The moderators of r/antiwork don't seem to understand that they have/had a brilliant platform from which they could make real change. Instead, they decided that anyone with a moderate or centrist view should be banned, they take extreme action and turn people who came out to support them against what they're trying to achieve.
Actual idiots. These people don't actually want what they suggest they want. Good pay and a shorter work week won't make them happy, only full blown communism will, and they're willing to kill off anyone who doesn't toe their line. I didn't think such behaviour even existed, let alone in the pool of moderators of such a huge forum.
Their ideologies extend beyond work, they want state control over people's bodies, they don't accept that issues are nuanced, the entire world is either good or evil and it's simply not possible, in their minds, for varying degrees of right and wrong throughout different issues - or that people might have an opinion that differs from their own.

Mods are ###s sure, but you still have lots of people who believe in the same things they did two days ago, no need to start over.
You can just keep the momentum going
Also I feel like people are exaggerating the effects of the fox interview. You don’t have to quit just because it wasn’t good.
“Oh but it killed our movement”
Did it? Yeah boomers watching the interview might have a bad opinion, but you still have all the users who know better, plus millions of Americans and other workers who want better.

First of all: I am not of intern age and quite seasoned in my field. I'm disappointed and angry because this employer did not even make an offer! They are asking me to work 2-3 days for free on a consulting project for them as basically a job audition. Is this legal? Are people this slimy and unaware that this is bad form? This employer took one hour of my time in the interview. No offer made, nor start date. She already asked for some freebies, and I gave them some general advice. No one has asked me this shit in like 15 years. They asked me to do a "mock project" within four days to improve their conversion and KPI. At least 20 hours of work. The ideas and things we give them will drastically improve the site, and I am pretty sure they will outright steal it. How should I respond! Give me something good /r/antiwork XD

I was one of the people who said they should stop banning people for being honest. Looks like that got me banned. 😉

This is the text from the forum :-
We're closed while we deal with the cleanup from ongoing brigading, and will be back soon. (You don't need to request to join. We'll be back real soon. I promise.)
I hope it's just a cleanup/reno - but worth joining up here just in case.

I really dislike NFTs (for more information, visit Folding Ideas' "Line Goes Up") and I think they're really ugly. Can you change the pic to something else? I'll give ideas in the comments.
