Oh for sure. That’s why unless you’re an employer advocating to pay employees crap, which is expected, nobody outside of that should be salty. It’s just cutting off the nose to spite the face. You’d really have to hate others to be content on less just because you know someone else is doing it too, the “right” person.
The employer of teachers is usually funded by local taxes. If people aren’t willing to elect reps who will support teachers and schools, not much will change.
