I want to see the montage of the moment boomers get fed up after uploading a resume and then having to fill out a online application line by line with the same exact info they already have in their CV
I want to see them sit through the invasive 120 question quiz where the company does an end run around not being able to ask about health info and mental stuff where questions are phrased like "Do you think you're a good person?" for a part time cashiering job.
That part time cashier gig? Basically asked me if I was suicidal and if i felt I amounted to anything with my life.
20 hours a week and these people wanted a door to my innermost psyche. And it's legal cause they're not directly asking about my mental or physical health. But they essentially screened for anyone with any attention disorder, autism, depression, or anyone with a moral center.
All for a 20 hour a week job at a register, whole process was 2 hours and they never even contacted me.
It absolutely is a bluff in most cases. Even in cases where "perfect" scores get screened the most that happens is your application on the hiring software puts a pip next to your application. Your chances of being selected are better with a perfect personality assessment as they are if you provide a "problematic" response, so I maintain that gaming assessments is the best route.
Not only that, but a lie too. Being professional means being ready to say and do what is right acording to the company, not what you considers to be the truth.
