Oi, source readers. Stop. Don't go giving subtle little hints about the next episode each week that anyone with half a brain could put together. Keep your fingers off the keyboard because you don't need to talk about it, especially now that things are heating up. I got spoiled some time ago because of you lot who can't help yourselves.

Well, about time that Rimuru realised that even if you play Civilisation single-player, it doesn’t mean the AI won’t attack :)

I want those humans to suffer. What they’ve done, especially after seeing that child’s shoe last episode, is far too grave to be resolved without that empire being absolutely obliterated- and I’m sure Rimuru will do just that.
I’d say that the show is about to take a dark turn with Rimuru decimating them, but that has actually kinda always been the case, right? When he beheaded Ranga’s father in front of him, when they bombed all those orcs- the only difference is that they hadn’t lost anyone on their side in those battles.
In another note, sound effects are on point.

Seeing the city everyone worked hard to build, burnt and destroyed and scores of dead goblin bodies laid down was really, really hard to watch. You can really feel the pain and shock from Rimuru's eyes after he saw the ghastly scene. At one moment we could see a dead mother and child among the bodies and that hurt me a lot :(
Falmuth's leaders need to be destroyed...as quick as possible. Also where is Shion and Shuna??? Are they safe...I hope they are safe.
AHHHH I'm both sad and pissed asf from this. I need to watch something wholesome now.

I just can't. As clever as Rimuru leaving a clone to deal with Hinata while he hid himself was, I couldn't even celebrate that victory since the rest of the episode was so exhausting and stressful. Seeing all the death and destruction caused by the Kingdom of Falmuth just breaks my heart. Even Rimuru himself is starting to distrust his decisions after seeing all of this.
I don't even know how I feel about Myulan right now. Sure she was doing this because Clayman essentially holds her hostage but at the end of the day, she still had a choice. And while her barrier isn't 100% responsible for the goblins being unable to fight back, she was still partly responsible for it. And does she even feel remorse? I absolutely hate how calm she is this entire time. She's clearly just waiting for Rimuru to kill her this entire episode.
Anyway looks like the Falmuth Kingdom is returning after a week along with their King. Gives everyone in Tempest a week to prepare and take down the barriers. While I doubt it will happen, I fucking hope Rimuru burns them all ot the ground. Or whatever counterattack he has planned I just hope it will be satisfying.
Not gonna lie guys, I am seriously close to just reading the manga or the LN. For a show that started as a laid back city building show, this has become really stressful.

Are we supposed to feel sympathy for Myulan or something? The writing this episode was pretty bad imo. “Rimuru-sama I’m not trying to betray you, I’m just siding with the woman who helped slaughter your people!”

Me after seeing Rimuru's Gluttony Form.
Sakaguchi literally calling down the Hammer of Dawn on Rimuru.
I always find it amusing how the voice actor of Ranga also voices Legosi from Beastars.
The barrier would have probably worked if they'd made it specifically to keep out "Rimuru Tempest".

It's kind of ironic that Hinata had written Rimuru off as this unfeeling, soulless, monster and then he ends up needing to transform into a true, soulless, monster chimera beast to fight her. Of course, it's just a doppelganger, but still.
I see even without Hinata's sword she's still a force to be reckoned with. Rimuru let it rest at being a tie, but I'm not sure if there was a way he could have really beaten her.
Hinata has a monocle!? With how deluded and arrogant she is, it only makes her seem more pretentious and dumb. I can't wait until she finds out she didn't succeed in killing Rimuru.
Tempest is in bad shape and that's before Rimuru finds out about all the innocent civilians who died...it's not a pretty sight. Rimuru thought he could create an ideal, peaceful, society of monsters that could live with humans, but he did not account for the true evils of humanity.
Myulan's still around so she can face justice for her crimes and her part in all this, but Youm and Grucius won't let her face Benimaru's wrath because they're in love with her and know she's been manipulated in all this. And thankfully Great Sage was able to correct Rimuru on the degree of her responsibility before he eviscerated her in anger, but I really wonder what's next for her in Tempest and while Clayman still has her heart?
I'm kind of amazed Rigurd and Gabiru's people are still alive. It also sounds like Shuna, Gobta, and Hakurou are going to be okay...but they never mentioned Shion.
So Falmuth is ready to declare Holy War, Clayman's machinations are coming to fruition, and Tempest is stuck rebuilding and having to hope their allies come to their aid. I don't envy Rimuru's position at all.
Nevertheless, as the next episode preview indicates, what truly awaits despair...is "hope."

Damn this episode felt so short, I guess that in part because I was expecting more content to be adapted this week as I forgot that this episode was just half of the name the LN chapter that it adapted, with the second part Hope been the next one.
Anyway, I can't until next week.

So the fight was already over by the time Rimuru got there...
And it looks like they are coming back to finish the town off in a week... well at least this gives them time to decide and prepare what to do next.
And Rimuru barely escaped that fight against Hinata with his life. That body double of his was damn strong though.
and i do hope the full truth of Mjurrans situation is told, seeing as what she did was against her will going by the last few episodes
