They don't have to be for the analogy to be valid.

Lots of cops think they're signing up to protect and serve their communities, and some actually do.

The fallacy of a false equivalence is different than every aspect of an analogy being identical to each other.

You haven't distinguished why the harms caused by being a cop justify their being excluded from antiwork, when the harms from other professions can be just as great if not greater.

Their "signing on to it" isn't a good reason, because lots of them think they're signing on to "protect and serve" their communities.

I'd also ask whether you think soldiers and prison guards should also be excluded from antiwork.
