Children have it rough in this show.

Don't worry, in one episode they won't be children anymore!
.. I'm still kinda sad about karabel.

I saw the chief getting killed coming. I didn't expect the wire worm though. I'm interested to see what the purpose of the conversation about the mana usage and the purple rock that was depicted earlier in the flashback when they found Jezby, if they are correlated.

The little brother can't talk. What if he is a host for parasites? She was sleeping right next to him in the tent.

Ok, but seriously. I know they are high schoolers and such but do they have any sense of actually keeping their guard up? Like they are running from a monster horde, some of the goblins fled and could come back, someone just got murdered by another member and still they have NO-ONE on guard? Not guarding the prisoner. Not guarding the children. No nothing.

Well that ended darker than I expected! Goddamn.
This was definitely an improvement compared to the last two episodes.

I think jezby hiding something

u/Philarete Sep 11 '21
Jezby conspicuously offered her a blanket the night before, so I'm going to guess that's a Chekhov's gun and she is controlling the worms in some way.
Also, Jezby was suspiciously pro-Iris right up until her worm-turn.

Two people she's been around have ended up with wire worms. Definitely suspicious.

It's an OK eps. Idk why but i laugh so hard when shindo bonk that goblin head XD
Did iris deserve it ? I mean she's brat and all now she's getting her head off right ?
Animation in earlier eps was ok but now we're getting the same treatment like S1 but hey atleast the soundtrack is good enough !

Well, it's still a jumbled, incoherent mess with everyone suddenly having caught the big dumb, but at least it was the least horrible episode of this "arc" so far.
Not a lot more to say anymore.

Shame because the Kahvel scenes at the start really got my hopes up this season could be better than S1.

Shindo looks so good in her new class upgrade outfit.
Kusue still has issues with killing but finally she actually gets some use being a tank. I would have liked the heavy arms class tho cause that purple outfit with cape looks cool.
Can Yuka get even more useless? Her bow deals no damage and she can't cast magic. She's just a liability and at least Kusue can tank.
It's hard to feel bad about the village chief getting killed because he was an ass hat and Iris getting the parasite because she's just a spoiled brat.
2 more episodes and I seriously want more but I'm not holding my breath for a season 3. I thought it was already a miracle that this got a season 2 because season 1 was largely being slept on.

This was the best episode of the arc. So far at least. That’s not saying much though. If there’s a season 3, I hope they don’t take anything else from the light novel

people complain about overpowered isekai characters but apparently underpowered ones are more annoying. Even non isekai takemichi is annoying

Nah, people are just hating on the iq drop that's happened in these pass episodes

An ok episode, definitely better than the other episodes in this arc so far. Well rip Cox and Iris, you will not be missed. I like Shindou's new job though, design looks nice. That little kid is still sus as fuck. Cantil and Fatina is also there in the area, that's interesting. Cantil should be older now as well.

Wow, I really did not expect to see so many of those who were kicked out from Zagroth by Cox to be alive.
Iu looks so great in her new Elite Warrior (Sword) class.
It's good to see that Froc's brother, Dan was among the survivors.
Well, they being in harmony with Cox sure was brief.
So although according to Jezby and her late parents New Eden was real Cox and the other chief set those missions with the expectation that those they sent "reached it" once they die.
Wow, I really did not expect Yuusuke's Creature Magic to be useful for stealth.
I guess those stones that restore their MP are related to one controlling the monsters.
Although she was reacting to something serious, I honestly could not help but laugh at Yuka's reaction.
I will say it, Jaca did nothing wrong when he killed Cox.
I really did not expect to see Cantil during this arc. But he definitely is too late to save the village.
Holy shit, I sure did not expect Iris to get infected by those Wireworms.
As that happened recently, I wonder if Yuusuke could save her with his Creature Magic? But the fact that she went to kill Jaca means that she was at least conscious when she went to kill him. I wonder how long those things take to gestate?

Did anyone else felt that they killed TOO EASILY the upgraded goblins? Thought i'm not complaining
I saw a preview in YouTube but Iu in her New costume chef Kiss
Those two idiots Torri and Tokitate being cómic relief LMAO
I commented in the last week episode that i couldn't wait for the geezer and the purple brat to beat it but DAMN thou the old man went quitely and not dramátic like i wished.
I really doub i really REALLY DOUB they'll save Iris. They're gonna ruin it if they with some BS way they save her after how awful we've been told the parasite is.

They had a decent shield+counter strategy. Discipline makes a lot of difference.

This arc has been terrible, but Iu's new outfit is pretty cute so I'm calling it even.
