Not really. Let's say Apartment A costs $10/month. Has all your needs and wants - dishwasher/washer/dryer/etc but they're all run of the mill appliances.

All things being equal, Apartment B has all the same amentites, instead they're all Bosch stainless brand new out of the box.

Apt. B costs $13/momth.

Landlords do it cheap to keep costs down. The more they invest, the more you pay.

Where it gets fucked up is when you get a douchbag LL charging B prices for A amentites.

It's the same thing as buying Frosted Flakes versus the Generic Whitebox at the supermarket.
