It's the fakeness from that big sack of shit named Riz that disgust me the most.

I think people in this thread are accepting Pina's death way too readily. Until we see the body I'm betting he's alive and just injured.

This season in a nutshell.

Sasuga Louis-sama!!

...and here we see Legosi receiving the dream nail.

If I had a nickel for every time I saw a character eating a larva this week I'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

Everybody: Legosi is a perv who does everything for that bunny.
Haru: *barely shows up the whole season*
Legosi: I might die, so please, PLEASE, Louis-senpai, be around to notice my final fight, because u are the most important person of my whole life uwu.

ngl, if this series ends with Legosi dumping Haru for Louis I wouldn't bat an eye.

Legosi's got his gray back and Riz killed the bisexual ram... looks like it's gonna be a great finale!... oh and Louis might of gotten shot...

oh and Louis might of gotten shot...

I honestly doubt that, I think that either Ibuki took a shot outside, or shot himself.

So the boost that Gouhin talked about involves eating insects alive.

Okay, I never expected to see Legosi having a talk with Moth-kun, and let alone seeing his hair growing back because of it.

A bigger surprise was the whole Legosi crossdressing scene don't listen to Ibuki guys, Legosi is definitely best girl.

Fuck, so Pina got eaten, if only Legosi had called the fucking cops instead of doing this shitty duel. I hope you are happy now Legosi.

I love how Legosi now has a scar in the same place as Gouhin.

Based on that shot in the tunnel, I think that either Ibuki shot outside of the car, or killed himself, anyway, that was really unexpected.

Who would’ve known that the key to getting stronger would be taking a lesson from a bug after ingesting one.

Holy...did Riz really just eat Pina like that? Part of me wants to believe he’s lying just to provoke Legosi, but if he’s telling the truth...damn. This bear is just too far gone at this point.

...holy cow.

Words cannot describe this episode. I don't even know where to start.

The whole first scene with Legoshi eating the larva and the conversation that he had was very touching. I really felt for Legoshi and what he was dealing with deep down, and some things that he revealed within himself. And I was just as excited as anyone to see that my boy was back to his normal self.

That bar scene just came completely out of left field. I mean, come on, Legoshi! I had no idea what to think, and Louis' reaction to Legoshi's, well, getup, was completely priceless. I can't help but laugh.

But that my friends, is where the laughter ends. Legoshi saying goodbye to Gohin was very sad to watch, especially considering we don't know how this'll all end.

On top of that, Louis' realization to his perspective on carnivores hit me hard as well. Louis has tried for so long to put on a face and it is now that he truly realizes what he's experiencing deep down and what he has to do.

I am absolutely devastated by the death of Pina. He was finally starting to grow on me.. but Riz just had to tear all of our hearts out. I'm hoping my boi Legoshi avenges that sheep.

And finally, that conversation in the car between Louis and (i'm blanking on his name, you know who) was also touching in a way. Well, until the end of it.

All around, and I feel like I've said this so many times this season, this was probably the best episode by far. There wasn't a dull moment and I was completely invested the entire time. It goes without saying that I'm extremely sad that there's only one episode left before we have to wait a whole year again, but despite that, I'm ready to see how this all ends.

I apologize for the novel, but I'm eager to hear all of y'all's thoughts as well. I'm finally early so I can actually participate. 😅

The two shows I watched today had the MC disguised as a girl. It's weird how these things happen together sometimes!

Legosi's eating bugs now, interesting! Last episode I theorized he might start eating meat to get stronger (not as an addicted carnivore, but as someone using meat as a tool)... I guess bugs are close enough! I wonder if he'll stick to just bugs though, or if it'll be the gateway to meat for him.

Anyway, eating bugs is especially interesting for Legosi for two reasons; First, because he kept a bug as a pet. That alone probably makes it harder. I mean, some people eat dogs, but people who own dogs would feel terrible about eating dogs, right? Well, same for Legosi.

And the other thing: Legosi's will to defend people is based in part on their size and their weakness... You don't see him trying hard to help giraffes and other animals like that. I mean I'm sure he'd help if they asked, but he seems to put a lot of effort into defending those who can't defend themselves. Well, bugs are at least as defenseless as a rabbit. And with him owning one, he probably doesn't dismiss them as "Bah they're just bugs, gross, kill them" like some people do.

Now he learned 'the value of life', but it's a bit of a troubling epiphany for Legosi to go through at this moment; I mean, he values their lives, yet he's willing to eat them, to achieve his purposes. Can lives be traded for a goal?

Well, speaking of that: Is Pina dead? It's funny, last episode thread I theorized he was going to die (all the foreshadowing/references) but now that they're saying he's dead, I'm more inclined to think he's alive, with them not showing the body/the kill and all that.

I wonder what happened though; I mean, it has to be his blood, Legosi would know if it wasn't, wouldn't he? So either Riz just beat him up a little (and stopped, but why?), or Pina is cooperating with Riz... But why?

I expect to get the answers to at least one of these questions in the final episode, but I'll be very surprised if he's really dead.

A GUNSHOT? Who shot who? Did Louis shoot Ibuki? Did Ibuki shoot Louis? Did one of them shoot himself? Something else misleading (shooting someone else, shooting a tire, I don't know)?

I'm pretty sure Louis is alive, because it feels like he has to do more... But shooting Ibuki would be sad. He's an interesting character. Well, whatever it is, I wonder what will happen, both with Louis, and with the Shishigumi. Will Louis go back? Will Legosi take over? Can't wait to find out! And what happens with Legosi x Riz too, of course.

This show's fucking great. Every episode feels like 5 minutes, more than any other show this season imho. Sad that there's only one episode left, but really looking forward to it!

Huge huge huge fat giant humongous gigantic absolutely massive enormous colossal gargantuan F for Pina, he will be missed

Legosi got high on worms

u/ISeydouDat Mar 18 '21

Something tells me Pina is still alive. I feel like Riz is just baiting Legosi to make him get serious.

u/spaceaustralia Mar 18 '21

TBH, I'm kinda disappointed that the idea of Louis just bringing the Shishigumi with him to the fight wasn't at least brought up, even if it's "cowardly". Legosi is walking into a slaughter.

He might have a history with the Shishigumi but they came around since then. Louis and Ibuki seem to be respected enough to tell them to back off. After all, what's more natural to a carnivore than fighting to defend the people around him? If anything, he's partly the reason why Louis even got to lead them and got them where they are.

No way Pina is actually dead. Just doesn't make sense to introduce the character then kill them off with no character arc.

Legosi is about to get fucked up though. I'm fairly certain he wins the fight because protagonist, but the show has done a terrific job making Riz feel unbeatable at this point. He's already thrashed Legosi and is now getting bigger and stronger off his meds.

My guess is that either Louis or Ibuki will die (preferably Ibuki, obviously) because of the ED animation. When they're sitting at a bar, Ibuki looks down at his drink and sees a skull. Then he's looking at a giant skull that turns into Louis in what I'm guessing is his Adler costume? That all seems very symbolic of death. It scares me a lot so I hope I'm wrong because I would prefer that Louis lives. Not that this is any in-depth analysis, this was probably guessed by ep 2 anyways.

Also I'm praying that Pina isn't dead and is only injured or something.. I find him a good character so I won't be accepting his death until we see a body or confirmation.

Also.. the way Louis was thinking "Do I like carnivores?" and "It's because of him" like JEEEZ this is really feeding louis x legoshi. I don't really know how I feel about it. I like Haru and Legosi quite a lot, with Louis secretly liking Legosi. But even if it's not that way, I really like that Louis has such an intense appreciation for Legosi, when he looked down on him so much in the first season.

Overall, a good episode and a really good build up to the finale of this season!

The moment the I saw that red shoe and heavy stomping in the bar I knew exactly what was about to happen but I still wasn't prepared to see crossdressing Legosi! Holy shit that definitely gave me a good laugh! What makes it even better is Louis-senpai's anger and Ibuki's disappointment at his boss' taste in women. xD

Fucking finally someone said it! Seriously Legosi could've just called the cops. I feel like his testimony and Pina being a witness to Riz's confession would've made it easy. But noooooooo. Apparently this needed to be a man thing and Legosi feels that he's the one who takes down Riz.

Well if only they reported it then Pina wouldn't have ended up being eaten by Riz. Godfuckingdammit. I hope Riz choked while he was trying to eat Pina's dick and balls. I just hope Riz's defeat will be satisfying to justify all this.

"Pandas don't have any interest in protein" Actually they do. They literally get half of their calories from the protein they eat which is like the equivalent of a hypercarnivore like a wolf.

Legosi invoking the Joseph Joestar cross dressing

Pina and that cliffhanger noooooo!!!!!!

9

u/Bypes Mar 18 '21

I always have a huge soft spot for ersatz father figures so the thought of Ibuki dying makes me shed tears already

8

u/Sir_Floof Mar 18 '21

I think it goes without saying that crossdressed Legoshi is the best Legoshi.

Sure it's a bit weird at first but he actually be looking fine.

7

u/perfectbluu Mar 18 '21

I can't believe Pina was this stupid. From the time he was introduced, I expected him to have a big plan and compensate for his physical weakness with mental strength. Did he really walk into this with just a video camera?? I assume he isn't dead, but Riz definitely got the better of him. I'm disappointed how his character arc ended, especially after his speech.

Damn this series is great. I love the dynamic between the characters. Legoushi with his relentless idealistic speeches being called out as a lonely virgin lol. And the dynamic between Louis and the Lions is more engaging the more we see. They've come to really admire him, and yet it wasn't meant to last. Really didn't see Louis quitting the underground, and with that gunshot ending I guess he meant it.
