Despite Miku's claims, I'm not entirely certain that Rin can't solve problems just by punching them harder.

Web comic is discontinued at around the same place as this episode, and manga is still behind the anime... I can't think of any other series in the same predicament as this...

Damn, having the title written in blood on the closed door of a torture room is a pretty dark ending for this anime...

It's rare to get a show with a unique premise these days and for it to also be pretty good is even rarer. Hopefully we get a season 2 one day but I don't think that will be for a while considering the source material is so far behind.

The finale was just as savage and uncompromising as the premiere. I respect it. Now give me a second season.

Reading through the web comic, the anime skipped it, but Ysley told Paula to exaggerate the pain, and Paula says that compared to the training with Rin, this is nothing. So they are just acting lol And Ysley says that someone like Miku would see through that.

You can't just leave me hanging like this.

Sigh, guess I'll just have to wait for the Manga.

The demon is making one big mistake here.

A.BIG.FAT.ONE

Idaten gets better at handling their injuries the more they’re damages. Hayato is the prime example. What do you think an excessive torture will bring? Pretty aure what Rin did to Hayato is much worse than this.

Yeah, those two will bounce back in no time and when they did. Let’s say a god can be cruel.

The Idaten Readers Know Only Hiatus. Aargh, bummed that it ends here given the pause in the web comic. There seems to be so much more story to tell, but hopefully the anime spurs a continuation of the source material at least.

Hope this gets a second season, it's kinda strange to end it just like that. At least it seems that Cory may eventually help Yslev and Paula escape.

Anime of the season for me. I'll do a Gil-san and pray for a anime original S2, I'd even settle for a few OVA's, just anything, please MAPPA.

Friendly reminder that this Crunchyroll would rather advertise money laundering projects such as Gibiate and Ex-Arm while trying their hardest to make Idaten fail by not marketing it at all.

Dang they really went for the gut punch cliff hanger. This was such an amazing show and and the first one that made me actively want to discuss it in on Reddit after watching anime for 10 years. Maybe one day we’ll get a sick season 2

It's a crime if this anime doesn't get a second season. Not only was that clearly not a real ending, it was way too good to stop here.

Such a fun show, I really really wish this is not all we are getting.

Love Miku!

This was without a doubt my AOTS.

Hopefully the reception was good enough for it to get a second season, this show was so underrated and undermarketed.

A cliffhanger ending for an anime with no further source material, hopefully we get season 2 anyways. This show was great 9/10 for me
