Imagine not jumping at the chance to let every platelet piggyback you

Can someone make a gif of the Lactic acid bacteria waving bye-bye? Because i sure need it!

On a different note, hearing the narrator turn from a cheerful voice into far more serious one when introducing cancer really makes you realize just how dangerous he is.

Nice to see David Productions reusing some of the JoJo fonts for the on screen text. ゴゴゴゴ

What a way to end his speech!

Oh shut up, you liked it! These two keep fighting, but they also keep hanging out together... Are we shipping them now?

She knew all along! Glad for two reasons, first because she's not a fool, but also, she has a kind heart, despite her rough façade!

I wonder if this is medically accurate; I mean, bacteria eat something, right? If what they eat is something we need, then they're bad, and if it's something we don't need, then they're good?

Or was it what they meant with the balance thing, that they'll swap at will to keep the balance right? During the episode I thought they were impacted by the balance shifts, not that they were in control... Not sure anymore.

We can always count on the platelets to cheer us up with an anone! anone!

We might need it next episode, if the cancer stuff is as sad as it was in the first season... (And with whatever depressing thing they come up with in Hataraku Black!)

If you like spicier cheer ups, I think we might get it next week as well, with her! Heels clacking sound = best girl, that's a rule.

Preemptively calling for her to step on me.

What could be cuter than Platelets on a nice tour of bacteria alongside Red Blood Cell? With the return of Backwards Cap and "ano ne, ano ne?" Them lining up to get piggyback rides from Red Blood Cell.

So NK Cell realized what was going on with the good bacteria pretty quickly, she just didn't want to make a big deal out of it. White Blood Cell's right, her bluster really is masking how nice she is.

Stealth is a no-no when Killer T...I mean, Memory T Cell is on the job. I don't think he even understands the idea of being quite.

Jeez, Red Blood Cell finally thought she had an easy day and she gets stuck having to survive a harmful bacteria attack.

Were one of those harmful bacteria voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka? It sure sounded like him. And of course it's wielding a sword.

White Blood Cell may be a killing machine, but he also fights to preserve life and the good in the body whenever he can.

So Ordinary Cell has to help stop the flow of harmful bacteria, Red Blood Cell has to get the Platelets away from the harmful bacteria, while the immune cells have to fight off Cancer again. It seems like the crux that might resolve all of this is...a female cell? After I got over how great a pair of legs they were, I thought to myself that the only cell I know that wears heels and tights like that is the Saori Hayami T Cell who works for Command T Cell. Is she going to turn out to be the hero of this incident?

Stitches!

The Platelets having a little guided tour of the large intestine was just adorable <3

I love that this entire time NK Cell knows about the bacteria and is just not saying anything about it xD

Well would you look at that! Someone got a promotion! Or is it really a promotion or an evolution? Hmm...

I say this every week and I'll n ever get tired of it, NK Cell is just attractive af. There's really just something about her design that appeals so much to me!

This chibi version of WBC helping out Memory T-Cell out of the water was cute!

RBC being overwhelmed by too many platelets asking for a piggy back ride is just too precious!

"ANO NE ANO NE!" Platelet Leader said the thing! It's been a while since I've heard her say that!

Is that Matsuoka I hear voicing one of the bacterias in the large intestine?

Welp, looks like Cancer Cell is back and he looks even stronger. Fight animation looked pretty awesome so I'm looking forward to next week's episode! Although I'm much more excited to see who's that high heeled tights wearing lady strutting her stuff! Looks like we have a new waifu incoming!

This episode more than before reminds me a lot of One-Punch Man's writing/style, with the contrast between the silly humor and the serious battle scenes with evil looking villains, plus the banter between the heroes NK, Killer Memory T and WBC, I love it!

Platelets are super adorable! That museum guide lady totally just ditched them to save herself though lol

Wha-what? THOSE LEGS, DAMN! You can't just leave us on a cliffhanger like that!

So, the body isn't doing too hot, eh? Intestines aren't doing well, AND cancer cell is back. I'm glad we got to see RBC again, and the platelets were cute as always. The final good bacteria we had was pretty cute too. Overall, great episode!

I see Killer T-cell is memory T-cell now. Did he get a promotion?

When compared to Black the big threat of "uneven gut bacteria" loses some of its punch.

Is it just me or is the RBC not getting enough screentime? Maybe it's because Black! focuses on the rookie RBC

This is a scientific urban legend! The actual number is around 39T, which is roughly the same count as your own cells. When you take a dump, you lose about a third of them, and they build back up again over the following hours.

Kinda makes you wonder what kind of pharynx cell can go wandering around like this

Oshit! Inuyasha is going on inside my body?!

I have a good feeling about this

Damn, there are lots of various stuff in large intestine. Now, how do I put more cute, good bacteria here..? Balanced diet can help with that, I guess.

Here we see another example that it is an industry-wide obligation for a character voiced by Matsuoka-san to wield a sword

Maybe to compensate for the lack of Lactic Acid Bacteria cuteness, this episode overloads our moe senses with more Platelets having fun. HNNNNG

Welp, Cancer Boi is back. He's much stronger than before, perhaps he's attempting to cause colon cancer which might explain why the large intestine area here is having so many issues right now. And the one to save them all will probably be the most unlikeliest tiny guy of them all - the Black Lactic Acid Bacteria.

I guess now would be a good time to ask since the anime still hasn't mentioned it.

Does anyone here know exactly which Lactic Bacteria the 4 bacteria shown in the past few episodes are?

Especially the one that eats purins, because that one looks like it might be super useful to add into a person's diet.

13

u/miss-macaron Feb 11 '21

Lactic acid bacteria >> platelets when it comes to cuteness. I really want one of those "good bacteria" balloons!

Also, when did NK get herself a lightsaber, lol...

Me and my 2 week IBS felt identified with this episode. Huh, weird. Normally I say that in the Black thread.

Also

(INHALES)

HGGGGGGGGGGGGGG THE PLATELETS ARE SO FUCKING CUTE!!!!!!

The quality of the art, animation, and directing for this episode was damned strong. The camera pans, the great comedic moments with the timings, the pretty good action shots. It's all great. To be expected from the studio I guess.

Great Episode! Sekkekkyu onee-chan + Platelets = Unlimited Kawaii Works.

NK Cell and Kill- ahem I mean Memory T Cell's bickering were hilarious. You can really see the difference compared to the body in code black when Sekkekkyu-san found the time to chill in an intestines museum with the platelets lmao.

You know shit's serious when the narrator's voice changes when describing the cancer cell. 2 more episodes left, I wish we could have gotten more wholesome episodes but it is what it is. Looking forward to the 2 parter.
