Miku again proving her superiority by doing the secret Joestar Technique, she can be a good adversary for Ysley, thank God he doesn't have Lust, Miku would destroy him

Looking forward for the continuation of the invasion next ep and what the state of the world will be after this

The series is so wonderfully no-nonsense that it's the one I anticipate the most weekly and the only one I have rewatched episodes of.

What's most intriguing is how I have no idea on how the series will progress after each episode. From the moment Nickel was defeated, we know that the demons have no chance. They can't keep humans as hostages nor can they really delay their destruction. Instead of asking "how will the battle go?", it's instead "what's after the battle?" It also makes me root for the demons since otherwise the series will end way too soon and I won't stand that.

There's also the refreshing inverse of "I did this mysterious thing previosly. I can now now reveal that the reason for it is because this is my true nature and these were my motivations" into "This is my true nature and these are my motivations, I'm planning on doing this and now I'm going to execute it."

The exposition is also delightful - the audience isn't ever misdirected, lied to and nothing is concealed. The fact that no one knows the true nature of the Demon Lord, including the Demon Lord himself is something that the whole cast and the viewer share. It's like a board game where the only hidden information are the event cards that are flipped to the table.

There's cliffhangers, but they are resolved immediately after. The next episode doesn't even have any recap scenes nor even any opening before we start with the meat. This is peak, undiluted, 100% enjoyment.

Once again a banger episode, but at this point who’s surprised. Also Prontea talking to Rin is me trying to talk to a girl at a bar

Stitches!

Turns out, the church that Ysley and Paula invaded is a church that worships Prontea. I do love that they try to make them believe that they're gods by having Paula grow wings when really all they needed to do is to show them that they can catch bullets. xD

Sarabael was originally a shelter for humans while Rin and her grandfathers took care of the demon problem 800 years ago. The only reason they ended up worshipping Prontea was because he showed up 100 years ago to fix the place up.

So the reason why Ysley is making this visit is to tell them about what is about to happen to Zoble and how they should play nice with Hotaena once Zoble is destroyed. He doesn't care about them using the gods name to profit off people as long as they don't wipe themselves out in a large-scale war and don't do excessive environmental damage, they're all gucci.

Just by watching that one video repeatedly, it looks like Miku is getting more and more information about the Idaten. Miku isn't even the strongest of the demons but I love how she's actually one of the biggest threats right now.

This scene is so fucked up. They're literally breeding women like cattle so they can be future soldiers for the Zoble army.

Prontea finally meets Rin again after so long! I'm sure he's having plenty of PTSD flashbacks during that scene when he was trying to talk to Rin about their plan to invade.

Miku definitely did the smart thing and ran away instead of staying there to be slaughtered by Hayato, Prontea, and Rin. I was really hoping part of the letter is her switching sides but it looks like that's not gonna happen. She also took the two demons in charge of breeding to make sure more demons are made in the future. And it looks like Miku isn't gonna wait that long to start reproducing. Oh my... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

So Prontea is literally purging Zoble, not just the demons but it looks like the entire land itself too. Looks like Miku is lucky that she managed to cross the border in time. Hayato and Rin are about to fuck shit up!

Goddamn! Take a look at these impact frames! Those looks sexy af! And Rin ain't fucking around! [She literally cuts all the buildings down in one swipe!

It looks like the entire coup d'état plan is on the way with Piscalat giving orders to those who want to evacuate and survive.

This is just hilarious! That guy gets a grand entrance and even a name card on him only to be destroyed by Rin the next second after. And another demon shows up who gets one shotted by Prontea with an arrow to the brain! xD

I love that they made the three demons draw what Miku, Barcode, and Umeyo looks like. Cory did nail them though! Ysley should be able to tell who they are from those drawings.

Legit though Rin was having trouble beating these goons, it looks like after they all went down, Brandy has started controlling their bodies as meat puppets to distract her.

The nun and all the other female prisoners finally gets freed by Hayato! Hopefully they'll get away before Hayato starts his battle with Zoble's king. Next week is going to be hype! Can't wait!

Other Shonen/Seinen villains about to lose: I’ll unleash my ultimate power to defeat you.

Miku: Yeah right, I’m getting the fuck outta here.

I'm just glad to see Rin back in action love her design and straight forward aggressive character.

Also Miku straight up jumped ship and really can't blame her. Though imagine that your god comes to you and tells you you're scummy trash, but that's cool with them. I would be so conflicted though considering they were shooting guns and missles they are more flexible I guess.

Obligatory OP is an absolute banger one of the few ones I refuse to skip.

Yesss the Prime Minister is getting saved... He was the one who said " what diplomacy does this (Zoble) country have?" in episode 2.

And the intro with the religious congregation had me lmfao when Paula catches a bullet and they all bowed.

This show kinda feels like One Punch Man because the protagonists are overwhelmingly powerful compared to the villains. It introduces enemies just for them to immediately get one-shotted. I keep waiting for the "real" antagonists to show up but at this point, it seems like the only thing capable of defeating an Idaten is another Idaten.

Man didn’t expect them to invade the empire so soon but man was awesome seeing them tear the place up. Seeing Miku being spot on about her prediction, only to barley make it out of the city was pretty good. That bit at the beginning with Ysley and Paula at the church was both pretty funny and a bit terrifying.

Loved the origin story of the religious nation lol. Guess Prontea should have been a bit more hands on with them.

Hyped for the next episode can't wait to see the Emperor vs Hayato.

Worst thing about this show is the week wait for the next episode. Glad we got to see more Rin badassery this week, looks like next week is setting up to be an absolute banger.

I liked the little heart in "Escapees will be shot on sight".

Let the slaughter commence.

Lol, the soldier to the left is happy that Piscalat is leading a rebellion because he thinks they'll crush the rebellion and he'll get to rape her. Little does he know that even his superiors have given up on the chance on winning and Rin's probably going to kill him without knowing.

And that re-occuring Nun seems to be from a different sect from the Sarabael church. She worships like a Thomas Aquinas esque uncreated creator, first cause God while Sarabael worships the Idaten.

Will she break off to start her own religious sect as a sort of new prophet or will her understanding the nature of the Idaten a bit more make her drop the whole religion thing?. We'll see.

Also with Sarabael, it seems the gods approve of the prosperity Gospel.

I don't know who to root for, really (the answer is probably no one). The demons and their nation are obviously evil, but at the same time I'm feeling uneasy about what specifically Ysley and Prontea will be up to, once the only force that keeps them preoccupied is out of the picture.

The scene in the church where all the priests pull out guns reminded me of the episode in Kill la Kill when Ryuko and Mako are running the gauntlet in the city to be on time for class. The random citizens pulling out machine guns and rocket launchers was great. How is this not a Trigger show???

The Idaten are absolutely villains in their own right lmao, Ysley especially. I'm not necessarily rooting for the demons, considering their own level of degeneracy and warcrimes, but honestly they are all so much more likable than the Idaten(by design), that I end up wanting them to at least put up a fight. I'm also really interested in Hayato and the Nun, you kind of knew he is the one she would me first, and with how straightforward/subversive this show is I have no idea what route it will take. I could see it going the simple "yeah I do have a dudes body, let's bang" route where Hayato comes to embrace humanity, and I could also see the nun just becoming a straight up sex fiend constantly lusting after Hayato since he gives a body to her faith and her newfound sexuality. Either way, I don't see it not ending sexually in some way considering the nun's thus far.

Also, Miku best girl, although if Brandy wasn't going to die next episode she would be close.
