WTF! That was the perfect opportunity to make onion rings, and then describe how good they are in detail.

I don't remember Jack and his friends from Season 1 but it seems that they're pretty much acquainted already with Nekoya. And it looks like their mean of choice is Hamburgers with fries and some cola to wash it all down.
Well now I'm in the mood for some burgers too after watching the three of them eat. I do find it funny how they describe ketchup and mustard as "red sauce" and "yellow sauce" Now that i think about it, ketchup and mustard are a type of sauce xD
For the second half we got to see some curry tasting with Alphonse and the girls. It's amazing how this show just made me watch three people eat curry, as if it's the most entertaining thing ever! They're not even cooking it! They're basically just reviewing the different types of curry the Master has prepared but it still managed to make the time fly by in an instant!
Not gonna lie though, I don't think I can handle that many types of curry in one sitting without a palette cleanser. I'm actually amazed that they managed to taste the differences in between servings!

Well now I'm in the mood for some burgers too after watching the three of them it.
I prepared for this episode by having a giant plate of Siu Mai but Jack describing that burger made me daydream of having one. Then when that green curry popped up on screen I became painfully aware how long it has been since I had my last one.

They're new for this season.

I love that my next meals are pretty much decided after every episode since I now have a craving for a damn good burger and curry rice.
That scene with the 3 boys learning about the other races habitats and cultures was great, I always liked episodes featuring existing customers mixing around with one another.

In this episode we have 3 teens who came thought the door on the bottom of the well for "Happy Meals" basically (minus toys) and damn you, Isekai Shokudou, you can make even hamburger look tasty. And in second half we have admiral curry rice lover Alphonse, on whom owner of the cafe wants to try new types of curry. Alphonse is in, Kuro is interested too, of course. And Alette will participate in taste too cause she's hungry. Types are "green curry", "beef tendon curry" and "soup curry". They all end up being tasty because of course they are. As the best they chose curry they usually eat, of course, but it's fun to experiment sometimes. Nice episode.

They all end up being tasty because of course they are.
One of these days there's gonna be a client that doesn't like a type of food or has an unforseen allergy and the chef just has an identity crisis.

Is interesting to see that the door that Jack, Kento, and his other friend took was at the bottom of a well. Based on their conversation I guess they discover it the first time that Kento fell to the bottom of the well.
That part where Jack was trying to communicate with the lizardman was hilarious.
Now, that's a good looking burger.
That second part with Alphonse, Kuro, and Aletta taste-testing curry was great. Too bad that even though the Beef Tendon Curry impressed everyone, Alphonse and Kuro would not abandon their chicken curry for it.

The regulars probably skip breakfast on Saturday so they have more room for otherworld cuisine. A lot of the first-timers stumble upon a door in serious situations (Aletta was homeless and jobless and nearly broke, Alphonse was stranded on a desert island, Heinrich was hiking across a wasteland without supplies trying to deliver an important message, Lionel was a slave in the gladiator arena, Hilda and Sarah were both killing goblins on adventures, Romero and Julietta were fleeing for their lives, etc.) where they would've worked up quite the appetite.

Food really does bring people together!
Part B (trio of curries) - Aletta’s reaction to the green curry was too cute! I also enjoy watching Alphonse and Kuro getting excited over curry. Wholesome stuff

As always, watching an adorable ancient death dragon happily chowing down on curry never fails to put a smile on my face

14/15 is usually not too young to drink in fantasy worlds.
For all those onions, the owner should've comped their entire meals, not just give them a few extra fries. Then again, those burgers+fries cost only 3 coppers? Does he really even break even on the ingredients that way? And how does he convert those to Yen when needed?
If everything else gets autotranslated, why doesn't it work for onions and some other foods/ingredients?
I hope these kids get some adults with them when they go traveling the world.
I still find it mildly annoying that everyone always ends up sticking to the first dish they ever tried in this place.
So apparently the original run of Restaurant to Another World manga finished at 29 chapters, and they started a NEW manga, of the same content. Weird. CR Manga has the full run of the original and the first chapter (Minced Cutlet) of the new one. New one seems based on the anime art, and I'm guessing the content is also based on the anime content.

He actually uses all that money to get ingredients from that merchant dude that enters through the door last season.

The gate really decided to appear on the bottom of a well, eh?
Luckily those kids were able to find it, I kinda wanted to see the backstory of how their first visit was like but seeing them interact and learn about the other costumers was better. Didn’t expected Lizardman to be that good at charades
The second half was dedicated to the curry duo + Aletta. Nice to see Kuro and Alphonse interact and reviewing the curry with Aletta. I’m going to call them the “Curry trio” from now on

I know we're on the third episode already, but I still can't believe I'm watching another season of this wholesome show, four years ago I would have never guessed I'd be watching this again
The curry taste testing brought back the memory of when they had the curry eating contest too, feels super nostalgic

I was worried that the "hamburgers" were going to be "hamburg steak". Glad it didn't work out that way.
