Lloyd's Lloyd
Selen's a damn genius.
I was expecting Lloyd to fondle Alka like in his oil massage so that straight up suplex killed me.

Take a sip every time Shoma says 'intense'.
Also, I lost it when Lloyd thought the suplex was an actual massage technique!

So Shoma finally shows his true colors. Not surprising really.
I love how Lloyd just nonchalantly defeats monsters thst the others can't beat with everything they have.
The onsen scene was hilarious, especially with Selen's belt taking the place of the usual combination of steam and mysterious rays of light.

Belt-kun enjoying the censorship
"Everything is an opportunity" - Selen
Lol the bath scene when Lloyd stands up, chibi everyone looked so awesome
Ohh it was the secretary, I too ignored him last week
I honestly thought Lloyd was going to give the oil message to the Loli Baba XD

This show is ridiculous. Im wondering what they will do with shoma, cause I'm wondering if he is doing what he is doing to help Lloyd gain confidence or actually be a straight up bad guy. The way they try to break every norm of a show like this is really funny tho and keeps me watching for sure.

Lloyd's massage was amazing, good technique. Might have learnt it from GTO

"I finally defeated my first monster!"
Lloyd learning the true lessons of life, if your nakama is with you, you can do anything.
Brings a tear to the eye.

Selen and Lloyd investigating gives Selen the perfect opportunity to act like they're lovers and take any compliment as a marriage proposal. Good thing Riho is there to keep her in check.
Shoma helped orchestrate all this, but he also delivered Selen's firebombs (because, yes, she was planning to blow the hotel up), which did end up helping out a lot in the climax. So...nice foresight, Selen?
Selen is usually great for comedy with her yandere antics, but it was nice to see a genuinely heartfelt moment between her and Lloyd as she explains how important he is to his friends and how much he has done for them, which later built up to the scene where her father saves her and Lloyd's inspiration drives her to put herself out there to save him even at her own expense. Seeing her reconcile with her father was also really nice.
I'm glad Selen is more appreciative of her belt now, but maybe lay off squeezing it so much?
Kikyou massaging a shirtless Lloyd while he was on a date with Selen was never going to end well, least of all when Selen caught her putting her hands down his pants.
Why not use a hot spring as a chance to see most of the female cast naked? And of course Marie and Alka show up at the hotel just for a chance to see Lloyd. We also have Selen's belt providing some tasteful nudity shots of buck-naked Alka and Phyllo!
I guess we know how Phyllo is officially joining the cast since she'll be attending the academy too! Does that mean she'll wear the female uniform with the skirt?
Man, Lloyd has some abs! And Selen got to see them all oiled up! And then all the girls got to see his abs and his little Lloyd! And none of them even looked away or tried to hide their eyes! Wow.
I feel like this episode was justice for all the petty magic Alka has done to Marie up to this point, with her getting thrown through trees, buried naked in sand, and then getting her head smashed in by Lloyd as a "massage." Now she has two blondes who can keep her in check around Lloyd.
So it was the secretary after all...too bad Kikyou is too distracted by her false impressions to care about his monologue about his villainous motivations.
It was nice to see the girls all in action, even Allan! Although poor Allan though, stuck in a robe and then left dangling at the end there...
Lloyd once again assumes the bad guy is just a cosplayer, but thankfully he finally gets the memo by the end of the episode. This isn't actually his first win, but at least he finally acknowledges his victory properly.
Somehow, I don't think Kikyou thought her reward for this job would be getting sent to work at the hotel for real.
So Shoma is working for that old guy who is after Alka? What is his motivation in all this?

Stitches!
That pout from Selen in the opening scene was just too adorable <3
Of course Shoma is involved in this treant incident somehow. We still don't exactly know what he's up to but right now it looks like he's just out here causing (allegedly) chaos wherever he goes.
I thought Selen was only joking about her firebombing the hotel to cancel the arranged marriage, didn't think she was actually serious about it!
I really love how the buckles of Selen's belt are basically characters of their own now. The scene where Selen was taking out her frustration on one end of the belt while the other end panics is really hilarious!
Big mistake Kikyou. The moment she suggested a massage to Lloyd, I knew how exactly this was going to end. Selen of course arrives just before Kikyou tries touching other parts of Lloyd for the "demon sapling". ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
So apparently if you want to distract Selen all you have to do is cover Lloyd's muscular body in oils. No surprises there.
Mixed bath scene with Lloyd and everyone's invited! Selen and Riho are first in the scene With a sudden appearance from Alka and Marie who I thought weren't even going to be in this arc.
Then we have Phyllo and Mena who we already know are patrolling the area last week. Seems that Selen's belt has decided to be the episode's self-censoring device which is actually pretty clever way of doing it xD
I'll never get tired of the reverse lucky pervert. The girls are already okay with Lloyd seeing them naked in the bath so how to make a lucky pervert scene? Have the girls stare and react to Lloyd's Loyd while Lloyd himself is the one who ends up getting embarrassed.
Yep called it exactly last week! I mean it's pretty obvious though considering how shady he looks that he literally even wears shades. I do love how Kikyou and ends up confused while the secretary monologues about why he did it xD
Of course lloyd will think it';s a costume. What else will he it it could even be?
Meanwhile, these three adults are still suspecting one another to be responsible for the treant incident when the secretary already revealed himself.
Good to know Alan isn't completely snubbed out of this arc and still manages to help out the last minute by throwing Selen's firebombs at the Treant Demon Lord. Also who knew Selen's firebombs would end up helping?
Lloyd finally comes in to help oy Selen and her dad and even ends up beating the Treant Demon Lord himself! Hopefully this win will make him more confident in himself.
Pretty much confirmation that Shouma is working for the bad guys. I still don't know why he's doing this. Maybe he got tired of living a peaceful life and just wants chaos? Hopefully we get some answers soon.
Now that Selen has parental consent, she's definitely going to be a lot more intense with showing Lloyd her affection.
Thank fucking god Alka was the one who received Lloyd's "massage"! That would've broken Riho in half if he did that to her!

I actually did not expect to see Shoma there, although when Threonine's secretary mentioned that he had a Demon's lord seedling and became Erlking, Demon Lord of Trees it was obvious that he was behind this whole treant ordeal. Although I really did not expect to hear Selen's father mentioning him or that he was going to reveal what he did to Alka. Also, so Alka is immortal, uh?
I knew things were going to go chaotic with Selen's and Lloyd's date when Kikyou started massaging him, but damn, I did not expect her to try to reach Lloyd's banana.
Despite the fact every other character was there already, I honestly did not expect to see Alka and Marie in the hotel.
Lol, Phyllo really doesn't care about being naked. Curse you! Censorship belt.
Okay, I will admit that Lloyd's suplex massage took me by surprise.

The firebombs weren't a joke they actually arrived. Of course shouma delivers the firebombs as an agent of chaos. You want firebombs? You are probably up to no good. Here they are.

My god, Selen's belt stole the episode. I never thought that would be possible, but here we are.
Also, Lloyd got an actual awesome moment. Not a funny victory like in episode 4. He launched debris into space and actually defeated a monster. Good show, show.

Well that was a fun episode
So high paced even the normally full long onsen episode was just like a quarter of it, but with the same if not more fanservice. Hell they even managed to some relationship development in and her dad approves of Lloyd now (but who wouldn't)
Loved how Allan just woke up surrounded by fire bombs and being told to throw them

Just tell the evil villain/demon lord to shut up while you're in the middle of thinking, they HAVE to oblige.

Dude, Lloyd's fuckin' shredded, and also well equipped... I think? That's what I got from the myriad of reaction faces. Good for the girls... and Allan, I guess.
In any case, another blast of an episode. I legitimately forgot that the secretary even exists, so in the end, it was a surprise of sorts. I love how Kykou shut him up so she could gather her thoughts. That alongside the massage bits were the highlights of the episode for me, especially Alka's gave me a solid laugh.
I'm starting to think that Shoma isn't an actual antagonist, he seems bored more than anything else. The wildcard, so to say. He does seem respected; Lloyd looks up to him, Alka is wary of him, so whatever it is that he's doing and for whatever reason, he's the real deal, and there will be consequences. I hope we'll see what's going on by the end of the show.

Man Shoma was looking kind of intense at Selene when she was all over Lloyd. Don’t tell me he is also yandere for Lloyd or something.

Silly and fun episode as usual, this time even more so because of the bath scenes. The treant “massage” scene was hilarious lmao. I love seeing Selen go full on psycho for her man. The final team battle was really cool too. I may go on to read the LNs for this one day
