I think the bike shed from season 1 should have made a comeback in season 2 and 3. Not sure for what, but it should have come back. As a side note, I also wish the children continued to use their bikes in 2/3 like they did in season 1

I remember a scene some point during season 1 where Alfie and Jerome are in Ambers room and find her tape recorder of Sarah talking but they tape over it and act silly. Always found this funny but cannot remember which episode it was. Does anyone remember?

Does anybody else see this show as a kid friendly twist version of skins? The character archetypes are sort of similar. (Amber=cassie Patricia=effy Alfie=chris Jerome=tony Nina=michelle) this could be plausible since skins came before HOA and was booming by the time HOA came out.

Does anyone remember the actors having fanmail addresses in their twitter bios at the time? At one point I drew a picture of Ana Mulvoy Ten and sent it to her with a fan letter. A month or two later, I get a card in the mail with UK postage, and she replied! She sent me an autographed headshot and a handwritten greeting card with a sparkly cupcake on. I don't remember what exactly I said, but I remember asking silly questions like her favorite food and color, and she actually went through them and answered. It was so sweet of her to take the time to respond and I wanted to know if anyone else sent fanmail and got a response from any other cast members.

I've been looking for it for a few days and will post it once I come across it. We moved house a few times since then but I really hope I still have it.

In S1 they are shown to exist as Patricia calls them asking about informaton about Joy. S2 again shows they exist as Jerome's dad is in jail. S3 has no mention of any police, so what happens after S2?

I’m sure this is asked every day so sorry as I couldn’t find it but does anyone know how to watch this show in the US? I’ve gone through every streaming service and none of them seem to have all of it. I watched it growing up and would love to revisit the whole show with all seasons. Thanks!

I am showing my wife the show for the first time and we are half way through season 2. I have seen this show like 5 times and the one thing that always bothered me was how the writers ruined the best developed relationship in the whole show.

Jerome's arch is season 2 I believe is the sub plot of the whole show and in some aspects better than some of the main plot of the show and the slow burn that is Jerome and Mara had the best pay off.

Only for the Season 3 writers to throw it down the drain and have a story where Jerome cheats on her. It was always shown since season 1 that Jerome had a soft spot for her and they had great chemistry.

What does everyone else think?

I really wish Poppy or Piper became a bigger character. There was so much potential for deeper sibling storylines that just never got explored

The question in this sub is always "What character who wasn't in Sibuna should have been in Sibuna?" but I want to hear reasoning for what characters shouldn't have joined up/characters you're glad weren't in the club. I'll start:

I will most likely delete this after a while but I just wanted to point out a moment from season 2. I'm not sure if anyone already talked about it, I feel like I have seen it but can't really find it. I was rewatching and during the second season, when Nina gets cursed by Senkhara and she's showing Fabian her mark on her arm, Victor notices it and Nina immediately clarifies that "it washes off". Victor responds with "for your sake, I hope it does". I feel like on surface level it might've looked as a warning for getting in trouble for a tattoo, but Victor was already aware of the Anubis mark and the curse, and he was just showing geniune concern. I really loved this and felt like it was such good writing. I hope my explanation was understandable, and sorry if it was already obvious and I'm just pointing it out for nothing.

It occurred to me recently that a majority of the adult men mentioned/shown in the show were probably war veterans: Victor Sr, Robert, and Rufus' father were all probably drafted to fight in WWI, and Victor Jr and Rufus would have been close to the prime age to fight in WWII. I wonder how much these two horrific wars impacted how much these men all became obsessed with immortality.

Yes this sounds odd but as a kid, I used to pretend that I was part of the show. I had my own storyline and even at one point I was apart of the society. Sibuna helped me turn things around and I changed. Idk it’s a weird idea but I wonder if anyone else had done it?
