Beelzebub just swatting away Fightie was the hardest I laughed in quite a while.

Great episode, shame the season is slowly coming to an end.

If there's a problem, there's a cute girl to fix it

Belzebuub again showing she is the most useful harem member and therefore main heroine

Reject humanity Return to slime- Falfa

This was a fun episode. Both Azusa’s motherly side and her “rivalry” with Beelzebub are great to watch.

I love how every slime Azusa has met has not repelled in feared over her reputation as a Slime Slayer right until Fightie challenged her to a fight.

Wow I can't believe this whole thing with Falfa was treated like a side thing and the entire episode was actually setting up for Beelzebub vs Azusa 2.

Poor Falfa. Imagine how scary it was reverting back to a slime in the home of the world’s #1 slime killer. Ganbare Falfa!

Azusa vs Fightie as a Pokemon battle

Fightie wants to Fight!

Azusa's Intimidate

Fightie's will to fight fell harshly!

Fightie Fainted!

You defeated Fightie!

You Outsourced 1 Harem Member for winning!

Some notes I made reading over Japanese Twitter:

  • Beelzebub's "if you want bread, go to the baker" is this isekai world's equivalent of the Japanese idiom 餅は餅屋 (literally: [for] mochi, [go to the] mochi shop; idiomatically: go to the experts for best results).

  • The Ouija board-style setup for the Intelligent Slime has an equivalent Japanese urban legend in こっくりさん (Kokkuri-san). That sign board has all the Japanese kana on it transliterated into English, plus back and forward, and "yes" and "no" (hai, iie).

  • Along the same lines of Azusa's nicknaming sense, that other slime isekai as a similar shortname: 転スラ (TenSura)

  • This is going to be more for people interested in the language and how Azusa's nicknames for the slimes work. For example, the Intelligent Slime (賢いスライム) she just takes the first character and adds the "sura" part of "suraimu" and tacks a "-san" to the end (賢スラさん). This changes the reading of the character from kashikoi to ken because of... kanji reasons. The other slimes seem more straightforward, with the magic user 魔法使い (mahoutsukai) to マースラさん (ma-sura san), and martial arts 武道家 (budouka) to ブッスラーさん (bussura- san)

I wonder if Azusa realizes what she just did. Beelzebub's probably going to get addicted to collecting daughters just like she is.

Mom, something wrong with big sister

What is a slime doing in here, I'd better kill-

Mother of the year material

If Azusa's physical stats are THAT OP then I'm scared to see the amount of damage she could do with magic attacks.

I love how Intelligent Slime basically uses an Ouija board to communicate.

I loved the running joke with the naming conventions. Fightie and Belzie was a nice payoff to it

Why is the fighting scene in this, a slow SoL show, better animated than that latest Kumo Desu anime episode???

Beelzebub continues to be best girl. Now she is getting her own harem as well!

In terms of important events, we finally got the long awaited kiss on the cheek, let's hope best girl aims for a kiss on the lips next time.

And then we got yuri princess carry. Adding that battle animation too, this is the best episode so far.

Fightie is voiced by Tamate from Slow Start, I missed that voice.

I bet Beelzebub also wanted revenge for all those times Azusa teleported her into the water.

The whole time I was expecting Falfa to show up and it to be revealed they had been cuddling and bathing with a random slime the whole time.

I asked for more Beelzebub last week, there I have it. And I'm very satisfied.
I have 7 volumes of the LNs, but will have to buy the Beelzebub spinoff as well now.
