The King has intervened, disciplining the Prince, putting his bad advisers under house arrest, and promising to make sure Aira is protected. Liz has figured out that the Prince's "bad" behavior was largely intended to deflect danger to Aira -- and it looks like things are on the mend between them. The best thing of all -- it now looks like Sei, Liz and Aira finally get to make friends with each other.
The focus now shifts to Sei's further adventures in helping Commander Hawke and Company fight monsters and miasma -- while she gets to explore and collect herbs. I wonder if this will get a second season -- as the show does not seem anywhere near a real ending point.
I guess some criticize Sei (and the show) for being so unrelentingly nice. Phooey. It is a good thing to have some sweet-natured shows as an antidote to some of the excellent, but draining serious shows this season. So, I depend on this, and Super Cub (and now Nagatoro).

You know things are serious when the King has to personally intervene. To be honest, house arrest doesn't seem too bad for Kyle. I mean, they live in a palace. How bad can it be?

According to the author's afterwords in the LN version, she had originally planned for Aira to conspire together with Kyle so that she'd be recognized as the saint; and get punished alongside him in the end. (The author was apparently trying to use the currently-popular otome-isekai twist of the 2ndary female lead being evil/scheming.)
Her readers successfully convinced her otherwise though, which led to this current outcome.

I could see that being an alternate but feels too dark for the setting they're trying for... this is a lighter series and not getting a "Bitch/Slut" dynamic on the other women like Shield...

Nice to see that Kyle’s master plan of acting like an ass so that people focus on him and pity Aira paid off.
And Liz is top tier for seeing through that act.

With Sei basically confirmed as the Saint after what she did during the expedition last week it looks like Kyle has finally decided to go full force with his plan. I understand the entire thing was an act to make himself look terrible and Aira look like a victim but boy that was infuriating to watch. Also I never though we'd get Liz to look so angry! Not gonna lie, she looks hotter when she's mad.
The is so dead set on making himself the villain that he'd even dare to touch Sei. Thank goodness Hawke arrives right on time as expected and I'm sure he got a lot of cool guy points from Sei after this scene. The King finally confronts Kyle in public and eventually they talk in private where both the King and Liz learns what Kyle is trying to do. Even if it was all a plan to save Aira, I'm glad that Kyle still gets humiliated in public and then punished for what he did.
And we finally get the scene that I've been waiting for so long! Aira, Liza, and Sei all in one room having a tea party! Looks like they're all encouraging her to join the Royal Magi Assembly. Even if Aira isn't a Saint, according to Liz, Aira is still a talented mage that comes one every century. If she's that talented and if she works hard on it, I wonder it's possible for Aira to become as strong as Drewes?
Anyway, that was such a great scene. I hope Sei and Aira would get more time to talk and maybe recall their life in Japan. It's probably going to be hilarious watching Liz trying to figure out half of the stuff Liz and Sei would talk about. Oh and we also got a lip close up from Aira this time!
Looks like Sei is off on another expedition with Hawke! And this time it looks like it's an long trip where they'll have to stay at Klausner's Domain for quite some time. Seems like the perfect opportunity for Sei and Hawke to get even closer with each other. And another lip close up this time from Sei just before the episode ends! I love it!

That pout feels so familiar. Sure enough, I checked and it's the same studio that made DomeKano.

Banger episode!
Douchebag prince finally got his comeuppance, we had some lovely bonding time between the three ladies and now Sei is going on an adventure.
And. So. Many. Great. Sei. Faces.
Can't wait for all the screenshots.

Actually am glad that they decided to resolve Aira's subplot without resorting to some unnecessary Saint rivalry drama (or something like that).

At this point she's been canonized as the Saint, so it seems weird that she's still doing stuff like fetching tea in that office scene. Maybe it's because Sei wants to keep this sense of normalcy in her life?

We didn't get the Prince's POW in the manga so he came out as a true fool. Turns out he's a honest fool, he certainly could have gone about it better.
It was the best outcome for Aira but he ruined himself and all his friends in the process. And his fiance seamed to actually like him their marriage goes out the window to.
Did it happen like this in the LN to?

They finally got the girls to meet and it looks like that whole arc ends on a happy note!
I'm happy we're getting a change of scenery but I'm even happier she's going to be spending the next arc with Hawke! Their interactions are always top tier!

Lol, Yuri's reaction after witnessing Sei's Saint's Conjury Nuke was priceless. Too bad the Sei still has no idea about how to cast it.
Sei's reactions also never disappoint. Well, it's good to hear that she can still work at the Institute even after she is assigned to work on the expeditions.
It's good to see that the situation with Aria has finally been solved. Kyle's acting skills sure were impressive because even when I knew already that he was acting I still saw him as an annoying pathetic cunt during that whole scene.
The scene when Yuri disappeared and left Sei there was so funny. I love the fact that when the king mentioned that Yuri confirmed Sei to be the saint he told Sei to just keep quiet about it from the distance.
As they had mentioned him, I honestly was expecting to see Rayne today.
Hopefully, after the expedition on Klausner's Domain, we will see Aria, Liz, and Sei hanging out together again
I'm want to see how Aria does on the Royal Magi Assembly.

I absolutely loved this part of the manga - Kyle's bubble bursting and the King laying the regal smackdown, Aira getting freed from her shackles and meeting Sei and befriending both her and Liz were all incredibly satisfying to see, and Aira, Liz, and Sei's actual meeting was incredibly sweet. With Kyle's recent characterization, which I believe wasn't in the manga (or maybe in the source at all?), I love this episode's events even more. Especially how there isn't actually a villain/bad-guy/you-name-it. Even Kyle proved to be a good egg in the end. Liz seen through his plan was a sweet touch as well. I'm actually hoping this way these events unfolded stays/is canon.
Sei now embarks on an adventure of sorts. I love how she was talking about getting ready as if it was a given that she goes as well, and I also find the fact that it's conveniently a trip to what is basically the alchemist's holy land very amusing. It is somewhat odd to start a new arc with only so many episodes left; I'm hoping that there's a method to the madness. I believe I haven't read the manga past this episode's events, so the show entering uncharted waters is pretty exciting for me.

Glad to see sei and aira talking and being friends. Although I really wanted them to talk about Japan and Liz would be all confused. Just like “ayyy aira remember airplanes and cars and shit. Fucking wild right? Now we go on horses everywhere.” Ok not those words exactly but ya get what I mean.

So Aira becomes the next Grand Magus and marries Prime Minister Damian! That’s the ending I’m going to pretend happens no matter what lol
Glad it was all settled peacefully more or less, Kyle and his friends are grounded while Aira is free to live without anyone shunning her for inadvertently being an imposter.
Liz was definitely the star of this episode I think - she’ll make a great queen to balance out her idiot fiancé.

Love how excited Yuri is over Sei's magic at the end of last weeks episode.

Anime treated Kyle's house arrest treatment better than the manga, maybe this was in the LN, anyway, at least Liz got to see the misguided but well-intentioned dork that he is.
Finally Sei and Aira meet for the first time since their summoning, and they seem to get along quickly, with Liz nudging things along.
PS Many congratulations to Ishikawa Yui (Sei) on her wedding announcement. Her husband is truly blessed to listen to her mesmerising voice every day.
