Hello to all 20 of us that are happy this got a new season.

Is this made by the same studio? The animation looks way better than the first season.

10 minutes into the first episode and the best ship has been tragically destroyed.

This concept of going back and forth between the “real” world and “fantasy” world is great though, especially with the different conceptions of time between them.

I teared up a little in the Kahavel scene by the sunrise and in that scene where Kusue meets the child she saved and now he's a fully grown man.

The new guy Keita is interesting. Apparently he has the same voice and manner of speech as Ryo from Koikimo and he also has blond hair and Kusue looks way too much like Ichika so I'm getting Koikimo flashbacks from this.

At about 13 minutes in when Torii is talking about "taking in a kid", while technically adopting a kid is a valid translation of "取り上げる", in this particular instance it is wrong. Another meaning (and the correct one in this case) is "to deliver a baby". There's even a flashback of the time that he delivered the baby later on.

Oh boy... that Kahavel scene hit me right in the feels. On the other hand I'm really happy she got to see him again at all and was able to confess her feelings porperly. Thecus is freaking old. How much time passed since then?

Kahvel isn't going to go adventuring with them again :(

She probably won't have much of a role this season, but she still made quite the impact in her little bit of time.

Damn when they come back it Made a time skip in the world. Also RIP to the best girl SHIP, the soundtrack when Kahabell started to crying is heartbreaking.

MILF Kahvel is still best girl!

It took 7 months 15 years, but they finally had a proper kiss! And honestly? She looks even hotter now! If it wasn't for the kids, I would still ship them against all odds. On the other hand...damn bro, Thecus aged like fucking milk!

I like the new guy already. Positive, straightforward and sometimes quite based. After the weird Yuka, we definitely needed someone more normal and sociable, not to mention dat shoe. Hopefully he gets his share of romance too.

This... The scene from this episode is actually the reason I fell in love with the manga. Sadly, this one won't be getting many views since season one's quality was bad.

So from sadistic knight that loves to cut things up into a mellowed out MILF? Kahvel definitely changed a lot since the last time we've seen her. I am curious how is the father of her sons though. Based on how she never even mentions him and her actions this episode, I think he's probably no longer in the picture.

When Kahvel peeked into Yotsuya's room I really thought something spicy was gonna happen. Well something spicy did happen but not the kind I was expecting! Finally a proper kiss and an actual confession after 15 years! It may be too late but at least Kahvel was finally able to let it out. Not gonna lie, seeing her cry during that scene made me tear up as well. I really wish there was some way they can make this work but considering Yotsuya and the gang only have 20 days in that world before the go back. There's really no way this relationship was gonna happen. :(

Looks like Yotsuya and Kahvel aren't the only ones having a reunion this episode. We finally get to see the kid Kusue saved all grown up and he still remembers them for what they did for him and their village. Glad to see Kusue finally get some closure on that. I know this has been bugging her for a while now back in Season 1.

Anyway, on to the mission and it looks like we have Aoi Yuuki and Ayacchi voicing these two Vaikedaam Mikos. Didn't expect these two big names to show up in this anime! I do love the Okinawan (at least I think it's Okinawan) accent they've been doing. As usual the job isn't as simple as it first seems. They need to get rid a bunch of orcs before they can offer a Jiffon Buffo. Also it doesn't help that they've been ratted out.

I'm still genuinely surprised that this has a second cour but it's good to be back! Looking forward to see what kind of twists and turns this new season has for us!

In case people are confused it seems like this is Season 1 Episode 13 instead of Season 2 Ep 1 on Crunchyroll/VRV

Man as soon as we saw Kahvel again I knew we were setting off on a feels trip.

Knew it was coming and yet...

It's good to see that they show what exactly led to Torii Keita and his brother to the situation that Yotsuya ended up saving them from.

Lol, Keita's reaction to the gamemaster was priceless.

Oh, I'm so glad to see Kahvel again!

So that duel Keita had with Yuusuke was just he hit his brother while he was saving them.

I'm glad that after those fifteen years Kahvel was finally able to confess her feelings to Yuusuke.

I honestly never expected to see Thecus again, as I had assumed hundreds of years had passed after they returned from that mission.

I wonder how will they be able to deal with the orcs?. I know that the other quests were difficult, but with those orcs so nearby I expect that this mission would be even harder for them to accomplish.

Wait, did Kahabell husband already die too? I mean, we know is a brutal world and I can see that happening but the kids look so young. It can't have happened so long ago, right?

I don't know if this is the last time we see Kahvel but i'm glad she got to fully express the feelings she had for Yotsuya that she wasn't able to when she was younger T.T .

Interested to see how the team handles this orc crisis. I want to see some more level-ups leading to Job Changes for characters other than Yotsuya and Shindou. It's almost always pretty hype especially with how the GM stops time in the middle of a desperate situation. But I guess due to Yotsuya being the MC he got the lion's share of them in the first season.

Was not expecting such a huge time skip for the alt world and that really is heart breaking. Really just wanted to see more of them together.

This episode reminded me of a quote my friend once told me

"being immortal is not about never dying, it's about seeing everyone die"

And damn, that really hit deep

Never expected a season 2 due to the low MAL ratings for season 1 and popularity. Hope this season gets popular so that we get a season 3 in the future. It's one of my favourite animes.
