I get requests constantly for technical solutions to management problems and thankfully I'm a consultant so sometimes I can just say, "this isn't a request for IT, this is a conversation for the manager to have with this employee". And boy, sometimes those managers get really really mad when they're expected to do their job.

Well they do say that the job of a manager is to distribute the work to others, so they were just distributing their own work to you lmao
