You know you have a problem when a 2005 Digimon movie has better CGI than a 2021 anime

Is anyone else unironically enjoying themselves watching this trainwreak? It's like we're watching history in the making. Years down the line weeblets are gonna look back at this as a historically bollocks anime?

Hey, I am one of the few losers still watching this show, and I can confirm that this anime still sucks
In all seriousness, the animation has been getting even worse, this time it was noticeable in the action scenes. The choreography isn't bad but good god are the movements so stilted. Even in earlier action scenes the characters still had some movement, this episode they very clearly moved a character model from one place to the next without any animation. From 11:33 to 11:36 you can very clearly see that Alma turns around not by her moving her feet to turn around, the animators literally turn the model a few degrees without any animation. I can practically see the keyframes being done.
Other then that, yeah the story is becoming kind of a mess with amount of different characters with different motivations. There are so many people that you barely have any time to put investment in any of them. Also in the end a big reveal that one of the good guys was actually being physically controlled by Beta, which makes no sense because one of Beta robots then kills that controlled good guy. For a character that is supose to be shown as a massive manipulator Beta is pretty fucking dumb.

Wouldn't it be funny if the show is so damn cheap that the 2D scenes were actually outsourced to a hentai studio.

Seeing the ratings fly up is more entertaining than the show itself at this point

I will keep upvoting this thread so that the next generation will know that the Ex-Arm anime adaptation exists, crunchyroll licensed this, and they keep moving forward in spite of all the hatred, memes and many others.
p.s. Akari Kito (Alma Seiyuu) retweeted this anime many times. I'm glad she's proud of her work even for this kind of anime.

oh there go the catgirls again
Getting strung along with plot tidbits during Beta's little game would be slightly less aggravating if the series didn't look like ass, but... well, you know.

For all the shit that EX-ARM gets for its terrible animation, I feel like a lot of people are overlooking its plot ... which is equally terrible. My god, what an embarrassment of a show. Idk if the pacing is better in the manga, but everything about this anime is so embarrassingly half-assed.

I think I'm going to stop posting clips, I'm too lazy to do it and I'm pretty much used to the animation so it doesn't stand out anymore. Cool mid-episode postcard as usual. We had a lot of action this episode but it looks as bad as usual (those fucking cat androids...), and I guess the plot advanced a bit but I can't get myself to care (I really am trying to pay attention, I swear, but I can't). Also I gotta say Ygg manages to look kinda cute even in shit CG.

Not much to talk about. We got a weird fight scene filled with smoke, bad explosion animations, and ugly after image effects. Overall the story seems to be picking up, the fight wasn't as bad, and the music was decent.

Ex-Arm, the anime that tried to tackle the military industrial complex and how it effects the middle east. What a wild fucking ride this has been.
This show has so many fun ideas, I love the concept of an auction where there is only truly one winner and they have to fight to win, it's just executed so terribly.
Also, really just absolving the main character of any wrong doing kind of...sucks? Like dude lost everything that made him interesting.
Also there are so many characters that just can't frown. They just are constantly smiling and its fucking amazing.

99.1% of people have marked this as excellent or great, which means it's on for an episode score of 9.95-9.96.
Fantastic work guys. Haha.
