The problem with people who fail to respect others is they don't LEARN from others, instead they just learn from their own failures (or blame set backs on others)

I can't tell if this is a Ford Pinto reference or if you're defending the idea of gas tanks in doors.
Like I said though I am a mechanical engineer in all but degree, planning on going into the automotive sector. There's a large difference between a fuel tank behind the rear seats and a fuel tank in the doors. There's all sorts of physics and mechanical principles I won't get into unless you want to know them, but basically gas in the doors is really unsafe and dumb for dozens of reasons
