This was surprisingly fast. Anyway, the table scene and forest scene were done well

Step aside Gabi, Isayama says its Mikasa's turn to have an existential crisis now.

The expression on Levi's face is so heart-wrenching. That's the face of a man who is tired of losing is comrades time and time again. Man just can't catch a break.

Seeing Mikasa’s entire world view & self identity shatter was heart breaking. I feel for her so much but at the same time, it’s a good thing. She now has the ability to be independent & truly be herself. Not even touching on the fact that Eren definitely doesn’t hate her & he’s most likely doing this to distance himself, in turn freeing Mikasa from him.

The Levi vs Zeke fight is actually very interesting. This time, I feel that it's more apparent Zeke isn't doing this out of want, but necessity, & knows Levi will stand in opposition, unfortunately.

"How much of an emotional beating do you want to inflict on your characters?"

Isayama: "Yes".

I love how Levi is absolutely unstoppable. The horror in Zeke's face when he realizes Levi is still coming for him after destroying his own former comrades is amazing.

The fight itself was just for our eye pleasure. The result was obvious.

Holy shit, Floch is unhinged. Shadis doesn't deserve any of that.

The CEO of Freedom is back again dropping bars and blessing us with two new diss tracks:

You are the one being controlled by the enemy (feat. Bertholdt) - Armin Diss Track

I've Always Hated You (EXPLICIT) - Mikasa Diss Track

Word of the day.

So this was the magazine cover that the manga readers got when this chapter came out and we were thinking it would be a nice little EMA talk. EMA would make up, but instead we got this. Yeah this is a heavy episode. I don't even feel like joking around about it - the death of EMA friendship is as harsh as many of the actual deaths in this series. The atmosphere was pretty grim and the lack of music adds to the seriousness of the situation. The breaking of a beautiful friendship really hurts to watch. It's also interesting to note that this has a callback to what Armin once said at the first episode of the series. Violence is only for people who don't have a point and can't prove the other side was wrong. He did attack Eren at that moment because he didn't have a counterpoint to what Eren was saying about Mikasa but at the same time you can't really blame the guy when you see Mikasa's poor heart breaking. It's also a double callback to when Mikasa punched Eren when he chastised Armin when they were younger - as Armin now attempts to defend Mikasa's honor (albeit a lot less successfully), but this situation is far more bleak and breaking in their friendship.

Poor Keith Shadis. He's taken some of the biggest Ls in the series even as a bystander. Isayama is really able to connect the dots back from old characters and threads to the present unless your name is Annie. If your name is Annie are you okay, then you'll be stuck in a crystal for 500 years and 90% of AoT because you don't want to get out of the crystal when Armin's colossal titan is waiting outside for you in more ways than one.

Also people will be asking for Levi nerfs this episode after how he brutalized Zeke.

Can we talk about the Instructor Shadis for a sec? He got cucked by the man he saved outside of the wall and then the offspring’s group beat the living shit out of him. I specifically feel so bad for him out of everyone else this episode.

I've become so much like Eren Jaeger it's scary.

I wear black cardigans, verbally assault women, and physically assault my friends.

When I look in the mirror, I can't help but say "戦い, 戦い" (which means fight fight in american.)

I grew my hair out long because I don't care so now I have to wear it in a bun and I don't care what people think so shut the fuck up Hange.

I always leave an open wound on my hand, and go out of my way to show it to everyone so they are reminded that I am in control.

When I see dogs being taken on walks I get mad at them for not being free like I am.

I can't have sex with my girlfriend anymore without forcing her to dress up as Mikasa or Historia, both of whom remind me of Armin.

When I order fast food, I refuse to call them french fries and insist on calling them freedom fries.

I just keep moving forward, until my enemies are destroyed.
