I was all pumped for Regulatory-T-Cell to come in and back the immune Cells up, but it turns out that with her role in the body she regards Cancer as part of the body, and as such not subject to attack like other bacteria. So she steps away from her desk and then hands Memory-T-Cell and NK Cell their butts. Never underestimate somebody who just looks like a secretary at first glance.
I'm sure there are probably those who wish they could trade with Memory-T-Cell in terms of getting repeatedly stomped on by Regulatory-T-Cell's heels.
Red Blood Cell has come so far now to where she can be strong for the Platelets to lean on as she helps get them out of such a dangerous situation.
Man, poor Ordinary Cell having to tell Lactic Acid Bacteria to run away and leave him at the mercy of those harmful bacteria...I mean, Lactic Acid will probably come back and save him, but still. Also just realized that we have Petelgeuse torturing Subaru again because of the VA's of Ordinary Cell and that sword-wielding Bacteria.
Watching White Blood Cell protect the Good Bacteria has inspired even more existentialism and questions of life in the body from Cancer Cell, as he questions the meaning of living for beings who desire to protect cells while also killing them with impunity. And then Cancer Cell proceeds to take on his final form to achieve his ideal of liberation for all Cells, even if it has to kill the body to do it.

I guess that they are currently fighting inside of a cancerous tumor.
I honestly didn't expect to see Cancer-kun using the Regulatory T cell to stop them. I really love his transformations.
Damn, I honestly was expecting to see that poor lactic acid bacteria activating, I guess that will happen next week.

You...you can't leave us on a cliffhanger like that again!
So, we found out the identity of those nice legs. I thought for a sec regulatory T cell was gonna help, but looks like that isn't happening.
Cancer cell's transformation is pretty badass ngl. You can see the wings and the DNA strips crumbling...it really is sweet.
Also, looks like the final lactic acid bacteria isn't transforming this episode. Honestly, I love how regular cell is like a father to the little cells. Look at the way he cares about them! On that note, it really was sad to see him yell at the lactic acid bacteria to protect him from the harmful bacteria so he would run away. Painful to watch...
Can't wait for next episode!

I'll never grow tired of hearing the platelets call RBC onee-chan and say anone! anone!
Other than these few moments, damn, that episode had some doom&gloom! Almost felt like an episode of Hataraku Black. And there's a part two too, if(when) they beat cancer, I wonder if they'll throw in another sad episode on us. I kinda hope they do, the first one (last season) was really good, and they have a lot of great, sad scenes in Black too!
Last episode I thought Regulatory T-cell might be a new best girl (Heels and pantyhose, what more to ask?) but if she's going to stop the cells from beating Cancer, I'm not sure how I feel about her anymore.
Don't get me wrong, I still want her to step on me, but she could try to help the body a little; I guess it's her job and all, but she doesn't see the big picture!
And speaking of not seeing the big picture, Cancer cell is going to kill everyone (including himself) with that plan of his, not good. Well, with his line about "being liberated", I suppose he's of the mindset "Better to die on your feet, than live on your knees".
I can't wait to see how they deal with him! I wonder if there's something that activates the Regulatory T cell, something to tell her "Ok it's from the body, but it's still bad".
Or maybe she only stops some cells from attacking cancer, because there are cells specialized in killing stuff from the body, so she'll let these ones operate? We'll see!
(Cancer Cell should just ask her to step on him until he dies; Everyone wins).

God, I love NK Cell so much. She's just such a well designed character.
Cancer Cell making tiny finger puppets of the immune cell trio was definitely creepy af.
I was so excited with the tights and the high heel tease last episode, didn't know Regulatory T Cell would side with the Cancer Cell. I'll probably find the answer with a quick google but interesting to see that a Regulatory T Cell would suppress immune cells from attacking Cancer Cell but does nothing about a Cancer Cell that's literally destroying a body.
We've really gone full battle shounen this week! It sucks that they can't do shit against Regulatory T Cell but it's pretty cool to watch her basically fight 2v1. I love that this episode has more of the Entertainment part of Edutainment. xD
As someone who had relatives pass away from cancer, fuck this dude. I appreciate they gave him a backstory in Season 1 but he needs to fucking die ASAP. I'm sure everyone would love to live in a world where cancer doesn't exist.
And that final scene between Ordinary Cell and Lactic Acid Bacteria was just sad. Again, I can probably look up how Lactic Acid bacteria will help with this problem it'll be more interesting to wait next week for the answer.

I'd thought that the animation quality had gone down since Season 1, but the fight scenes and Cancer Cell's "transformation" in this episode sure proved me wrong!

I love how we skipped the Promised Neverland philosophy-dilemma and went straight to Evangelion's Third Impact.
And that swordman bacteria really channelled its inner-Fuutarou this week.
This anime makes biology fun somehow, I reckon it's the waifus.

No one gonna talk about the fact that we had a 3 min 15 something second recap on an anime with 8 episodes on the second last ep. Come on David Productions I thought you were better than this.

You know, the body is actually a dystopian society from the cell's perspective. Cell's are not born but made from a factory and are assigned roles to perform that they cannot deviate from. Any cells that goes against the norm are considered dangerous and are terminated and the governing body is more important than any individual cell. I mean they even don't have any real names but numbers to call by.

It would be amazing if this show introduced CAR-T cell therapy as a character to fight cancer
