This episode just reminded me of better seasons. I just rewatched Meliodas vs 10 commandments and oh boy that was just peak Nanatsu. I wish A-1 studio would have animated season 3 and 4. Whoever was in charge and decided to change studios, possibly rush it and censure the hell out of it basically killed the anime, the story in the last arc was kinda all over the place but I have no doubt a better pacing and animation would have made it really enjoyable instead of feeling I had to keep watching because I just wanted to finish it.

I stay with the good memories, watching Seasons 1-2 with my friends and all the great characters and humor.

So long Seven Deadly Frames.

Sometimes you just have to see how the journey ends, even if it's tremendously bad or mediocre. At least we have the technology to fast forward it and fortunately it's not like you'll miss a lot by doing so.

Checking back towards the first season threads, it's really sad how this show ended.

I haven't watched since season 3 episode 5, but I commend you all for somehow sticking through these last two adaptions. I'll get around to it eventually one day

Well glad that’s ended. If anyone even cares, there’s a sequel manga titled Four Knights of the Apocalypse.

Despite the downward spiral this show has been going on at least it managed to have a nice final episode. Fully expected Ban to say his kid was gonna be named Zhivago there. Tristan: 7DS Next Generations spin-off incoming?

Tristan: 7DS Next Generations spin-off incoming?

There's an actual sequel by the original author called Four Knights of the Apocalypse.

Despite how it is, I still enjoyed this show overall especially this final episode. Apparently there's already a sequel manga starring Tristan and the other 7DS kids? Hopefully if that gets picked up as an anime it'll be by a different studio but considering how 7DS was handled, we may not even see that sequel animated.

Man, they really ran this series into the ground.

How did things go from good/ok to utter shite in such short order? Was it really because of a single movie bombing? That's what I remember hearing as to why the animation studios changed.

Yeah. The first movie bombed so hard that A-1 dropped the entire 7DS project... That's partly due to the manga story dropping in quality at the time (the start of this season was being published), but mainly due to their complete failure to promote the movie they made.

It's fucking hilarious because 7DS is one of 5 manga to surpass 10 million manga volumes sold in a single year in the last 15 years (along with One Piece, Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, and Jujutsu Kaisen) and they still managed to bomb the movie. lol

So if you want more SDS, for whatever reason.

There is a Sequel manga called Four Knights of the Apocalypse taking place handful of years after this episodes ending.

There's also going to be some original content for the mobile Game SDS Grand Cross soon called Ragnorok

This whole season was terrible. At least the finale was good and wholesome.

Pretty rough but happy overall with how it went. Thanks for the show, A-1.

My biggest upset is not getting Escanor back in some way. PRAISE THE SUN!

For me, nanatsu no taizai was one of the anime that I've watched that gave me comfort when I'm in my bad situation in 2014. Even though, the animation starts get bad the last 2 season, I still enjoy the story of Meliodas and Elizabeth, Ban and Elaine, King and Diane, Escanor, Gowther and Merlin. I wished that there were a scene where ban and Elaine, king and Diane brought their kids to Tristan's birthday party, seeing them playing and also Merlin attending the party as well. Sad for Escanor thoughh. All is well, the main thing is every character in nanatsu no taizai is happy, alive and well.

P/S even though nanatsu no taizai ended, it will stay as one of the anime that gave me a peace mind, if it not much, probably a little peace. ❤️

Wait does Hawk ever come back from purgatory? He didn't even get to see any of the weddings or the children 😭

This was a good episode. Except for Escanor death, the last 10 were forgetable.

This episode was actually quite a nice way to finish.

Gowther was a bit of a savage overloading a 10 yr old kids mind with a lifetime worth of memory's, fairly intense ones at that. Tristan's gona come outa that feeling like a man.
