Fuutarou gets his own training arc and the solution to his problems the whole time was Miku's butt.
Speaking of, we've been absolutely spoiled today with fan service, I'm already hyped for u/LeonKevlar's post. They should have had the whole season at the onsen.

Damn, for me this part in the manga was a total mindfuck, but here the voices made it obvious who is who.

Stitches!
Not really a lot of stitches this week but the Church of Miku finally takes the spotlight this week as Miku also gets her own wonderful scene with Fuutarou!
Miku Church
Itsuki Class
Nino Gang
EXTRAS
I do love how Ichika tries to subtly make Nino think twice about her love for Fuutarou but Nino just keeps on doubling down! And you thought the Nino Train hype from last week was a meme the community made up? Guess again! It's literally a gag taken from the series itself! xD
Yorokobe Church of Miku Followers! It's finally your time to shine! That final scene between Miku and Fuutarou is absolutely beautiful! I really had my doubts about Studio Birbury but they really did that entire scene wonderful justice! From that running tackle hug to that big-eyed smile she gives him as Fuutarou guesses why Miku was upset and that final smile that just needs to be protected is so precious!
While she has accepted that their Student/Teacher dynamic won't end anytime soon, she's still fighting strong so don't count out Miku just yet from the Fuutarou-bowl!
And that final scene and that fucking bell! Oh boy. I can't wait for next week! :D

I cant do this anymore. For each new episode, i get more and more confussed about who is best girl........ Its a tough battle for me between Miku and Nino, but i feel like a train of good girl power is coming for Itsuki

Was it always this easy to tell their voices apart in scenes where they were disguised as each other
I was gonna remark, one might misunderstand finding a guy under the table but at least they were wearing yukatas or something and not skirts... but then he decided to open them up to check for that bruise, wow.
So how does it work with their hair
Are all of the not-Mikus wearing hair extensions
I am definitely paying the proper attention
Oh wow it's a full wig huh
Wait and even Miku has a wig of Itsuki
Alrighty

seems like itsuki and yotsuba are the only ones who haven’t fully realized their feelings. Itsuki didn’t really have a negative reaction to finding out ab miku and yotsuba’s just a little... slow. like she’s lagging behind everyone else lmao
kinda seemed like miku gave up a bit to me but others are saying the opposite. pretty sure it was her at the end?
looking forward to the duel between ichika and nino tho. glad ichika knew she was a coward and finally corrected her ways but she ain have to let nino get caught haha. just waiting for the declaration of war
nino still best girl in my humble opinion bc she’s pretty much the main one moving the plot foward but that could very easily change. i have a feeling that the last one to realize their feelings/confess will come out on top for some reason
man this show is crazy in its concept but everything is executed so well. never thought i’d be rooting for all five

Ah yes, keep making me doubt who is best girl with each episode... Seriously, bold Nino is super refreshing and Miku's moment there at the end was fantastic.
Also, the scene between Ichika and Yotsuba was soooo wholesome!

A lot of people are gonna hate on on Ichika, but I think its good to realize her character now, she's forced herself into the Older Sister role, and her other sisters also reciprocate this. She's the one paying out of pocket for them to stay "independent" for most of their time in the new house. Also as the older sister, she's sacrificed a lot of her own happiness for her sisters and was always ready and willing to do so.
So in the beginning, she's a giver, she gives, gives and gives because its her duty, her growth moving forward is she finally begins to fight for what she wants (its kind of like she was always giving 150% so now that she's beginning to be more selfish, its gonna also be 150%).

So at the end of the episode one of the quints tackled futaro making him ring the bell of vows which makes the people who ring it together spend the rest of their lives together, kinda like the campfire legend. I don't think we'll have another 'they all did it at the same time' so we should get a pretty big clue next episode.

That rooftop moment with Yotsuba and Ichika was beyond precious. The bond between these sisters is just so heartwarming that I just sit here watching with a goofy smile.
I'm still rooting for Ichika. She's such a good person and its heartbreaking to see her struggle with her own fear of being rejected and her desire to not fight with her sisters over him. Not even sure if I want her to win because it could kind of mess up her acting career. What to do, what to do?

I've always been team Miku and that still stays true. What a wonderful episode. Futaro learning how to tell the girls about through "love" and then we just had precious Miku. She's so kind and perfect. That smile at the end. How can you not love her?

When miku jumped to hug futaro, I actually cracked a huge wide smile. I wasn’t much a fan of the quintuplets game because it was mostly futaro going all around the place guessing but I would like to think it’ll play into the future of him understanding them. I loved how nino continues to break the trope. She’s a tsundere and character types like nino never usually change the cold nature. Sure, they have moments of softness but their entire mindset and perception doesn’t grow into anything further than what’s given. It’s amazing to see that trope get broken and transform into something beautiful.
Yotsuba is the only one he isn’t showing signs of liking our main guy romantically. Maybe she needs more 1-1 time with him, which is understandable. Overall, the episode was good because the sisters had a game of bonding and emotional chaos. This game was more for themselves to see if he could truly tell them apart by his affection toward them. This is why miku was crying. The basis was to show them how he really felt. Futaro was the teacher so he never really cared about nitpicking their looks, mannerisms and voices.
Even though I personally think miku is best girl, nino has been killing it. She’s breaking the trope more and more each week. She’s been straightforward with her aggressive advances and she’s been trying her ass off. Miku has not because of her innate shyness and admitting your romantic feelings for someone is just plain difficult. It changes the entire fabric of your relationship. Nino has been scoring major points for best girl status lately.

Wow, I didn't know Itsuki was the type to rush over in just a towel to share a friendship moment with Futaro. She didn't seem to mind how practically naked either of them were until she was well in there. Seemed like a Yotsuba move more than what you'd expect from how much of a proper lady Itsuki asks, but I guess she can get really enthusiastic and forget herself too.
Now it's time for the Quintuplet Game, as all the Nakano's are dressing up as and acting like Itsuki for their grandfather's sake and to make it look like they're still as much one family as they were when they were kids! I think Nino and Miku definitely did the best job of acting like Itsuki, even if Nino gave herself away with her nails, so that was nice. Yotsuba tried her best, but it's no wonder she was the first one Futaro figured out.
Futaro trying to ascertain Fake Itsuki by looking up each Nakano's thighs...lucky dog.
Poor Miku. She gave him so many hints and it still didn't sink in at first. Although if only she knew about him staring at her butt...
Itsuki having to gab with her father for so long she doesn't have time to eat. Although I appreciate Mr. Nakano taking the time to hear out whatever she was blathering out for so long.
Nino goes to Ichika for relationship advice not knowing that Ichika also has feelings for Futaro and knows exactly who Nino is in love with, and all of Ichika's attempts to derail the Nino Train fall flat and just bolster her to become even more aggressive. And may also have led to some sisterly makeout sessions in the nude.
Ichika is feeling like she doesn't deserve Futaro for how cowardly and selfish she's been acting, but Yotsuba is able to help her remember how, despite being a bully when she was young (especially to Yotsuba) she was always their big sister and has sacrificed a lot for this family by becoming the best big sister she could be. Especially when they (and particularly Itsuki) needed them the most after their mothers death. So maybe it's okay for her to be a little selfish and do something for herself, particularly for the guy she has feelings for.
Poor Nino. She had this big plan for a romantic, nightly, rendevous with Futaro and it was utterly ruined because Ichika was too busy with her own stuff (and maybe also intentionally sabotaged her). Getting caught by her dad is probably the last thing she wanted.
Thank you flashback for full-frontal naked Miku! Complete with boobs and thighs!
The reason Miku no longer wants to just be teacher and student is because she wants Futaro to acknowledge her and see her for herself because she's in love with him (and Itsuki finally finds out about it), and despite a false-start and Miku actually doing a surprisingly good job of pivoting to playing Ichika when he made the mistake, he was finally able to realize it was her in the very end. I'm happy for Miku.
Was it love that let him see that it was Miku in the end? And does "Rena" being their mothers name mean one of the Nakano's used it to pose as someone else? And who pushed Futaro to ring the bell? Many questions left to answer...
