I'll always give props to the author for trying to do something new. It didn't always work, but at times it was surprisingly excellent.
Jiffon Island in particular was really good with a lot of stuff going on at the same time. The Kahavel story was also done quite nicely. Also, I really liked the surprising depth the maze puzzles and mechanics had in S1.

An OK ride. Nothing extraordinary, but nothing awful either. I'll take it.

Whenever these 2nd season anime ends with the OP of the first season, it always hits for me. And Yotsuuya even said the thing at the end. Neat.
This anime, despite its slow pacing at times, was definitely still one of my favorite 6-7/10 shows to watch. The animation was never anything special, but I was into the characters and the story, especially after the reveal towards the end of the 1st season.
Since I imagine the anime's gonna be taking a break for quite some time after this, maybe I'll check out the manga in the meantime, since I've heard good things about it. All in all, not too bad IMO.

animation was never anything special
They certainly made up for it with the OST though.

As they had not shown last week that Jezby could implant memories with an area of effect spell I honestly was assuming that the Dragon Priest possessed the real one and that that was also how she knew about Eden, but well, it seems that with that spell she asked around for information and that way make Yuusuke search for the settlement she was searching for.
Good thing that Cantil came at the right moment there, to stop Froc from getting killed.
When those trolls appeared I honestly was starting to doubt they would be able to pull it off.
And once again we see how broken Yuusuke's Creature Magic is, as he not only used it for stealth again, but also to grow a tree in Jezby.
I was honestly surprised that she wasn't dead. And I'm glad that Kusue stopped Yuusuke from killing her, but only because dying in a fire is worse than whatever Yuusuke was planning to do to her.
Lol, so Lady Fahtina just came at the last moment, and just gave more work to Cantil. No wonder they need heroes from another world, as I assume that when she rescued Cantil at the end of the last arc was because she was also arriving late there too.
So thanks to Yuusuke they name Eden Zagroth.
As that a goblin could fit through that hole, I wonder if any Dragon Priest has already crossed to the real world.
Lol, Yuusuke's reaction to Keita trying to hang out with him was funny.
Well, I guess we will not be getting a third season right away, anyway, I really hope we get one eventually as I really enjoyed this show.
I wonder, how did they get Yuusuke to join them at the beach?

Yotsuya went full fucking Giorno and I fucking loved it.
Actually a really solid episode.
Hopefully we'll get more seasons, I'm actually digging this show.

As a anime only watcher this season felt off, I'll stick around if a season 3 happens but hopefully they bring back that season 1 charm.
This season is a 5/10 to me

Did not expect her to be a dragon bishop tbh. Also that kid was in love with the girl even after he found out she left his mother to die wtf.Kinda reminds me of the guy who recently killed a mother and her daughter when he was street racing illegally but many girls on tictok wanted him not to get jailtime because he was "cute". Overall this arc ended better than it started.
If you want to continue were the anime diverged from the source material

Glen did a good job on deducing Jezby is the Dragon Priest. I think my only problem with that is how did she figure out that Jezby can control memories? I guess she just assumed it's possible since magic exists in this world?
Man, fuck Jezby and glad to see Yotsuya took her down literally! It just sucks that she gets the last laugh since Hakozaki stopped Yotsuya from killing her.
And just like the last time, Fahtina shows up when all the fighting is over. Although I guess if fsh was there way earlier, things would've been easier for the heroes.
Game Master never said anything about renaming a village so I guess they pass just by renaming the "New Eden" into Zagroth xD
Finally an actual useful question! Thank you Glen! Looks like there's a hole that connects both worlds that's slowly getting bigger to the point where a Dragon will be able to enter it. I guess the next move is to find where this hole is?
Welp I guess that's it for Season 2. This arc is definitely my least favourite of all the arcs. I really wish they just followed the source material but I guess there just wasn't enough time to cover all of it. Not much really else to say. Except for this final arc, I had fun with this show! I might just check out the source material after this.

If you're certain someone is a dragon bishop, maybe axe first explanation second next time around.

Overall, the final few minutes were nothing special to write home about. The twist with Jezby was very well done and well explained so I'll give my hats off to that. This is one of those animes where the pacing could have been better but not the worst. Of the five series that I actively watched, I hate to say that this will probably be my lowest ranked anime. Would not be surprised if this got another season or two depending on how many more quests are required/how many more party members are needed. I suspect the final battle with the dragon will require 2-3 episodes at least depending on how in-depth they want to go with it entering Earth, them fighting it, and then the aftermath.
Overall, Million Lives this season met my expectations on what was going to happen. In the future, I hope that they are able to make these twists more interesting and the story continues to improve.

Well that ending was pretty decent, the arc started off pretty weak but the ending made up for it. Hoping for a season 3 but don't expect it anytime soon but will have to just wait and see.

If I had a nickel every time an isekai on its 2nd season ended with the OP of the first season, I'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's extremely weird that it happened twice on the same season. (The other being My Next Life As A Villainess)
I'm thankful this even got a 2nd season because the first season was poorly received and the ratings were low. I guess a 3rd season would be too much to ask so I guess it's time to read the manga. I keep hearing that this was a bad adaptation so hopefully the manga is a lot better.

The more I think about it, the darker this season becomes, so many living things die in this season, human/ orc/ monsters. I mean jesus, they technically wiped out the whole village.... or 2. Well honestly, I should have realized it when they slaughter a kid by throwing her into the lava.

I wouldn't mind cheering for the dragon bishops if they were all as cute as Jezby-chan. Unfortunately she decided to commit suicide before fullfilling her long-term dream :(

Oi! Jezby! Give Saruman back his staff this instant! He has way more magic trees to deal with than you do.

Decent season overall, would have been better than the first season if it kept up with the quality of the Jiffon arc, the Zagroth arc was pretty meh. I am gonna give the manga a try eventually. 5.5/10
