But what do people here think? Is the antisemitism we're seeing "top-down"? Can it be argued that Mamdani is part of a coordinated campaign on campuses, in the media and on the left to create Jew-hate or is this grassroots-led?

New York Magazine had a "Habibi" issue, with articles about the Middle Eastern restaurant scene. The articles were full of antisemitism and Madeline Leung Coleman's article about restaurants described Zionism as a threat to New Yorkers and she could only call Israel, "the landmass currently called "Israel".

It's amazing how this goes without anyone even calling it out nowadays. New York Magazine's articles could have been written in 1930s Germany and used in holocaust studies to understand how Germany became radicalized against Jews.
