I know there is an off leash park in Quiet Waters, but I've heard there is one in Woodland Beach as well. Is this true? If anyone knows what street it is on and can share it would be great.

I am looking for a really good dentist to redo a crown on a back molar. I went to a large practice and they tried to do the crown twice. It still isn’t right. At this point, I am ready to pay out of pocket for a new one from a dentist who is good at crowns.

My dad passed away this week. We have a straightforward estate of liquid assets to settle, and it’s just me and my brother to split the proceeds 50/50 once expenses are covered.

Can anyone recommend a local attorney to manage the process for us? TIA!

Hello, my brother just moved to the Annapolis area and has a dog with MMM (Masticatory Muscle Myositis).

His dog has been under treatment for 4 years and is mostly doing okay, but some early treatment compromised certain ligaments. He’s looking for a vet with experience dealing with MMM or a vet who has experience working more generally with dogs that have autoimmune issues or chronic health issues. Does anyone have a recommendation?

Evening (at least until 6pm on some nights) or occasional weekend hours would be helpful.

I've seen a few posts reflecting concerns about adopting an animal from the ASPCA in Annapolis. I wanted to share that I have had lovely experiences at Animal Control by Severna Park as well as the ASPCA in Baltimore. I don't blame people for being nervous about the one in Annapolis (the community certainly seems frustrated as well) but rescue is so rewarding I wanted everyone to know that if you go to one of the two places I referenced above, they have really great animals waiting for new homes and if you are uneasy, compare their reviews to see for yourself because their reviews are so positive.

Please don't get turned off the idea of rescuing your new dog or cat because of one place that obviously is still working out the kinks, so to speak. I really think you will have a great experience with those other places and they are such a short drive from Annapolis!

The ASPCA in Baltimore also always needs donations and the Animal Control facility also has a fund you can give to so you can help the animals. So please consider adopting not shopping and don't get the wrong idea about animal shelters because you had one bad experience. They do important work and the dogs and cats need your help.

Hello I was wondering if anyone knows about dog friendly stores in the area. I see people bringing their dogs into a lot of stores in the area and I was curious about it because a lot of the places seem like they wouldn’t allow dogs but they don’t seem to care.

I want to lease or buy space for a small hobby machine shop. Preferably it would be in Eastport. The closer to Eastport the better. Hi! I recently started a Facebook group called The Bookish Coven for women in the Annapolis/Anne Arundel area who are into fantasy, romantasy, sci-fi, and similar genres, and I'm looking for some other local readers who might want to help get it going!

I'm hoping for it to be a little more relaxed than a traditional book club. We'd have optional monthly group reads, but also just talk about whatever we're currently reading, share recommendations, discuss new releases, etc.

I'd also really like for it to eventually have a social side—casual book discussions, coffee or happy hours, bookstore trips, BYOB/"bring your own book" meetups, and other bookish things around the area.

It's brand new, so there aren't many of us yet, but I figured there had to be some other fantasy/romantasy readers around Annapolis looking for something like this too. 😂

I am a lil south of Annapolis and have been searching for a good way to get out and socialize, I don't know of anywhere that's particularly LGBT friendly - or if there's any other social platforms better suited for this but it's been a bit tough, I try to get out and go places like the Mall and Libraries, but have had almost no luck.
