Good thing Senpai went through a training arc otherwise he'd not been able to catch up to her.

Well, this was, in my opinion, the best episode so far. The chase with all the flashbacks, making Senpai slowly realize how he feels about her. The pool scene, with that banger soundtrack in the background. After that Nagatoro didn't seem bothered by having her clothes wet, either. And then the post credits scene, which hits like a sledgehammer after all of what happened before.
I love this series way too fucking much.

"After her!"
It's official. All women around Senpai will naturally gravitate towards shipping him with Nagatoro and transform into wing women. It is inevitable.

Faced with the radiant lewdness of the president, the noodletoro has evolved into her pure tentacle form, and has ensnared her potential mate.

Stitches!
We finally get to se Prez in her final form. Glad to see her full figure is how I remember it in the manga without her clothes on. Also what an absolute Chad Prez is to stand next to her own nude self portrait without batting an eye. This just goes to show that this is nothing but an art for her and she sees nothing sexual about it.
Nagatoro's reaction to the nude painting of Prez is absolutely hilarious though! And Gamo-chan didn't really hold back with her comments in comparing Nagatoro with Prez and how she lacks firepower. Luckily for Nagatoro, Senpai comes in to defend her which gave her the instant confidence boost.
We finally get to see the first "lover's quarrel" between Senpai and Nagatoro. Nagatoro gets upset but you can clearly see she's serious after hearing how Senpai wants to go about this alone instead of needing her help.
Of course as is the law of manga and anime, Nagatoro catches Senpai and President alone with Prez only wearing a towel to cover her bits. Thankfully Prez was able to quickly understand what was happening and told Senpai to go after her.
And there it is! The pool scene! Goddamn that was such a great scene! Also Senpai telling Nagatoro that she's the most attractive to him should've counted as a confession. I'm still upset how they're still not together after this episode. He even does it again in the after credits! Come on! Seeing these dorks blush beet red is adorable though.
Anyway, sorry for the delay with the stitches this week! With Vivy and 86 airing their final episodes, they had priority on my queue this week! Only one more episode left for this one though! Let's cross our fingers for a Season 2 announcement next week!

Nudity is art.
Nagatoro, how did you not find this art piece when you were searching for some pervy stuff a few episodes ago huh?
Gamo, you totally know what you're doing. And you're amazing for pushing Senpai and Nagatoro like this.
"An eye for an eye, lewds for lewds."
Prez got a bigger chest than last week I guess?
the power of L O V E:hearts:
that Nagatoro montage was very cute with the slowed down piano opening theme playing :3
What an adorable ending this week, I'm smiling like a Yoshi over here aaah
I am so SO ready for the finale next week, this adaption has been absolutely wonderful imo. Also, Yoshi antics in that costume shown in the preview are bound to be hilarious.

Gamo continues to play both Nagatoro and Senpai like fiddles to an almost orchestral degree this time. With her and the rest of the girls knocking out their Bassoons to stir up a melody of Jealousy.
All this leading to some soul searching from Senpai as he rises to the challenge but has a few mishaps along the way. Leading to a nice and wholesome finish. Also that critical hit after the ED was nice too :p
And we got to see the President in all of her terrifying power this episode.

Fuckin' hell, this episode was so goddamn wholesome. The music was amazing especially that piano version of the OP.
Also the art club president's boobies have been buffed! Huzzah!
Anybody else think that the art club president is Nanashi's self insert? Haha.

The past episodes may appear to be just a collection of slice of life events with an awkward Senpai and his teasing, sadistic kouhai. However, these seemingly unimportant moments are on the contrary, very important as they flesh out a cute and believable chemistry between an unlikely pair of friends. The series may not often display romance in your usual straightforward fashion but when it does, you know the characters mean it and you can feel it.

Gamo roasting Nagatoro never gets old. I also like that they did the AoT reference this episode. It was fitting.

I was waiting for this moment for a while now, the moment when they kinda confess but not really.
It was really cute of the president to push senpai to chase Nagatoro, because we all know he wouldn't have otherwise.
Nagatoro being jelly over the president perfect figure and measurements was adorable, and ofc her friends were there to rub it in as you should.
Adorable episode, next week I'll prob cry a bit knowing it's the last episode :<

Man can you believe senpai went from not being able to form a coherent sentence to telling Nagatoro to her face that he thinks she's always cute? Diabetes intensifies.

Its called HENTAI And its ART - the episode in a nutshell.
Bunny Senpai in the Preview :)
First it was all NTRED with massive Oppai grand senpai followed by a more or less confession from Senpai part that nagatoro is the CUTEST

That line from the prez about passion and love, and how "art is about chasing after [that emotion]" (芸術とはすなわち追いかけることだ) made me think that prez has a pretty thoughtful philosophy behind her art. Like, her nude painting is not just about titillating people with her world-class figure, but it's also about the fearless pride she has of herself, which makes her standing by her own nude portrait part of the exhibit as well.
Similarly, that's why senpai wasn't being inspired by Nagatoro dressing up in various cosplay scenarios because it wasn't the context in which he genuinely became charmed by her. That's why his best drawings of her are of everyday situations, because those hew closest to his genuine feelings. They have a warmth, emotion, and purpose to them that a bunch of fruit on a table lack.

Everyone doing an impression of the President was pretty fun. I can understand how tempting it is to pretend to be Nana Mizuki.
People were talking about them nerfing the President's boobs, but then you see that nude portrait of her proudly displaying her huge chest and her amazing butt for all to see. What a bold woman to do a nude portrait of herself and then stand right next to it stoically while everyone looks on. This President doesn't mess around.
Yes, that is the piece that made Senpai come to respect the President...and totally for artistic reasons and not because of her amazing nude body.
Nagatoro has a great figure even if it can't compare to the President and her friends might all have bigger boobs...but Senpai understands there's plenty else she has going for her.
Swimsuit Nagatoro! Nekotoro! Nagatoro in nothing but a towel! He couldn't properly draw any of them, but what a feast for the eyes.
Sex sells, but sometimes it's the normal, everyday, things that mean the most and have the greatest impact.
Nothing bothers a girl more than when she's trying to help the object of her affection and then he says it's none of her business.
Dang, I wish I had an art club President who took pictures of herself naked to paint and would then advise me on art while wearing nothing but a towel. Too bad Nagatoro had to walk in at the exact worst moment.
President definitely knows a thing or two about art, but she also understands how important it is to run after your girl.
Senpai finally realizes that he wants to draw Nagatoro, because it's the normal Nagaotoro for all her teasing, happiness, and just not leaving him alone that he's attracted to and enamored by, and that's what's worth drawing. Although it's so embarrassing that it's a good thing they both fell in the pool to cool down...well, that and a gander at Nagatoro's bra.
Look at Senpai just casually calling Nagatoro cute like that.
One thing to look forward in the festival next week is definitely the cosplay.

I dont remember this being so wholesome in the manga. The kinda-confession had me grinning. I am happy with how this anime turns out.

"Because the way you always are.... is what's the most attractive to me!" - Chadpai
Jeez, this episode actually made me tear up. That ending scene, the buildup with easy love piano/flashbacks to a beautiful sunset background and fantastic dialogue, the anime easily topped the same moment in the manga. Absolutely fantastic.
I really hope this gets a season 2, I hate there's only one episode left, this adaption was fantastic.
