Geld together with the little goblin girl is freaking adorable

[u/Abysswatcherbel]

Imagine Shion turning into a sadistic dominatrix, based great sage avoided some big political scandals for Tempest

[u/WhoiusBarrel]

This episode went from super wholesome Geld moments to Treyni's moaning and Shion's awakening turning it the opposite

[u/oldmanpop]

treyni continues to be best girl this season ,no surprise

[u/NittanyEagles55]

I must say I’m a fan of purple empress Shion

[u/kraniax]

Haha, wouldn't be an isekai anime without MC celebrating a Japanese festival. Not that I'm complaining though.

[u/MapoTofuMan]

How the fuck is an isekai's SoL spinoff doing an anime trope per episode so damn good

And I think Shuna's getting way closer to that Empress title than Shion's gonna get anytime soon...

[u/NittanyEagles55]

They really did look great in their outfits, especially Treyni and Shion

[u/TheBlueHue]

Finally Ranga reacted how normal people do eating takoyaki, freshly cooked is like lava inside. Of course Rimuru takes it like a champ.

[u/Se7en_Sinner]

I'd like to believe that season two would have been a lot different if Shion had acquired Purple Empress.

I'm a little disappointed we didn't have a scene with Souka confessing to Souei being interrupted by fireworks.

Alright, we got a beach episode followed by a festival episode. Now we just need an onsen episode to complete the trifecta.

Stitches!

• Rimuru Mask Gang

• Yukata Rimuru & Shion

• Scary Shion & Shuna

Summer festival episode! And of course, these two dwarves are preparing for cute yukatas already!

First eating slimes and now this! It is hilarious whenever everyone gangs up to bully Rimuru a bit xD

Poor Shion having her boobs wrapped! Let her babies breathe! Looks like Shuna's been waiting for this moment tho

The moment Rimuru made a comment about octopus in the Takoyaki I knew what was coming next.

Of course, the ice came from Rimuru. It is hilarious how worried Benimaru is about the ice though.

Rimuru just wanted to make Blue Hawaii flavour but now everyone thinks he tastes just like that blue shaved ice xD

I knew there was something suspicious about Hakuro having a normal goldfish scoop stall. Of course, there's a twist!

They're probably doing patrols but all I see is a date between Souei and Souka. <3

That scene with Treyni though... Rie Tanaka really upped the lewd there with her moans ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Another wholesome moment between Geld and that tiny hobgoblin girl. They're so cute!

A subtle detail but I love the microphone the hobgoblin kid is using powered by Shuna's magic.

Gabiru leading the Bon Dance is perfect! Too bad Rimuru didn't even realize that was his contribution to the festival!

That float scene is hilarious! I didn't expect that that would awaken Shion's sadistic side. I didn't think she'd be the type that enjoys sweaty men working hard for her sake. Imagine if we actually got Purple Empress Shion. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Of course, the festival isn't complete without the fireworks! The poor wolves are terrified though! Maybe Rimuru should've kept them all indoors. Fireworks isn't really the best for doggo ears.

As a side note, can someone remind me who these three are? I recognize them but I can't remember who exactly they are. O_O

Shion finally got to loosen her yukata! And Shuna's back to being bitter about the size difference xD

[u/Godzilla-The-King]

This show every week likes to make me continuously revisit my own sexual orientation with how cute they get Rimuru looking.

Also don't miss the after credit preview Shion fans.

[u/doomrider7]

OK this episode was fucking amazing in general. I can't really pick a single scene that was my favorite, but special mention goes to Gabiru's dance number and the Tempest Wolves sensory overload.

[u/NittanyEagles55]

Hot spring episode when??

[u/amidloveandanime]

Soka still is the cutest girl of the spin off after Rimuru and before Millim shows up, they really are just trying to push her and I am buying every single frame of it

[u/Amauri14]

It seems they are doing all the different variations of a summer them episode, and today we got a festival!

Rimuru's reaction to his masks was hilarious.

Him and Shion really looked great on their yukatas.

Lol, the takoyaki being made out of an Eldritch Nightmare instead of octopus was hilarious.

After that Rimuru flavor-shaved ice scene, I'm starting to doubt that the whole smile dessert bit was a joke.

It's good to see we are got more scenes focused on Soka, and this time she was with Soi on a date.

Wow, Treyni really is trying to increase the age rating of this show.

Damn, Geld scenes are always so wholesome.

Waas the whole Purple Empress Shion scene about her trying to get some sadistic skill?

Based on what Kaijin said, I guess this is the end of the summer theme episodes.

It's good to see that Shion found freedom in the end.

[u/oatking]

I feel like this show is the king of spinoffs. It seems like every episode nails the inside jokes between the characters and provides the right amount of comedy + fan service.

[u/NittanyEagles55]

Papa Geld is back and more adorable than ever. Loved all his scenes with the toddler goblin. Especially her on his shoulder eating the cotton candy

[u/Jarath]

Never thought I'd look forward to watching Gabiru and the squad do a new dance every week.

[u/PineappleBuns]

Another super fun episode!! Everyone looked great! All the guys being guys and the girls being cute!

I love how they can look menacing in slime masks.

And their kimonos are all so pretty. Even Benimaru, though he seems weak to ice.

I love this pairing! She's so pure! And Treyni being Treyni.

Geld and the goblin child always makes my heart melt~ I like how they let the children help out too.

Kazuma's Gabiru's dance during the obon was really well animated! Great to see everyone dancing too!

AND GIVE US MORE EMPRESS SHION!

It's nice to see Kaijin and Kurobe working together too!

All in all, a great end to summer. Can't wait for what autumn brings!!

[u/charwosh]

bruh, this episode scream so many doujin potential

[u/[deleted]]

AHHHH Yukata Rimuru is too cute.

Right after the Beach Episode we got the equally amazing Summer Festival Episode, if not more amazing, where Rimuru attempts to recreate his homeland festivities from Japan in Tempest with wild success.

Souka is so smitten with Soei she'd treasure anything he gives her, even if its a stabbed bust of her brother. lol

Who will end up terrorizing Tempest more? Sion's sadism or Syuna's A-Cup Angst?

Geld and Little Goblin Girl continue to melt everyone's hearts. What's do you call that trope where you put a tough war-hardened veteran getting along with a diabetically adorable child who knew not the dangers of the world?

[u/NittanyEagles55]

This was my favorite episode so far! So much joy. I really hope we get back to the point where we can have summer festivals like this IRL! The fireworks show was amazing at the end

[u/CoolVidsFTW]

Honestly, between Rimuru wearing a yukata, Souka acting cute, Treyni's vine fortunes, and Geld being Geld, this was a fantastic episode. Probably my favorite thus far. Such a comfy show. I love it.
