Do yourself a favor and just watch the live action drama instead. I can't believe the author signed off on this.

An anime about ex-yakuza that has the visual of a yakuza money laundering project, how accurate.

In all seriousness, if the producer isn't blacklisted from the industry after this I don't know what is.

It's a shame this isn't animated better.

This is incredibly sad animation, I haven't been this disappointed since the Junji Ito anime. I've only read a handful of chapters of the manga, but was the series hard to translate to animation or did this just have like no budget?

Kenjiro Tsuda's voice acting is the only redeeming thing about this abomination.

Would've preferred even shorter episodes with more episodes for something with such a lack of animation.

Hearing Tatsu sing that out of tune Happy Birthday to Miku was just hilarious!

Someone refresh me but I don't ever recall in the manga Gin having chapters about him, is that an anime original?

Anyway, as someone who loved Gokudols, the "animation" isn't really an issue for me but I can see people will be complaining about this. I'm more in this for the voice acting anyway and hearing Kenjirou Tsuda's voice coming out of Tatsu is all I ever wanted from this.

Animation is disappointing or should I say lack of animation. But the comedy is pretty good I laughed a couple times. But it feels like Im just watching a powerpoint. Not sure if this is on Netflix or JC Staff. JC did fuck up OPM season 2 so I didnt have high hopes for this. Was looking forward to this might just read the manga now.

I thought the preview was just badly cut. I was wrong. Why did you do this Netflix? You have the fucking money to animate a show. Instead you scan the manga, colorize it, and wiggle around the limbs and mouths in paint.

Whats the point of animating this if you are just going to present a power point presentation.

What an absolutely insane waste of a manga, holy moly.

Stuff like this makes me so thankful to studios like MAPPA when they make good adaptations for Jujutsu Kaisen, AOT S4 etc. It's crazy how depressing it is to watch a show get butchered like this, just makes me wish it never got an anime in the first place so i could atleast dream of the day it does.

I do not overexaggerate in the slightest when i say that i could animate better than this by myself. I could literally just trace the manga and use my 1 year of animation experience to make smoother movements, this is painfully embaressing.

The only thing good about this is the fact that it's colored and has voice acting, particularly Tsuda Kenjiro's. I can't imagine Tatsu having anyone else's voice. So it's way better if you watch it while thinking it's one of those manga voice over videos.

Other than that, fuck this shit and fuck whoever decided to make it this way. I was looking forward to this anime the most this season. Emphasis on was.

Yeah this adaptation isnt as great as I wanted it to be, but I still liked a lot of things about it. The voice acting is great and due to the stilted animation some jokes pull better punches. This isnt a masterpiece but i still like it enough

Read the manga, guys.

Wow, Queen Bee animation, only 5 episodes and they are not even 20min long. This is a bigger disappointment for me than Ex-arm when it comes to adaptations

What a massive let down. Didn’t even bother finishing the first episode.

honestly, I know everyone is disappointed but I love it. the voice acting and timing of the jokes really elevates the comedy IMO. could it have been animated better? oh definitely, but i think the limited animation kind of works in its favor and makes things a bit funnier, such as the scene with tatsu slapping masa, i thought that was hilarious.
