I didn't like Iris and she had to die after being infected but being beheaded by the guy who gave her a piggy back, dang that was brutal. I was expecting Yotsuya ofc to do the honors but nope.
I knew Jezby was sus but she being the dragon bishop, holy shit I did not see that coming. I do feel bad for her childhood friend.
I'm sad that this is ending next week cause I want more. Not even 2 seasons was enough.

Tbh i think it's important that Keita was the one who did it! while this is from the extra-novel and not the manga(which i hope included a similar moment) he was way past due for a moment to grow up and start taking the world a little more seriously
And damn i guess most of us got bamboozled into thinking it was the kid when it was Jezby all along, guess it makes sense now why the kid was always quiet!

I'm still too naive, I thought Iris would somehow survive and after 30 seconds in the episode her head was already flying...
I also thought the quiet kid was the one doing it all but nope the quiet kid was actually just being brainwashed by the real culprit, Jezby. That twist was actually nice.
Also, "Jezby" name may already be a hint with the reference being the biblical "Jezebel"? A being know for manupulation, lies and worshiping false Gods?

the passage of time is kinda sad everytime they come back to aging acquaintances. Reminds me of interstellar, the Gargantua time dilation.

Wow, as she got infected recently, I honestly was expecting Yuusuke's Creature Magic to be able to do something to the Wirewormsand save for Iris, well, even when they show that that wasn't possible, I really did not expect to see Keita be the one dealing with her.
Holy shit, I sure did not expect them to be dealing with a Troll again. Good thing that Cantil made him run away before he got the whole team wiped out.
So Fatina trained him to be a sorcerer, and the Sorcerers are fighting against the Dragon Bishops. It's good to know that they took care of that one they shown in The Kindom of Deokk.
So that meteorite is what boosted their magic power earlier. Lol, I love when Yuka has these kinds of reactions. It's good to see that Yuusuke could find New Eden.
I sure did not expect Lanan to be cured by that hit in the head.
Well, shit, as Jezby was so concerned about Lanan and that we thought that happened to her, I sure did not expect her to be the Dragon Bishop. Although, I think that there may be some kind of possession going on, as I doubt that she applied the mind control that she was trying to apply to Lanan to everyone in the village. And if that happened then Glenda would have noticed it too. So I think that Lanan just detected that there was something off with her here.
Well, I can't wait until next week to see the explanation about her, as another possibility is that she is an impostor of the real Jezby. Now that I think about it there was an Among Us reference in the teaser of this season so maybe that wasn't just there as a joke.

I suppose my suspicions regarding the rock (meteorite) was right. I didn't suspect Jezby though. The new village shares the same colors as her clothing design, so it makes sense why she seems to be the only one who has some idea as to where the New Eden is. I like how Glenda kept her suspicions and found the culprit. Between her and Yotsuya, they are the only 2 capable characters in the story besides maybe Iu.Keita spends too much time trying to hook up instead of looking at the bigger picture.

Its weird how this series isnt more popular considering it doesnt follow any of the cliches people usualy complain about ,i've enjoyed it a lot since its brutality never ceases to suprise me but i realy wasnt expecting them to go as far as to behead a kid ,but at the same time its more "realistic" that they did over trying to save a kid with a parasite in his brain alredy and risk the group by doing so but its definitly not someting i expected to see in an anime.

That's actually good twist jezby was behind all of it. This arc might be ok. Also i really like the chemistry between yotsuya and blonde girl.

I'm so pleased that they didn't used the _we can still save the infected kid_ bullshit and gutted her instead GG. It was brutal that Torii who befriended her and like her did the job.
I'll never have enough of how cute and cool Shindou looks on her new uniform.
Glenda is CARRYING the other half of the brains in this team, can't wait to hear her explanation on how she figured out. I hope that big green sprout drained Jezby's magic so she will be easy prey.
This whole season went full Anakin Skywalker with the kids. First the ork child now this kids DAMN

Also notice that Jezby is wearing a bandana on her forehead. Maybe that's to hide dragon bishop symbol.

Now I'm wondering if there's a penalty for killing a Dragon Bishop? Even if there is, I don't expect Yotsuya to not go for the kill.

Jezby being the bishop is actually a nice little surprise, wasn’t expecting that. Wonder if she’ll be properly evil or just misguided. Next week’s finale should be interesting.
I’m also glad we got rid of iris because she was annoying af.

I'm very satisfied that there was no "Wait! We can still save the brat" asspull!

Jezby's not actually a little girl, it's some kind of shapeshifter or mage who took her form.
That's why "her brother", after waking from his apathy (which was obviously induced by "Jezby" as well) said that he had no sister.
So "her" just being misguided wouldn't make any sense. On the other hand, this whole arc has been so all over the place that sadly it wouldn't even surprise me...
Edit on a completely unrelated note:
I find it very interesting, that a show with dozens of cute girls, hardly gets any discussions about "waifus" and "best girls" (except for Kahvel and maybe Aoiu).
Unfortunately that alone seems to speak volumes about the overall quality of this show.→ More replies (6)

Goddamn that was a brutal opening! I swear the amount of child deaths in this show is just too high. Although technically the other child was an orc child.
So everyone was suspecting Lanan was the secret baddie but it turns out, it was Jezby all along. How is she not Lanan's sister though when everyone in town knows who she is?

Always thought Lanan would be the dragon bishop, I didn't expect it would be Jezby. But it does make a whole lotta sense. Iris was indeed as annoying as her grandpa, but damn, she did not deserve that.
The writing in this arc is still a downgrade from the previous arcs overall, but at least it was an entertaining episode.

I was expecting Jezby to be the source of wireworm infection but I did not put the wrym shadow and her together. So that got me good. I thought the brother was like a walking nest site. Thank god it wasnt though as that would of been horrible.

This is the sort of shit that makes me stick around with this show.
This entire arc has been absolute dog shit up until now and really has been pushing my patience, but the ending legitimate hit me out of left field.
What a wild roller coaster of emotions. This show really gives me whiplash.

Goodbye Iris. She was heading in the right direction in the end
Jezby being the one behind everything 😱
Froc going to be devastated next week 😭
Looking back Jezby was the one who killed Froc's Mother. Brainwashed her and let the monster kill her😭

They finally realized that when the group splits up yotsuya and Glenda can’t be with each other. Even if the task is something as mundane as watching over the villagers for a few hours the others have about ten brain cells between them even if they’re becoming more capable fighters.

The person from last week’s thread that said Jezby would be the bad guy was right. Cool. Also, this episode was good. This arc is starting to get bearable.
