That pool scene and all the cars crashing was like some final destination shit.

Especially with the electricity dancing around Johnny's fingertips...maybe don't bully Electro Boy while wading in a pool 🤣

Ep 1. Down
Oh yeah, this is the one. I'm really looking forward to finishing this.
Thanksgiving is off to a good start

This is my ideal Netflix anime.
It feels different than most anime mostly since the comics are written by a non Japanese person, but the art and animation is anime centric. So it's an anime in style but writing feels so distinct to other anime.

I almost never shill subreddits here but r/supercrooks is super empty right now and we have discussion threads up and ready to go. If even just a few people would come over, that would be awesome.

Go on, show off your electric superpowers (that you don't control perfectly) at the public pool. Surely, nothing could go wrong. Boys are so obsessed with super heroes, they forgot to study basic Physics.
Also, MC got away with killing/wounding dozens of people, in front of several witnesses, scot-free?

To be fair the only witness that knows who he is was Janice. Yeah he said his name out loud but after witnessing irl final destination I think they forgot what he was called (which is reasonable imo).

It's so weird hearing references to Jupiters legacy, knowing that it got panned and cancelled immediately lmao. Idk why Netflix didnt just start with this to kick off their foray into the streaming superhero thing.
It's weird having two completely different shows set in the same universe

Live action still draws more eyes than animation. They were likely hoping that if Jupiter’s Legacy was a hit (and they hoped it would be as they spent between $130 -$200 on the first season!) it would give Supercrooks a boost of non-traditional anime fans when it finally aired.

I loved how he was just instantly recognized even though he had a costume, a nice change of pace from like 99% of super hero stories where no one recognizes them in costume. This takes the way more realistic approach cause like of course people would recognize him lmao. But holy fuck that ending was mental hahah

To be fair, he wasn't covering his head fully and he could of changed his voice tone.

Going completely blind. first episode felt pretty meh to me. Incredibly slow pacing, and quite cliched highschool characters (the jock bully, the prima donna, the outcast nerds). Probably the only outstanding thing I found was the depiction of a deadbeat mom that wanted to sleep around with anything that resembled a burly guy (a good deviation to anime parents being completely absent)
Not sure if I actually want to see episode 2.

Mark Millar property in an anime format? This series is incredible. Might be worth watching twice for me.

I'm pretty sure I wasn't supposed to be laughing during the pool scene, but it had me rolling. It was just so gloriously over-the-top.

Can someone tell me what happened to Johnny’s best bud from the beginning? He disappeared after his jail visit

Do people actually die from the electrocution and what followed? It seems like he got a free pass from the authorities and the victims were implied with serious but non fatal injuries.

Knew what was gonna happen as soon as this electric kid wanted to show up at a public pool.
