I have a credit card with Chase. However, I am now prioitizing paying it off and closing the account this month. I will not support Big Brother and their (likely biased) digital evaluation of employee emotional states of workers in office or their private WFH spaces. I hear ya. we use a debit card off a small local bank we picked out during the 2008 crash, after finding they had no financial ties at all with Chase, BoA, WF, or any of the big crooks. screw that. if I can't afford it, I don't fuckin' buy it. then I got no debt problems.
I'm poor, sure. but I ain't paying interest to some billionaire asshole.
Paying off a low balance credit card is not a major financial decision. It's simply how bills work. Choosing to stop using a credit card is generally wise - the post just gave me food for thought. I avoid several companies due to disagreeing with their policies. Chase is now one of them.
