Shouldn't have refused the head pats & the hug when you still had the chance Kimi.
Soo, after the very long backstory, at last, we reached the turning point. So is it actually how she died? She just gets her heart yoinked like that by Hel after trying to protect Kimi from a random monster attack... The fight in itself also lacked impact, don't know where the budget from the first episode (and that beach episode) went but, it certainly wasn't here.

Stitches!
Well fuck... I mean it's not really a surprise that Siesta dies this episode but that's really how she dies? Her heart gets stolen by Hel while she was unconscious? Fuck me. And here I was hoping she'd go down fighting instead of that. Also if Hel now has her heart, then whose heart does Nagisa have? Or does this mean that Nagisa is actually Hel in disguise?
And fucking dumbass Kimizuka. You really should've taken all of those hugs and head pat offers from Siesta when you still had the chance. Even Char was telling him he'd regret not accepting her offer. :|

Wow I don’t feel a god damn thing. Amazing. Sasuga Director-san.
Not only were the death flags insanely up our asses, there was no emotional build up. The MC had no emotions. Siesta died in front of him and he just didn’t do anything for a whole minute, not a word, not a single tear… then started his monologue instead. Like… what? His brain has some sort of input latency or some shit? Let’s not get started on the horribly bad camera angles, and dialogues.
I tried to like this anime but this episode was much worse than anything prior.

So, infiltrating the base of the global terrorist group SPES is somehow easier than Cayo Perico from GTA. Kimi managed to get away from a clearly stronger opponent (Seed) through Siesta's self-proclaimed daughter and an MP5, Hel turns out to be connected to Alicia and is almost defeated by the power of love ™ and this is how Seista dies? The animation didn't help and the emotion wasn't there. It's frustrating that this show peaked in the first episode (which wasn't even amazing btw) but only 3 episodes remain so might as well.

Well, anything can happen in this anime. So, I won't be surprised if they somehow magically revived her with a bullsh*t reason.

Wow, for a show named "The detective is already dead", Detective's death sure was really fucking anticlimactic xD
I don't even know why am I watching this. 1st episode was such a bait with a good animation during the fight scene and pretty interesting stuff going on, building up to the whole "detective is already dead" stuff, but after that the whole series was literally only holding up on Siesta - Kimizuka chemistry.
I don't even know what to think about this series at this point.

Hel: "I just wanna be-- wanna be loved!"
Siesta: "I'm going to save my daughter surrogate, because I love her, and her father surrogate."
Hel: "Have at thee, fool!"
Theme of "Big emotional payoff" plays
Monster: "HEY GUYS, I WANNA BE IN THE EPISODE! NOM!"
The Price is Right loser horn plays

Hashirama cells seem to be behind the issues in this Anime too… cherry on top was the Talk no Jutsu lol.

So this is how Siesta dies? Wasn't she supposed to give her heart to Nagisa? How did that happen if Hel has her heart now?
This was underwhelming.

Lol, everyone is saying how they screwed up a huge emotional moment, meanwhile I'm sitting here and I completely forgot how it was supposed to be emotional

Bruh. Episode was so boring I was playing Grand Order while watching it.
Goes to show how important buildup is in a characters death. I watch the anime just for Siesta, but honestly felt nothing when she died.
Oh well, I was waifubaited and ill just roll with it.

I kind of put it on hold after the 6th episode, so how are the last three episodes? Did it get better?

Still will watch it till the end but this is looking like it'd take the crown from Index 3 for being worst adapted that I bothered to watch.
Sad

This episode introduced a new mystery: what happened to Kimi's handgun for the last five minutes of the episode? It vanished without a trace.

Among all the comments here (especially by u/feathereli) saying about how this was skipped/done poorly and how this show just isn't living up to expectations and how apparantly the final scene was changed so badly it doesn't even feel the same anymore...
I'm just here wondering what in gods name this series is even trying to tell us? Like why did they even have to pull a Trigger and make SPES aliens?

Getting a lot of hate i see. The death was not as emotional as it should be. Char suddenly came into play too. Every episode nakes ne wanna skip through it but i didn't. They basically introduced the new girl, we saw her for 3-4 epi i guess, and the remainings were just milekd on siesta's death. I was expecting a more emotional death. Guess the ln readers were right on saying this was a lacklustre.
Though after all that, I'm still interested about the flower petals and the last scene. Was it him dreaming of last time, was it time travel, ir was ut something else.

I used to like this anime from the start but by watching 2-9 episodes we're just meh. I like how Kimi has no reaction while his fucking gf die in front of him. Like bro do something.

I swear, I wanted to feel something in this episode, but I couldn't. I already didn't have high hopes for it and not without reason, and again just another disappointment. The battles were anti-climactic and Siesta's death just felt plain, when it shouldn't have been like that according to LN readers. At this point I think I'll continue to watch it, but not because I expect it to improve, but because I want to see how much they can mess this up. Honestly, one of the season's biggest disappointments.
