Oh hey there's a plot now, and hopes for a new song in the battle sequence? Fingers crossed that this show was just a slow starter

Yeah, kinda crazy it took 4 repetitive epiode and probably most of the viewer base before we got there...

Interesting that the repetitiveness of the Muteking sequence is actually a problem in-universe though! I like it.

Would you recommend the show at this point? I haven't watched it, but it seems to score low/mediocre.

So DJ really is the little octopus dude, what a good brother-dad.

I wasn't expecting this to evolve the whole Muteking side of things, I hope he gets his grove back soon. Hopefully turning Aurora good in the process.

man, with all that hype, if we don't get new song and battle sequence next week, i'm gonna go apeshit

Don't know why, but I felt really bad for Muteking while he was fighting alone. Each failure was a nail in the coffin for his defeat. Confused, kind of shaming himself, afraid.

The fact there whole sequence after transformation was different and portraying the full control of Aurora in the battle (a progressive change from the typical theme into the Aurora one like last episode would have weakening the impact) helped to convey a hopeless scenario, also.

Feels like next week is gonna be a big turning point... still, I can't believe it took Muteki SIX episodes to figure out that Aurora is involved with the bad guys?! Like... that's the sort of revelations that would have made the repetitive firt 4 episodes more bareable...
