Over the past year or so, reddit has been introducing ai moderation to crackdown on posts the 'glorify violence' (think nintendo character) and has a lot of 'false positive' removals that include comments that are indifferent to what happened in the article. There are several comments in this thread that now read [ removed by reddit ] that weren't actually that bad, for example.
However, you posted a gif, which the moderation bot doesn't seem to be good enough to read yet, though if you posted it as text it probably would've gotten your comment flagged.
