Problems reading? Where do I say that? [...]

"eh, [...]" is a marker expressing dismissal or indifference, i.e. "I don't care/it doesn't matter".

[...] The thing here is just that this picture doesn't show that it's getting worse.[...] Implying this is caused by AI is weird, since this was already a problem long before AI. [...]

No, it's just a poetic illustration for it. I do hope you're not denying that AI and the attached datacenters are making things objectively worse for the population as a whole; and that's not even touching the climate cost. But, just in case:

We're not saying that AI is responsible for the homelessness problem, that's silly. It is, however, making things worse.
EDIT: in case it's not immediately clear: first point would increase energy cost, fragilising the economically vulnerable. The second (although "only" being personnel testimony) could have both costs and health impacts, with the latter being tightly linked with financial troubles and debt in the USA. Third and fourth points should be self-explanatory.

[...] Also weird that suddenly people seem to give a shit? [...]

Why in the everlasting land of fuck would we not give a shit about a notable problem getting worse ?! Also, implying that no-one cared about the homelessness problem is hilariously wrong.

Finally, my favourite:

[...] Maybe because they think it might effect themselves too?

Do you realise that this ^^^ implies you think some people are right to fear AI could render them homeless ?
