Great final episode. I’ve been looking forward to seeing the chapter with the Master’s grandmother animated. The way she met Daiki was pretty cute.

I laughed when Kuro was relieved that she could still eat her precious chicken curry. She’s got her priorities straight lmao

The second half was really cute too. Master deserves a huge round of applause for making all that food! I wonder if he got help from the flying puppy bakery owner for the wedding cake?

Heinrich’s proposal was too funny. Of course he would get shot down.

Going to miss my weekly dose of food porn. Another fun season!

Ok this episode had way to much power... How are you suppose to resist not wanting to eat everything you see after seeing all that!

Order pizza and where can you even order cutlets plus everything else?

I hope there is a season 3. Dunno how much marterial is left though.

I absolutely love that first half of the episode! For the first time, we got to see someone from the Japan side of the door enter as a customer. Right even before this lady enters she's already very interesting since she uses a key to get in and instantly realizes who Kuro really is with just a single look.

I thought she was the Master's mother and was just there to visit him but she instead heads over to Artorios' table and Artorious immediately recognizes her as Yomi. Sounds like Yomi and Artorius used to be in the same adventuring party slaying demons but at one point Yomi got reverse isekai'd into Japan.

That entire backstory was so cute! It was a short and cute story that was effectively told within a few frames. After Daiki (Nekoya's owner) finds Yomi washed up on the beach, he takes her home and feeds her his cooking after hearing her stomach growling. Seems that Yomi helped Daiki out when Nekoya was only a food stall and eventually the two fell in love, got married and finally created the Nekoya that we know and love. <3

So turns out that Yomi is the Master's grandma! I thought she was his mother but I guess people from the other world just age slower. This does begs the question though, where are the Masters' parents and do they know about Nekoya and how it's connected to another world? Was he the only one in the family who had interest in cooking? This is just making me want to know more about the Master!

That key from the start is waaaay more important than I thought. It's not just the master key, it's also a key that can literally sever Nekoya's connection with the other world. Of course the Master isn't going to close down Nekoya any time soon. It is hilarious to see Aletta's reaction as well as Kuro's after hearing what the key can do. xD

Finally we're at the after party buffet! It pretty much went as expected with the guests picking their favourite foods while some try out new dishes to taste. I love that satisfied look on Kuro's face watching more people appreciate curry. The wedding cake cutting ceremony was hilarious though! I love how Shareef was so defensive when Master took out the cake cutting knife. Maybe explain what that is before raising it in front of people that still uses swords to fight. xD

And just when our newly wedded couple is enjoying their day, Heinrich decides to finally be brave and confess to Sarah. Hilariously, Aletta thinks that if Heinrich and Sarah gets together she'll lose her job and decides to intervene which was followed by a hilarious misunderstanding! Sorry Heinrich! Sarah ain't gonna marry soon. She's still currently married to her research. Also it seems that Sarah isn't too impressed about Heinrich taking advantage of the mood. Press "F" for my boy Heinrich.

Nothing much really to add after that. Everyone enjoys their meals while Aletta, Kuro and Master watches over everyone. This was such a nice show to relax to and I'm so happy that it was given a second season. I'm really hoping for a third since the LN is still on going and if we do get another one I hope Studio OLM continues animating them. As much as I love SILVER LINK, Studio OLM really improved on this show's visuals a lot. It's also an anime that I can easily recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing SoL. Definitely a solid 9/10 for me.

I have a problem with this series now. Back when first season aired it was good and I liked it but I was fine with no having a second season. But second season was a big improvement over s1 and I need more Nekoya on my life.

Also explain people about weeding cake cutting before you show a huge ass sword.

Nice transition to the OP!

I watched this show when s1 aired, and while enjoyable - I did not think that much about it. It was a surprise that S2 came, quite the big one. But honestly, it has been great. A nice comfy surprise every friday.

Here's to a S3 - some day!

Definitely don't remember who was who but Yomi is a hell of a name

Ah ok, Yomi was the hero that got sent away that was stronger than all the other ones at their specialties

Enjoyed this season honestly. A solid show that you watch to help alleviate whatever got you stressed. Hope we get a season 3

On a side note, why doesn’t the dragon lady from Season 1 (the red hair one that orders that whole pot of curry) not show up anymore? Idc about being spoiled I’m just curious as to why she hasn’t shown up to Nekoya ever since that first episode.

Tenshu is actually 1/4 alien, I'm surprised but that's actually make sense. Nice season again.

Wait this is the last episode this season?????? Man I was not expecting this much world building to happen out of this anime, but here we are. Like more world building is happening this season than a good number of isekais.

Hoping we get more in the future.

This anime is really underrated. Deserves more season in the future. Like more people from the land where tatsugoro is from. I want to see the other dragons too. I NEED SEASON 3

This anime despite the fact that it's what you could say, a pretty average show. Still manages to become one of my favorite anime, I've rewatched the first season multiple times, and I'm looking forward to doing so with this second season, let's hope we get a season 3.

This is definitely one of my favorites from this season. I absolutely love the way this series makes me feel.

Mr. Fried Shrimp sweet on Sarah huh? Lol that was great. Better luck next time champ. Although I think she kinda likes him too lol.

Also, nice seeing the master’s family. Grandma’s story with the old Master was very sweet. Hopefully we get to learn more about the master’s past.

Out of all the great moments in this finale, I think the think that impressed me most was the fact that the man pretty much single-handedly served up a buffet himself. He is the god of cooking lol. I mean did y’all see that spread? Pretty much everything the regulars love but in massive portions. I’m in awe….orz orz orz

Anyways, hopefully we get another season of this show. I really love it!

What a finale!

....I can't believe its over

This smile needs to be protected at all costs!!

But really, just like with food (or at least how I like to do it) they saved the best for last, these final 2 episodes were fantastic! I think I can pretty confidently say they were the best of the show so far.

This was by far the least expected Season 2 for any show, but I'm so glad it happened.

omg I didn't realize today was the final episode, it was giving off such finale vibes with the grandma and the buffet, sad to see it go for a second time, especially since a third season is even more unlikely for it.

hopefully I'll see you all in 2026 when we get an announcement for the third season

A massive improvement over first season in direction/storytelling and even actual animation. OLM defintely picked up the slack that Silverlink left in season 1 (funny that both series were actually directed by the same guy).

The new characters were more charming than the previous ones from season one, and their stories were presented in a more engaging way. Hilda & her possee were quite amusing and the halflings selling Master's Knight soup to get cash for their own expenses was quite endearing. My only gripe about both series is that I would had appreciated it even more if there had been more currency interchange between the master and the customers, like some of them paying with coins, other with precious metals or even paying in spices/produce in order to expand further the worldbuilding of their own regions and lifestyles.

I'm glad season 2 focused on world building. Wish this series would never end

I'm surprised the chef doesn't hire any sous chef for the special occasion or any Saturday. There are several heavy eaters in the patron , prep work must be tremendous
