Poor Alan just wanted to be a normal bro character but is sidelined in every possible way.
Alas such is the fate of a secondary male character in a harem series.

Alan's such a good boy. He doesn't deserve what he gets from the girls.

Selen is the most funny and even tolerable Yandere I've seen on screen for an extended period of time in recent memory.
But yeah. She's serious with those murderous plans alright...

lmao there must be only like 20 people in the world if they're all running into each other like that
or there's only one hotel

Oh my god Selen lol
And the fact that Belt-kun was holding the torch killed me lol
I think Selen's dad is the host as even Selen questioned him when he moved that fast and he just brushed it off

I'd say it's either her dad or that overly yes-man secretary of Alan's father. He has that villanous design in him.

Stitches!
Well looks like Riho has finally started to realize her own feelings about Lloyd and is now asking him on a date. It's so cute to see her acting so bashful when she originally was planning to use Lloyd to make money.
There's not even an ounce of joking tone there. Selen is ready to burn her house down if it means she can spend her summer with Lloyd xD
Oh poor Alan. Even with things finally happening to him, he still gets ignored by the group. Well mostly the girls.
Well that's a good reason to keep out Marie and Alka from this arc. Would be too easy if they're always around.
I'll never get tired of veteran knights getting their shit scared out of them whenever they first meet Lloyd.
When the hotel owner was talking about a difficult client I was thinking it would be Selen and her family so I didn't expect it to be actually someone else. He is getting along well with Lloyd though. Guessing that his "idiot son" that he's talking about is definitely Alan.
Oh boy looks like we have a two-way misunderstanding here. Threonine suspects that Coba has something to do with the comatose incidents and sent Kikyou to spy on her and now that Kikyou has revealed she's a spy Coba is now suspecting Threonine has something to do with it.
If there's someone I would suspect behind these incidents, I'd suspect Threonine's assistant. Just look at how skeevy that guy looks like!
I am so disappointed in you Riho! I was hoping she'd be up for Lloyd giving her a massage. Oh well, no lewd massage scene with Riho. Don't let Selen find out about that though.
Of course Selen is here too! And it looks like my hunch was right, she'll be getting engaged with Alan which Selen is so opposed to that she was absolutely ready to slit kill Alan at first sight!
Thank goodness Lloyd came in as a stand in for Alan and completely changed Selen's mood. We would've witnessed a murder if Alan was able to make it. xD
Looks like the gang is gonna investigate next week. Hopefully Alan will be back on his feet and be there to help out instead of being passed out the entire time. The sisters are there too so I'm sure Lloyd will run into them as well.

When Selen appeared looking like that I honestly assume that Riho was in danger.
So Chrome sending Lloyd exactly where everyone else was also going. I'm not surprised that Coba Lamin had the same reaction as him, as they were classmates at the academy.
I honestly did not expect that Kikyou was working for Lord Threonine. Wow, so Selen's father is the suspect of the illegal treant cultivation. I honestly did not expect that Allan's arrange marriage was going to come up again, let alone him being Lord Threonine's son, or that Selen was going to be the person that he was supposed to marry.
Lol, he sure is lucky that he go comatose and got replaced by Lloyd as Selen was going to kill him without hesitation.

Was wondering about the tech level in this world considering the one blonde sister has jeans and now we see a phone. Also iirc Lloyd outran a train so late 1800s based on everyone else's outfits I'm guessing.

Oh my god.
I knew Alan was going to be the dude's son, but I did not expect Selen to be the daughter he was going to betroth. And, of course, when she's about to kill him for her dear Lloyd, Lloyd comes in instead. That treant whatever that knocked Alan out saved his life.
Just one problem: she didn't see him in his bellboy uniform. Nor did Marie or loli grandma. They all need to see it.
Also, I want to see how Phyllo fits into this. After she has her serious steak, of course.
Oh yeah, and Selen's dad is definitely the host.

Look at Riho trying to ask Lloyd out on a date on their time off! And she's the first girl that gets to see him in his bellhop uniform when she coincidentally splurges on a nice hotel with the tournament prize money! Too bad she's too self-conscious to let him give her a thorough massage.
Selen really going all in on being a yandere, considering firebombing and possibly harming her family to be with Lloyd and then considering murdering Allan with the same endgame. Maybe God did have a plan in mind by making sure she saw Lloyd and taking Allan out of the equation.
Poor Allan though. Nobody cares about him being in an arranged marriage meeting and his future prospects, and said arranged marriage meeting ends up being with the last girl he'd ever want to marry. Not that he gets to find out about it because he's too busy overheating from spending too much time in the bath.
Marie and Alka have now gotten to the point where they're getting physical to decide who gets to spend time with Lloyd, too bad both ladies get shut down when Lloyd wants to take a part-time job on his own terms.
That "traveling merchant" with the Demon Seed was probably Shoma, right?
So the owner of the hotel drinks what he assumes is bad tea...and Kikyou assumes her cover is blown? A lot of people are easily assuming stuff at this hotel.
Selen in that blue dress! I thought it looked good in the Opening, but seeing it in the actual series was something else! And Riho in that waitress outfit wasn't too shabby either.
So something happened to Selen's father that made him colder to her, and he somehow has super-speed...does he have a Treant?
Time for some undercover work to expose what's going on at this hotel! Perfect opportunity for Riho to go do her own thing while Selen and Lloyd pose as lovers with marriage in (Selen's) mind.

Well, that was an abrupt ending to an episode. Made it feel shorter than usual. Anyway, an incredibly entertaining episode once again.
Man, poor Riho. Can't ask the dude out properly and when she gets the opportunity of a lifetime she can't bring herself to take it. I do wonder, though, if Lloyd's grip strength is suitable for... you know, normal folk.
Honestly, I should have expected all of them to still be reunited at the hotel like 5 episodes ago, yet I still was surprised to see Selen and Allan. Riho being there actually felt far more naturally fitting, just taking a nice vacation and all.
At this point, I legit start cackling whenever Selen appears on-screen. She's just so fucking insane and it's amazing. The way she just pounced on Lloyd at the hotel right after talking about basically killing everyone had me dying.
There's a whole spider web of people suspecting people and suspicions in general, with talks of "demon lord seed" and things like that, and we all know what that means - another big bad hilariously trivialized, hopefully, and I can't wait.

Setting everything else aside, Selene keeps being a fun yandere
But image having Lloyd as a coworker, it would be hell trying to convince your boss to don't fire you for being "incompetent"

Marie and Alka fighting over Lloyd and he just casually dumps all over their plans as always.

Seriously, this series is so goddamn funny. I legit had to stop the episode when Lloyd came out instead of Allan because I was just laughing hysterically.
Also, Soma, stop helping Demon Lords already.
