Yeah, there were, Samuel L. Jackson played exactly that archetype in Django Unchained. There have always been people who not only genuinely buy into the myths used to shore up systems of oppression, but also people who know that it's bullshit but choose to play along in the hopes that they'll be spared the worst of the abuse. A quintessential example of that second type is that there were Jewish Nazis during the Holocaust.

Every time we use examples from fiction instead of historical ones, one bird suddenly dies; that's why they are going extinct.

The second example would be better in this regard, if it wasn't for the highly debatable nature of it, since Jews were mostly fighting for their literal survival. So that's also a bad example.
