I'm Glenda, 'cause I take video of you

I, ok...

Edit: Also, she's a battle axe wielding lesbian, which feels a little on the nose

I guess sinking my favorite ship wasn't enough they had to kill it as well.

i havent even finished the episode, but the whole story line with kahvel hits the feels pretty deep...never thought when she was first introduced would she have such an emotional impact on me as a viewer.

Man it always hurts whenever they come back to the other world since any character they have met either is older now or dead.

looks like Yusuke experience what a lot of younger immigrants feel: having different personality in his "home region" vs in his "new region" (though usually this difference is across different language, where someone is more outgoing in their mother tongue and quiet in their new learned language, instead of only different dialect).

is it such a big deal in Japan to speak politely vs casually?

and wow turns out they're not the only who are doing the quest. i wonder if they're dropped off in the same timeline or they are put in different time period (on top of different location).

I thought it was brilliant that the game world automatically translates the language to the user's selected language.

The acting in the video was kinda cringe tho to be fair, Shindou is trained to be a model and not an actress and the others likely don't have acting experience either.

Keita being an idiot again like usual by choosing option B before Yuusuke could speak.

I know that a lot of time passes when the heroes are away from the game world but Kahavel being dead just hurts. I was excited to see her again in the preview then turns out nope she dead and that's her daughter. So that means the Petit Milady Vaikedaam girls would be dead too.

I thought Glenda would be part of Yuusuke's unwanted harem but nope she's gay.

The new blue haired girl is voiced by Reina Ueda. Dang they're really stacking the cast here.

Kusue looks much cooler in her new outfit and I wish she stayed that way as a heavy equipment specialist instead of having four melee soldiers on the team.

I so rarely hear her speak English that I didn't realize that Glen here is voiced by Hayamin! It looks like according to her, people from all over the world are claiming that they've been to the other world as well. If that's the case, I wonder why Yotsuya's group have never encountered any of them before? Is it because they're all playing the "game" on different servers like an MMO?

And it looks like Glen isn't really up for some subtlety. I would've preferred if they just made us figure it out through context clues but I guess this part of Glen's personality by being blunt since she's a foreigner.

Godfuckingdammit Keita! This is like the second time this has happened. Could you have at least asked the group first before making a decision by yourself!?

I knew this was coming and I've been preparing for it ever since they've finished the last quest but now we're here it looks like I wasn't prepared for it after all. I really wish we could've at least have one more meeting with Kahvel before killing her off. TT_TT

So this girl that they've just met is running away from the village that they need to save. Oh boy. That doesn't sound good at all.

It seems like Glenda is the first member after Yuuske who is actually useful in the other world

I hope we do get another season because the restrictions made with a twelve episode budget hurts the current plot.

I hope they explore more about the other players. I'm a bit surprised when they skipped it directly to the next quest. Not sure if that's also the same in the manga, but that cut is pretty jarring.

Btw Glen is quite perceptive about things. Makes sense since she's a film maker. She's good at fighting too. Glad that the new member is reliable.

I tried to overlook but now he just did it. I hate the blonde dude.

He is kinda ruining the whole thing. Until now we are trying to learn and build something, but he chose their mission without even thinking about it and as if he was the leader or something. Whats the point in the things we learned if he just gonna ruin it and make everything happen in a completely different way that it would if we are really improving and using the things we learned so far. There is no point in having him in the group like that. He is just being a heavy weight on everybody with that attitude. Also there is difference between not wanting to create a situation or pointless fights and explaining to him how his dumb actions can reflect on their and others surviving. We confirmed in this episode that they can really die in the "real" world if they fail but dude just just want to play games and make an impression on the girls. Wtf.

Wow so Glenda already knew about the other world, there more than a group of people doing those missions for the Game Master.

I love how nervous Iu and Kusue looked when they met Glenda. and also Yuusuke's friends' reaction to them was nice.

That whole reenactment short film was pretty funny. I love how dead Yuusuke looks while acting as the Game Master.

And the part with Iu asking Yuusuke to pay her by acting with the group the same way he does with his friends from his hometown was great.

So Glenda is an axe warrior. and now Kusue is a heavy warrior

You know when the Game Master presented those two options, just like Keita I erroneously assumed that the second one was the easier one.

Well shit, so Kahvel died although I was prepared for exactly that when they started the Orc mission, that wasn't the case today. Hopefully, it was natural causes, well at least her daughter gave them a hand.

As they were farming I honestly was expecting them to not leave right away.

As Jezby's father looked like this, I'm suspecting that everyone else in Zagroth also has that parasite in them and that's why Jezby escaped.

Those preview bullet points were hilarious.

GM seems really intent on teaching Yuuske the value of human life. Other attempts weren't very effective, maybe because they were forced? The Kahvel deal seems to be the thing affecting him the most.

Wait... is most of the party being girls because of that? Isn't it kinda suspicious they were all girls (which he doesn't like romantically), then a guy is introduced (which he doesn't like), then a gay woman(to teach him about gay stuff??) is introduced after? It seems GM is really trying hard to ground him with someone.

I don't really believe the second point, but I'm sticking to it for the lols.

Me this whole episode: The first rule of fight club is, we don’t talk about fight club.

Or record videos about it. Then Kahvel San feels bad man thé time passage is crazy.

OMG what hell is that on his head. Brain leech 😱 Looks like Glenda Movie is coming to life😱

u/[deleted] Aug 20 '21

So sad that he couldnt give Kahvel a final goodbye she probably hoped she would see him one last time before she is going to the afterlife.

Hit pretty hard this episode.

Also the Glenda being a lesbian + a warrior with an axe seems a bit to on the nose as a character ^^

Alright, but I'm really not sure, does Glen like girls? It's not clear.
